novalight-uk.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives novalight-uk.com a fairly low score on the platform: 20.8. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 20.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to novalight-uk.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning novalight-uk.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between novalight-uk.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of novalight-uk.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of novalight-uk.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. novalight-uk.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether novalight-uk.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether novalight-uk.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, novalight-uk.com.

Do not purchase. This is a scam and the product is like a toy. The instruction manual is poorly written and littered with “skin lightening” properties which are not mentioned on their website. Their email address is a gmail and hotmail and like others have said, you can’t return the item unless you post half way across the world at your cost. They do say you can keep the item and get a 40% refund which in and of itself is pretty strange and dodgy!
Really dodgy looking cheap item. Really should have known better.Badly packaged, probably just plain, normal led lights without any actual benefits - buyer beware.
Impossible to send back as it is in the French reunion and costs more to send back than the item itself. I have lost £190 on an item that is not comfortable and I struggle to use, do not use Novalight uk, it is not a UK company. I should have known better
Avoid avoid avoid!!! I wish I had read the reviews on here prior to purchasing. I found the company via what would no appear to be a fake review/product comparison site. Cheap product in very poor packaging, with atrocious instruction “manual”, it is one poorly printed page. Attempted to return and I have been given an address in reunion, which will cost over £100 to ship there and apparently that will be at my cost or if I decide to keep it, he said he will refund me 40% of the purchase price (£71), making it an even £100 to return it or keep it…. Complete and utter scam! Reporting to PayPal.
I’m now being told my review is being taken offline!!! Why? This is a totally honest review of this terrible product. Novalight should be ashamed of their bullying tactics. Disgusting. My experience is exactly the same as almost every other review on here. I’ve been given the same ridiculous return address in Reunion (they know what they’re doing, don’t they?) I’ve raised a complaint with PayPal. Please, please don’t buy this product it’s a complete scam, it’s clunky and doesn’t stay on your face, I daren’t switch it on in case I blow myself up. I’ve emailed Novalight asking for a sensible return address but no reply so far. Speaking to Crealift llc through PayPal they’ve gone quiet too………… any help or suggestions on what I can do to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated
If I could give a zero-rated review I would do. I read a review online from "The Honest Review" which I now believe was written by the people behind Novalight, and other "beauty" products that they "review" and is a scam to encourage people to buy cheap and shoddy fakes. I had started the process of buying via Apple Pay before reading any reviews here (something I will never do again!) and instead of pressing "back" on my phone as I had felt something wasn't right and wanted to double-check things, I pressed the confirm button. Such a stupid mistake on my behalf, as I am usually so cautious buying online. The problem I have is that although the mask arrived it does not work at all! It came very poorly wrapped with poor instructions, as others have said, and smacks of a cheap rip-off of a legitimate beauty product, and is definitely not worth the money paid.I have tried at least 6 times to email them to get help, and their total lack of any response proves my thoughts about the company being a front to resell cheap products and then run for the hills with peoples money.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
This company is posting a string of fake 5* reviews . They are very easy to spot, and usually involve one small negative comment followed by many positives to make it look more genuine. Please look at the true 1* reviews, and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST.
I ordered LED mask, read reviews and tried to cancel but they sent it anyway. I emailed them and got a number of fake email not received responses. They said I would get full refund if I did tracked delivery which cost my £20 but I have not received refund and they are not responding to my emails. AVOID
Oh no I’ve just ordered this based on the reviews on their site. I then decided AFTER to look at other reviews and came across all these negative ones. I have emailed them to cancel and hope they acknowledge it. I have paid with pay pal so hopefully they will help me if needed. These scams are a nightmare
I received my package. However, the box of my led face mask was somewhat damaged, and there was no explanation whatsoever about how to use the mask, nor what the pins given with it are for ! A leaflet with operating instructions would have been more than welcome !!
I stupidly read reviews after purchasing. I sent 3 prior emails instructing not to ship the order and to refund the item and a day later I have received a shipping email. Unfortunately it looks like the reviews are right and this is a scam company.
Product is poorly designed and made. Packaging cheap, crumpled and unbranded. Product when unwrapped (again from poor internal packaging) was flimsy and broken (at hinge on one side). Product is not as advertised. Haven't even plugged it in as not happy with the look, feel and quality. This should be retailing at £20-£30 and not £180 although it would still be disappointing at £20.Have emailed the company 3 times in the last week and still have received no reply. I've escalated with my payment merchant for a charge back refund but money may be gone. Don't make the same mistake in being misled by the website (although on reflection it's not hard with a bit of research to reach your own conclusion that it is one to avoid).17/01 - Chargeback with Revolut was successful and i've now been fully refunded. Nearly 2 months to resolve but would advise others to follow same process.
