Is o2.cz Legit?

Decent connection, however the customer service is appalling. Modem/Router costs an extra 3000czk (approx.100GBP), and when we decided to purchase a TP-Link router instead, which worked perfectly, they wouldn't accept a return of the O2 router purchased in the shop. We have decided to ride out the mandatory 3 months on contract and then switch to a company that is a little more helpful. See ya O2!

Expensive for an avarage quality. Extra charges for everything and limited deposit’s returned. You can easily pay with a credit bank, but return only to a Czech account or by crediting your balance, very hard way. They lied it was for 24 months only. Customer service is rather pathetic and finally limit responses to send an email. No more.

I subscribed to an internet contract in February 2022. Internet speed was always disappointing. I was charged 1000 Kc security for being a foreigner, which was never returned. To top it up, I was "sold" an modem without my full knowledge, which I would never agree to buy, and was accordingly charge 2500Kc at the end of the contract, because this totally useless material "was mine". Stay away from those people is my advice.

Internet work prefcetly, hight price but works. What makes me very angry is fraudulent technique about payment of 5g modem, they give you hight price about 5000 - 6000 CZK to pay if you wnat to cancle serice. Truly "Unbound" tarif. Dishonest tactic. Something I did not expect from a modern company, more and more thieves.

I went to O2 because i want to use my familyandfriends invitation for a cheaper tarif. They offered tarifs between starting from 1499 czk the requested all documents tripple or twice and even with recidence permit i should need to pay them a deposite even tough everything on my current provide is paid and part two of how to treat foreigners is that all the communication is only in czech, every mail needs to be translated. UNREAL. deleting of the personal data takes 2 working-days, let's see if this will be the truth. I WARN EVERYONE- do not even think about using o2, terribel.

From extremely dodgy extra costs on the monthly bill that had to be claimed constantly, to unexpected billing, to threats through a third company on bills that they do not really inform you are outstanding, to blatant lies and incompetent policies, procedures and services.I rather communicate via pigeon.

It looks all impressive that you can access data throughout Europe, but O2 Cz are exceptionally unhelpful. Unreliable. They charge you for 7gb and give you nothing, only to keep charging you 19kc for every 300mb. Borderline scam!

I am an expat,and i had a postpaid plan with o2,when started my postpaid plain the salesman tol after 6 month of sucessfull payments of monthly bill i will be eligible to purchase any electronics from them with monthly installments with my residency permit.And after 6 months i have been there they told simply its not possible because i dont have permenant residency or citizenship in czech republic.liars.O2 cz never for expats.I would suggest T mobile.

I have O2 for less than 1 month and issues keep piling up: - terrible network connection - it's extremely slow and faulty - worst customer service ever - I have submitted a request to check my connection 3 times in one month. They cancel the visit of the technician because they claim they reset the network remotely (if there is a need to reset the system 3 times in one there is clearly something wrong). - dishonest - when signing the contract I was told that there was no fee whatsoever if I would cancel the service after 3-6 months. Now they claim that I should pay for the modem. I have had UPC for 4 years and I never had single problem. O2 is just a tremendous disappointment.

one star is really too good for o2 mobile operator in Czech Republic. The worst mobile network operator in Europe. They will rip off everyone with their dodgy skills. I was with them for more than a year but really cannot stand their dishonesty anymore. T mobile is 100 times better than them and very fair to their customer and I am talking after my personal experience with T mobile for sometime already.O2 is the worst mobile network for people especially foreigners in Czech Republic. Beware it is a trap for you guys.

They charge you for calling their support if you are not in Czech republic. Crazy stuff! They activate services like internet and make you pay for it and nothing you can do. Damn Corporation!

They are scammers. They sell the router at a prize that could be about 3 or 4 times the actual market prize. I'm asked to pay almost 200 EUR for a router that should cost about 50-60 EUR as much.The salesman does not clearly specify that the router is paid by you and it is your property. When signing the contract, you are obligated to pay during 4 years.Completely disappointed with this company and the customer service

I wanted to interrupt their internet service by the time my contact had to end. I came to their office in Brno, Česká, 3 times, and all the 3 times (!!!) one of the employees clearly told me: when your contact is over, the service is interrupted automatically, UNLESS you take a special action. In the reality, nobody stopped the service, they kept charging me, and when I came to their office and asked: what the f...???they were just smiling and saying they that never told me all this. Simply cheaters!!! Avoid.

I almost forgot this, but this firm is .... ehm. When was a student and a customer of o2, I was sometimes charged for the services which I wasn't using (and wasn't even able to use with my old cellphone). The worst part was however that talking with them is a pure agony, they just don't give damn about it and even if you report it next month you get the same nonsense in your invoice again. Generally, it is very sad that having a contract with an arbitrary operator is always risky because it really seems that they have a right come up with services you never ordered and you don't have a chance to defend yourself as a single customer against such big corporate. Later I switched to prepaid tarif as it was safer option. Shame on you O2!!!

Very, very bad. I cancelled my service 3 months ago... I am still getting invoiced, and it is impossible to get someboday on the phone who can speek proper English. It is a disgrace that service. You are being wrongly informed and even if they say that they gonna fix it, and you assume you they fixed, the problem pops up again.I'd rather have no mobile phone operating than a contract with O2 CZ.

Don't install O2 5G internet! When you will terminate the contract they will ask you to buy out an unnecessary device (modem) and you have no choice to refuse
