nords.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives nords.com a low trust score on the platform: 17.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: New. Suspicious. Dubious.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 17.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to nords.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the New. Suspicious. Dubious. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning nords.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between nords.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of nords.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of nords.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. nords.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether nords.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether nords.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, nords.com.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

I purchased and paid for 8 clothing items and small costume jewelry from Nords. A month later I have received none of them but was mailed a cheap fake diamond ring with an adjustable band. Scam - scam - scam - do not waste a penny. No customer service "per se". No one answered until I threatened a lawsuit which I will file for the simple personal pleasure of giving these fraudsters a run for their money, since as a litigator, the exercise will not be very expensive for me. I intend to get a judgment. Who knows, I might be able to seize a building in China just for the fun of it. Stay away; it's a scam by pathetic people.

    1. PEGGY J LONG

Dear Louise, Every thing you put in you comment is so true. I ordered from them and still had not received merchandise after thirty days. They sent me email addresses to track the packages but these numbers were not recognized by universal tracking. I e-mailed them threatening with fraud and all of a sudden their number showed one order was delivered. I never got any merchandise.

    2. Mary

May I inquire, how did your lawsuit turn out. Can we all get together & file with you?

  2. Mary Kronsted

I ordered - got the small things like gloves and fake flowers but not the clothing ordered. For the apparel they send emails saying shipped but check tracking number given and not done - AND prices went up - from $3.99 to $39.99. Luckily (?) made print out of original "acceptance" with cheap prices. Am not expecting product and not planning to pay.

  3. Karen Roberts

"If it sounds too good to be true it probably is". They claimed to be selling overstock for Nordstrom. The prices were unbelievable. I purchased 6 items for less than I would have expected to pay for any single item in the list. I woke up from a sound sleep thinking I have been scammed. I got up in the midde of the night and cancelled my credit card. I left the order intact because even if I lost the money it wasnt that much but if I was wrong and received the items, it would have been a deal That was December 9 and I still have not received them. They claim to have sent them USPS. The tracking number given does not exist. I will not spend any more time or money on this. Feel lucky to get out of this as cheaply as I did.

  4. Sandra H Morgan

Ordered many items on Jan 29th as of today March 9th, have not received any of the items...so once again I have been scammed. DO NOT buy anything from Nords.

  5. jim wheeler

i ordered a bunch of shirts and just received a womens fake diamond ring.

    1. IVA

I placed an order with NORDS in Dec 2022 and when I inquired about the shipping date I also received a fake diamond ring. I emailed them that I expected to receive the items I ordered or a full refund....to date all I have received from them is run-a-round excuses with assurances that my order is being shipped and the responses to my emails are always from a different "name" with the same email address. I am out only $55.00 but it's the scam that makes me angry.

  6. C. Harting

I ordered 3 items of clothing and am out around $23, not a great amount. I waited and was told it was on its way but after a month I checked their delivery site and it was coming from China. Then through customs, they USPS and days later I received a notice it was delivered to my mail box but when I looked in the mail box no package. When I contacted them again they said it was delivered, check the box again and the neighbors. I said forget it. If I had known at the start it would be from China I would never have ordered. Anything from China is usually a fake or you have problems like we all have had from them.

  7. Linda

My dealings with this company have been word for word as reported by other dissatisfied customers. Ordered multiple items in December, 2022, have been notified of "Delivery" three times to my office suite, which has been open with our receptionist sitting at her front desk and have still received no package as of April 10, 2023, with the last "Delivered" date being April 7, 2023. Now, their website shows as "Closed," even though I still get replies with different names to every email I send. I have wasted enough time on this and written off the $34.61 as a bad move on my part. Pat, Kayla, Violet and whoever is really at [email protected] I believe you are scam artists to the max and hope you get not one decent night's sleep.

  8. Patricia Steinle

I have had the same issues. I ordered 5 pieces of clothing for my daughter and was told itt was delivered, but it was not. They said they sent another order to replace the the first one and guess what, that did not show up either. I told them I want. a refund, but they would only give me 60%. I told them I wanted the whole amount. No reply. Don't trust website it is a rip off.

  9. Paula Vaillancourt

I was promised my order twice. Never received it. I asked for refund. They offered 60%. I said no. They offered 80%. No way. At that point it had been 3 months. I called my bank and they are investigating. It was only $44.00 but at that point it was the principal of it. Don't order from them. SCAM!.

  10. Shelly Young

I placed a order with Nords on Jan. 4th 2023, and still have not received. I have reached out to them on several occasions, and still nothing. Please do not place a order with this company. I was lied to 3 times to say that my order was mailed, and still havent received a package.

  11. Mary

I have also been scammed by this company & my story is the same as the others. They sent me a fake tracking showing that it had been delivered to my mailbox. First of all I have " informed delivery" , the post office sends me emails & pictures of every piece of mail I'm going to receive in my mailbox, including packages. On the date in question, no notice of such delivery. I'm only out $27.51 but it is fact of them trying to get over on me. I saved all of the emails starting with my order & have filed a dispute with my CC company. I also notified "Nords" of my action & that I would be letting everyone know they are scammers. Never give up! Keep at & get your money back.