DO NOT BUY FROM NOVALIGHT UK / CREALIFT IIC - ITS A SCAM.The mask was missing parts, doesn't work and is very cheap quality. When I asked them for return details they said the return address was Le Reunion Island and that I would need to cover courier costs. I looked for quotes and it costs approx £100 for courier from UK to Le Reunion (an island near Madagascar). No where on the website or on the email confirmations when purchasing was this return address mentioned, and they are trading under Novalight UK which would suggest some connection to the UK but there is not. I replied to Novalight UK to explain that I couldn't afford to return the item with courier costs of £100 when the item itself was £179 and they said they would refund me 40% of the LED face mask if I kept it. I explained that It was missing a head strap so not even usable and that I would like to return it but they said the only return address I could send it to was Le Reunion. I purchased through Paypal so I raised the issue with PayPal resolution centre and they have looked into it. I have since seen the reviews from other customers In my similar situation on Trustpilot and wish I had read this before purchasing the mask.I now know that the article which was advertising the mask - an online magazine customer review article making out this Novalight LED mask was best rated when compared to the other LED face masks available - was a FAKE article that Novalight UK created. THEY ARE TOTAL SCAMMERS! I hope this review helps warn anyone else from making the mistake to purchase one.NOTE: They trade under Novalight UK but the payment on PayPal went to a company called Crealift IIC.
SCAM - I have sent over 5/6 emails over a period of 2 weeks requesting for a refund after reading the reviews and I am not getting anywhere. They responded once asking why and nothing since.Absolutely disgraceful service.
Below review is EXACTLY right. I was about to leave exactly the same review. DO.NOT.BUY. I am going to try and return this mask so hopefully the returns process will surprise me and I'll be successful. I purchased based on articles saying it was the best for results, it's SO unbelievably heavy it has bruised (to the touch) my eye and eyebrow bones after a week's worth of use. A friend has a different one and she's used it for a year and loves it! Finds it very relaxing. There is nothing relaxing about this mask. AVOID!!Edit* Novalight have refunded me and their process was extremely straight forward and they were very professional. 5*'s for them for customer care
Avoid this company at all costs! The good reviews are fake. The product is cheap and poorly made. It cost me £20 to return to France. And they are ignoring my request for a refund. I've had to open a dispute with PayPal. The 'independent' review advert on Instagram is fake too, its a scam. God knows what damage it would do to your skin, if you use it!
I bought a Novalight LED mask which arrived with the shell / plastic broken on one side. This meant the mask itself would not secure to my face and I would have to hold it in place. I contacted customer services a number of times, eventually they did reply with: "In fact, the device is not broken..." and "to be honest with you, if you choose to return the product to our traditional fulfilment warehouse it will take three weeks and could cost over £100 in delivery and handling costs. customs...". The company was clearly happy for me to have to hold the mask on my face rather than use the straps and structure of the mask to secure it. That if the LED still worked I should be happy with their easily broken bit of plastic. This went on for some time and after being offered a 40% refund on the expensive mask, I approached Paypal for help as I had thankfully bought this using their service. I was fully refunded but not without a lot of time, effort and chasing a company that quite frankly in these times, should respect peoples money and time. This is a bad quality mask and terrible customer service. If you want to try an LED mask, try another brand..
AVOID AVOID AVOID. the mask is cheap and heavy, also extremely painful on the forehead and causes bruising. I read positive 5 star reviews on trust pilot before purchasing then after I received the mask I checked trust pilot again because I thought something wasn't right. The fake 5 star reviews were removed. Total scam. I contacted the company and they asked for a video to give me a refund. I explained I was in my 14 day return period, they asked me to post the product back to Reunion island in the Indian ocean for a full refund or 50% refund and I keep the product. I chose the latter based on postage costs. I explained they need to update their website on where the product comes from and remove any false advertising. They said the product is made in France and that's where their laws originate from. No mention of France on the website. Their email address also blocks any request for refunds as "spam" so you need to be careful what you write. I had to ask for my refund three times before I got it. Awful company.
Where do I start, the product arrived in a box with instructions that were poor. It had grammatical errors and broken English and did not even give you clear advice on how to use the product. At a retail price of over £400 you would expect top quality instructions and packaging and this certainly wasnt. Then I asked for a refund as I was not happy with the product to find the return address is in an island in the middle of knowhere which will cost over £100 to return so despite them saying then will give me a full refund I will be minus the delivery cost. Then I started using the product to see if it actually works and now it’s faulty and switches off seconds after starting the programme. I have tried to contact them again and still they will not provide me with a free returns label so that I can get a full refund as I should deserve given this is a faulty product not to mention not the quality I’d expect. There communication is poor and we still have not had a resolution and I purchased this product back in November. Do not buy from them; this is a scam!!!
Well it has been a journey.Ordered my mask on the 5th of December for Xmas. It was delivered on the 27th.The second time I used it the transformer blew up.Novalight sent me a new transformer. It did not work either. They sent me a new mask on the 3rd of February. They have emailed me 17 times and I have sent 4 including 2 videos of my broken mask.My new mask works but I am making a video of each use.It was a lot of money and very stressful but they have tried hard.Fingers crossed for beautiful skin!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
