nordea.no Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives nordea.no a medium trust score on the platform: 62.7. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 62.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to nordea.no's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning nordea.no, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between nordea.no and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of nordea.no. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of nordea.no, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. nordea.no is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether nordea.no has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether nordea.no boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, nordea.no.

Dreadful - hopeless waiting times!
Worst customer service ever. Nothing can be solved online or via mobile app or direct email and you need to contact them via phone for everything. Their lines are never answered and you can expect to wait at least 2 hours on the phone, with no option to be called back even when your call just ends. Also they offer their own Nordea ID which is not really anything secure or even trusted by them, because to even sign documents with them you need Bank ID. So if you need Bank ID, do not bother banking with them, as they are useless and your life will be hell without Bank ID. Seriously the worst banking experience I have ever had.
Completely unacceptable customer service.2 times I’ve been to a branch office clearly meant for dozens of employees to find a locked door and only 1 agent working. Appointments are a minimum of a week out to do virtually anything.I won’t be using this account. I’d rather keep cash in a mattress.
Worst experience in my life. Just tried to open an bank account! The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful, just tried all the time to send me away. First they want to have an id kort. Weeks after I got it, they want to have a statement from my german bank, that all the money is legal!!! Crazy people, crazy bank. After that treatment they have thrown me out of the bank.
Worst bank ever. I have to wait more than 1 month for an user ID which will be sent by mail, but I never come. To contact call center, I need to wait at least 20 min. Even for the bank account number you have to wait at least 1 week to have an appointment and then another 2 weeks to receive Pin code. After that, you log in to the Net bank to get your bank account number. It’s just bank account number.
Stay away from this bank especially if looking for a housing loan. Gave very poor advice and ended up costing me thousands more than I agreed to after only a couple of months.Complained and was assured I would be reimbursed within 2 days. A month later they wiggled their way out and never settled the matter. Will be switching banks asap. They also regularly shut down cards and accounts for entire weekends to carry out maintenance, so you have to plan in advance how you will do without like some bank from the 1950s. Never experienced anything like it with any other bank elsewhere.
I had been a Nordea customer and due to that, recommended it to some family members. They waited for their internet access codes for over a month, and they never arrived. Bank cards were supposed to be mailed home but instead were distributed in different branches, and the customers were not informed of this. Closest branch is so short-handed that it takes up to hours to see a customer service agent. The bank no longer accepts cash in any form. Cash withdrawals from accounts are possible only at one location in the entire Helsinki area. Customer service agents are close to impossible to get in touch with.Is this bank trying to get rid of casual customers?
They don’t even deserve that one star !Their customer service phone number give you a a time , like “you call will be answered in 5 mins “ and you might if you’re lucky , someone might answer the phone 80 minutes later. Way more than an hour ! They have been told about this many times and it’s like they don’t give a damn. And it’s regarding money that they are holding on to for no reason - gaining my interest and if they do this to a couple of thousand customers a day it adds up to them just making more money. This is terrible service ( cant even call it service) If this i what they think is good then they don’t deserve the customers !I’ve come back to edit this review just to tell you I’m still holding at 92 minutes - unreal
Head of Responsible Investment in Nordea gets caught seemingly lying in the media, attempting to drag down another company, then suddenly decides to go mute when he gets caught. When this is a person with "Head of Responsible" in his Nordea role, I am starting to question my status as a customer with the bank.
Well, I live in Denmark but still am a customer in Nordea.no, from I lived in Norway. I tried to call their postulated customer support to have a problem solved. That was impossible. When the waiting time was said to be 38 minutes, nothing happened after an hour. When I tried to press 1 to make them call me back, when it was my turn, also nothing happened. Because I have to have my problem solved I have now written them an oldfashhioned paper letter. My plan C is to send them a Runic Stone, if the letter doesn*t work either. Probably they are so undermanned, that nobody will notice its arrival either. . .? Plan D will be to visit them personally and make a happening of it!
Hi everybody!Do not trust the bad reviews here. Most of them are made from expats in Norway, and they complain about the bank ID which takes long to arrive. Fact is, it doesn’t depend on the bank for the bank ID. In Norway, the bank ID is the equivalent of a social security number, and the bank has to wait for the SSN to be controlled and produced by other public institutions, such as the municipality and police stations. If you look, for example, at things that ONLY depend on the bank, such as a new credit card, they’re extremely fast, and most often send it out the very same day that the card is requested.Talking about the bank, it’s been 8 years I’m with Nordea, and I would never change bank. Their site is not extremely user friendly, but works very well, and the phone app is super user friendly and has a lot of different functions. The best part is the costumer service. They have a chat option that is definitely worth the wait (sometimes 0 minutes, some other times 45 minutes). The costumer service is great. Everybody speaks E glish, and they always helped me with everything. Like literally, everything. Need to take out of a fund some money you invested? They rxplain how and how long. Have a question concerning savings? Boom, solved. It’s clearly humans behind the screen, and nice one. I never had a complain towards Nordea both as a bank and has a group of nice humans behind the screen. Never seen a costumer service so effective and nice, in any other bank or platform. Would definitely recommend!Keep it guys!Jacopo
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK: ::WORST OF THE WORST::: ALMOST 2 MONTHS WITHOUT BRIK CODE: ::ONE MONTH WITHOUT BANK CARD:::I DIDN'T GET PAID 2 MONTHS BECAUSE OF THEM::::AND STILL DOESN'T WORK::::PEOPLE BRAIN DEAD:::I SEEN STUPID PEOPLE IN MY LIFE TIME:::BUT THOSE FROM NORWAY ARE ON THE FIRST PLACE ::::
been waiting on chat support for over 2 hours..... also they log you out if you are inactive for more than 5 mins .... worst customer service ever
If I could give you 0 stars I would!!!!I have been waiting 1,5 month for my bank code and I have called you 4 times and you have “tried” to send the code every time. You know you have the right address because you send me post every month! Now I just called you again because I still haven’t got my code and I cannot by food or gas for my car! And then you choose to hang up!!!! I have never experienced worse customer service than from Nordea Norge.I changing bank first thing tomorrow!
Worst bank I have ever come across. No communication - It has taken 3 months just to open an account. Please note I already have a bank account in Nordea Denmark, but apparently they are not connected or at least not yet. They say they will call back, but they never do (waiting in the phone for 30 min every time, just to be told they will call you back).Last week I finally had to go to the bank to sign some papers. They scheduled a meeting at 11:30, but when I arrived they said the banker was at lunch - Unacceptable! On top of that receptionist asked for my signature and told me they will contact me when things are ready. Just called back to hear about the status, since I haven't heard from them. Were told that I was a no show for the meeting. What is this? completely inacceptable way to run a bank and I recommend everyone to stay very far away from this bank!!!Note - Nordea Denmark is a completely different experience. Fully professional and everything handled in a timely manner.
First of all they blocked my card without explaining why.Second, they sending me a new one now 2 weeks, still dont have it!
Love the app, and great customer service!!
Been with them for many years. Good services.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
