We are super happy with Nordnet. Our property in Haute Savoie runs with Ubiquiti Unifi network equipment, and we are using our firewall/gateway, which connects directly to the ONT (no need for the Nordnet router/wifi box). The price is reasonable, and the uptime is fantastic. Also, they sent a friendly, knowledgeable, and competent installer who went the extra mile to get us set up. Finding a supplier that can provide 1gbs fiber AND doesn't require using their proprietary router/wifi box was challenging. Plus, we get a cheap mobile subscription to use as a 3/4G backup. We've been customers since early 2021, Nordnet, thanks and please keep up the good work.

Fundamentally a very good fibre reception in a rural area, but as always the worth of a Company is in their service when things go wrong. It appears that if I want Tech support I have to pay for the phone call, so i phoned customer service and they couldn’t help but passed the problem over to Tech and said they will investigate and asked me to wait to be contacted. My fibre box is not receiving the signal and has a red light on “alarm”. I am now 24 hours without internet and no contact. I have tried to ring customer service 5 times and each time I get as far as wait for an advisor and the call cuts out.So I am just left to wait and wait not knowing if anything is happening.
We have moved from Calvados to Indre within France.Trying to contact Nordnet to find a satellite installer is impossible unless you pay a premium rate of .35 per minute! Why if you have a problem? Another way of making extra money at the customer's expense. It is a possibility that we will cancel our contract unless something is done soon.
An update from two weeks ago on Nordnet...once again the charming customer service team got in touch, promising to fix the issue of connection. Two weeks later, nothing....since January....what a shame. Absolute waste of time, terrible service and I am now hearing their connection is slow and unreliable...looking now into alternatives - what a disaster. Not to be trusted, not to be relied upon. What a disgrace....though they are very efficient at charging monthly...for NO SERVICE that can be used.
Quick delivery but the most difficult to install which cost lots of money and in the end you have no choice to pay as it’s impossible unless you are an ingénieur. I decided to send it back, parabol has never been used, I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THE TIP, SAVE THZ PLANET!!! Good ethic for a big company, but the best is I have to pay the equipment to be sent back considering I still in my trial period, which the lady didn’t mention so be careful! The size of the box is the size of the race bicycle so it cost a fortune! I don’t know why I went with them! Big mistake. I never leave reviews but nordnet you deserve to improve you service it’s rubbish. I don’t recommend at all as once you place the parabol they give you a year warranty and then every time you have lots of wind your satellite dish moves you have to call the ingénieur which cost you. You should go with Starlink people it’s much more easy to install! Bit more money but nothing compare to Nordnet!

J'ai fait des recherches par téléphone, par email et on m'a dit que mon récepteur satellite avait bougé, puis que c'était la faute du faisceau, puis celle du satellite. J'ai cru que la connexion par satellite serait mon sauveur. J'ai eu tort. Nous vivons dans une région isolée et je répondais que la connexion était la clé de tout. C'est un service choquant. Je suis très déçu par Nordnet. Dans ce monde moderne, il n'est pas déraisonnable d'attendre une connexion et un service décents.OK, we're now th 27th May, still no resolution but thats OK, I now have Starlink installed. Nordnet want to bill me for this month (despite no service for the whole month) but also want to bill me for a service that I have cancelled. The thing is, I wouldn't have cancelled if it was working. Contracts work both ways. Nordnet provides an internet service, I pay for that service, Nordnet fails to provide the internet service, I stop paying.... so why am I being charged a cancellation fee? If the damn service was working I wouldn't cancel...... Lets see what happens. I'm more than happy to fight this one.
Terrible service! If it were possible to put zero stars I would! I regret ever having anything to do with this company. I waited for months for their technicians to instal their dish, only to ge greeted with a several hundred euro bill to have the support made longer myself from a private enterprise,which I had to find. The service still never worked properly. Finally I gave up and cancelled the service. Months after returning their equipment by post, I am still receing demands for its return and their technicians have never returned to dismantle their dish. I t is impossible to even access their site now by email. A frustrating ,expensive and completely useless service with appaling customer care. Do not touch this company !
The internet and therefore our mailing phone goes off. Sometimes for an hour but sometimes for days at a time. The signal strength varies from 0 To 28 but to often the signal is far to low to watch a downloading film.50 years ago we could receive a reliable signal to our TVs from the moon. Sadly we have gone backwards.This service is clearly not up to our requirements.
Update - 17/10/2022 back in France trying to work again. Last week was just about OK. This morning it's dire. Virtually no upload and quel surpris, in spite of the response to my original review left around 6 weeks ago, Nordnet have not attempted to contact me. No missed calls, emails or anything else. Poor service.========================================As per another review, this service really is not fit for purpose i.e. Home working. We’re in a very small hamlet with zero chance of Fibre so have no alternative. I use Microsoft Teams for all my work meetings. Even with video switched off the satellite service is barely adequate for 1-2-1 meetings with a huge latency which my colleagues find very dificult.I have tried Customer Services and to be fair, they were supportive and did provide an English speaking advisor (I can just about manage in French but tech issues are a step to far for now) but, they can’t fix a service which is fundamentally not fit for purpose. We only got the Satellite kit & contract as our 4G signal is unreliable (as confirmed by OrangeFR) and our property has very thick solid walls which don’t help. However, the satellite service is often worse and far more expensive.I’ve resigned myself to this poor service and am fortunate that so far, my employer has been quite tolerant. I have looked at SkyDSL as an alternative for when this contract ends next January. Not convinced that their service will be any better. It’s expensive to buy their kit, install it and then pay around twice as much as Nordnet. Stuck between a rock & a hard place just hoping that Nordnet will find a solution that does truly support home working.
