We came up with the 12.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to northcarrentals.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning northcarrentals.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between northcarrentals.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of northcarrentals.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of northcarrentals.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. northcarrentals.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status

It isn’t a scam in my experience however I ordered a Toyota prius and I got a Toyota Prius that was very old, had dents over the whole car, was obviously imported from Japan and didn’t have anything in English and worst of all the tires were completely balled down to the point that the wires of the wheel were exposed. The tire that was completely balled went flat after a week and tried to organise to get it fixed however owners didn’t help to get it fixed. Bit dodgy.
Complete scammer! The car we booked did not exist when we arrived. Then they tried to rent us another car for a totally different price. No go!
We were picked up from the airport and taken to the untidy and dirty office to someone who struggled to find the correct car key. We then had $2500 put a deposit on our credit that we did not expect. The car was old and scratched and had no USB connectivity, it rattled when we drove it away, we drove back and cut our losses by cancelling. The whole outfit is unprofessional and felt “off” Pay the extra and go with one of the bigger car hire companies. We will research hire cars in future !
Shocking scammers! Avoid this company. We need them removed from NZ. Booked and cancelled within timeframe. I even asked if they would give me a credit instead of refund me and they said they would do that but no credit note arrived, no replies to my emails. Just take my money and ignore me. And now NorthCar Rentals reply, saying I have rented with them multiple times when I have not. Also false claims about cancelling late. I have the emails and I can do the maths North Car Rentals. I read your terms and conditions and I met them but you will still not give me my refund or a credit and you will not even reply to my emails. I will take this to the commerce commission next as there are loads of great rental operators in NZ and we do not need you.
Appalling! From the moment we arrived at the airport waiting for the apparent “shuttle” which eventually arrived after calling and it was actually a private vehicle with them man who ran the hire office. We had printed the vouchers as requested online to find we still had to complete a lengthy form filling process where upon we were then asked to pay $2,500 nzd as a security deposit and we were told it would just be a hold on our card. Rather than this being a hold on my credit card, it was debited from my account. This was not mentioned online PRIOR to booking and it is shocking as major hire car companies do not charge anywhere near that amount. The fact they debited the money from my account rather than as a hold could have had dire consequences on my personal financial planning for my trip, The $2,500 is noted in the documentation they send you by email AFTER you have booked and it is hidden in the booking docs. The vehicle we had hired was a Nissan note or equivalent, low and behold the hiring manager appeared with a beat up prius when we pointed out that this was a sedan not a small economy hatchback he then appeared with a Toyota aqua. This car was dirty and dented. Key takeaway is always check for reviews! Do not book with this company. The $ saving is not worth the shoddy customer service, stress and anxiety. Never again!!
Picked up a rental from this company. Car was under half full of gas. so many dents, scratches. Staff looked very disheveled and untidy. Rented through another website unfortunately. no new zealand contact numbers, these would have been helpful. Would i rent from this company again. NO!
Highly recommend North Car Rentals in Vancouver. They are friendly, have great communication and were even able to provide me rental for an additional day last when my flight was cancelled. Next time I'm in Vancouver I will be renting from North Car!
We rented from North Car Rental in Miami. They wanted to charge us $80 per day additional car insurance which they said was mandatory. We said we would just have the CDW which is included. They said there is No CDW included and we would have to pay the additional $80 per day We showed the voucher that said it’s included extra insurance is optional. So they then said we had to pay $120 because we didn’t have an international driver’s license! (We are from UK and never have paid extra before ) When the voucher says $60 payable at desk. We said we would pay the $60 it says on the voucher. We had to pay $2000 deposit. It’s was a terrible experience we are just lucky we are familiar with what we should be charged as anybody else would be really ripped off. We notified North Car customer service and they just didn’t reply or help in any way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
WORSE CAR RENTAL! NEVER BOOK WITH THEM. They have hidden fees and when you arrive there they ask you what “interest” you choose knowing damn well you DID NOT see no interest on there site. When I booked online it said NOTHING ABOUT. A deposit in the payment area it said all I had to pay was $278 for the car hire and also said NO HIDDEN FEES. yet there was a surcharge fee and HIDDEN FEES WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO GET YOUR CAR. The car was the most crustiest old car. When I selected a suzuki they gave me a bruck down Nissan that was slow the revs were high and over all a piece of s h i t. HE TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY A PRE-APPROVED $2000 DEPOSIT AND I SAID NO BECAUSE IT NEVER STATED THAT WHEN BOOKING ONLINE. THEN HE SAID HELL GIVE A DISCOUNT N PAY $1000 AGAIN I SAID NO HE THEN TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY $500 I SAID NO AGAIN. BUT SOMEHOW THEY SAID YES TO ME PAYING $200 FOR DEPOSIT DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THESE INDIANS THEY WILL TRY SCAM YOU ! LUCKY I I WENT WITH MY MOTHER OTHER WISE THEY WOULDVE RINSED HER FOR HER MONEY. WORSE PLACE EVER
Bad service. I camera to the airport en no one was there. They even didn t take the phone and i was bot known in the system!!I will never book there.
Very smooth process, great company and reliable and trustworthy service.
Great value and very accomodating,

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