I was entertaining using Nordnet as my internet/landline provider through Selectra. Selectra assured me they had English speaking support, they do not. Nordnet wanted me to confirm, over the phone to set up the fibre service. I do not speak French, so I sent them a letter to cancel. They had already taken out 64 euros for the router, which I never received. To set up fibre, they quoted me 10 weeks, far to long, Orange did it in 3 weeks. I've written letter, after letter to get my money refunded, and after 2 months, still haven't had a response. Selectra, who prematurely paid over my money, also won't help. Stay clear of these dishonest telecom companies, stick with Orange, it will end up much cheaper, and more reliable. Also avoid SFR, the worst of the bunch.
I bought this for working from home - a key Nordnet selling point - but it does not work with either Teams or Zoom (the definition of remote working in my case) - my voice is unintelligible to others. I also need it for large downloads - but these inevitably and get terminated before completion. A complete waste of time and am locked into a 2 year contract. They confirmed they would allow me to terminate the contract but want me to pay the balance of the entire 2 years to do so! This just adds insult to injury.Addendum: Despite what they say below, I spent many hours talking with their tech support before they finally let me know what they had known all along that – there are major issues around Zoom/Teams audio and no timeline for resolving the issue.
I am deeply saddened to be writing this because I hate thinking that this is the only way to get attention. We have had Nordnet VHF internet connection, when it works it's good. BUT then it stops and goes off for DAYS and there is no way of contacting nordnet - they are just not interested in being contacted. I have tried online, I have sent emails and even resorted to Facebook to try and see if the marketing team can get a message. We have been down for a week now, we might have to go to a hotel in order to work! when people leave you in the pooh and do not care, it would be better not to have the service in the 1st place. if you are at Nordnet please get us back online
I requested a wifi 6 box nearly 4 weeks ago. After having to deal with the appalling customer service on their chat with no success somebody finally rang me to tell me what is happening. Turns out that they couldn’t tell me when the. Ox would be sent out due to a problem with their billing system! How can an organise like Nordnet have a billing system down for weeks on end! Sorry - I don’t believe a word they said, and if I had a choice, I’d drop them like a hot rock…. But I don’t so until that time, I just have to put up with the rubbish the feed me. Oh, as an aside, oddly enough they can bill me for my service… strange that seeing their billing system is supposedly down. Thanks
We have no fiber at our house in Normandy. 4G is not reliable at our location. I had Nordnet installed, because video conferences are my bread and butter. The result is terrible. Zoom - Teams video conferences don't work at all. Nordnet technical service told me that they know about the problems since August 2022 and they don't know when they will be able to solve the video conference issue. Security cameras don't work either. The system is completely useless and because of that I was forced to put my subscription on hold for 6 months (despite being on hold they continue to charge me for the rental of the accessory equipment). Nordnet contacted me for the first time, AFTER I posted this review but they refuse to address the problems.I know understand why 42% of the +2000 Nordnet experience comments on this site carry 1 or 2 stars only. Nordnet is owned by the Orange Group.Today Nordnet told me that that video conferencing is not compatible with its satelite internet service and the fail to understand how someone could have sold this service to me.They also told me that cancelling the service (even if it doesn’t work) will cause me to have to pay 100’s of euros of penalties. We have been customers of Nordnet's Supernova satellite internet service for several years. In December 2021 I opted to upgrade to the Neosat service. The kit arrived quickly, but the satellite dish has still not been installed. After nearly 6 months! Once, in March, a technician came to fit it, but left after 5 minutes because it was raining. In the meantime, the original Supernova service cut out on 24 February and absolutely nothing has been done to fix this. We have therefore not had satellite internet for over 3 months. I have been given about 70GB of phone data to use, but mobile reception is poor in this area, so this is worth very little.I have reported my problems to Nordnet customer services many times, but nothing has happened. I have recently threatened (months too late) to cancel my contract if the service isn't installed and working within two weeks. The two weeks are nearly up.Worse, perhaps, the company that Nordnet use to install satellite dishes seem to have told them that I have cancelled 3 appointments for the dish to be fitted.This is completely untrue. They have never attempted to arrange a date and except for the brief meeting in March (mentioned above) this company has not contacted me at all. I am appalled by this.
I recently had my satellite dish installed and was asked by the installer for some "notes" i.e. money. When I told him, I didn't have any, he sat in his van in our driveway in intimidating fashion before finally leaving. Since then the internet works intermittently and when contacting customer service, theycan never answer you but transfer you to another service which is never answered. My customer account portal 'lost' my contract, so to activate my mobile sim card or transfer my telephone number is now impossible. I'm seriously thinking to cancel this service and go back to my 'very slow orange adsl' which at least was more reliable.After receiving an encouraging reply from Nordnet today 25/03/24 , I also received an email from their customer service team to say that the transfer of my landline number from Orange to Nordnet had been completed and my mobile number will be available tomorrow. Except it’s not. I contacted them again several times but no reply on the matter. Also I was told in the same message that someone would be contacting me with regards to my customer portal, but again nothing. Hopefully it will be resolved soon as Orange also notified me that they will be terminating my contract, so potentially I could lose my landline and mobile service. Is Nordnet really on top of things?
