Is nomado.co.uk Legit?

AVOID...scam site. I wish I had read these reviews before. It's awful that people like this are scamming new parents.Item arrived:No informationNo confirmation of orderDamaged boxItem its unbranded and fakeNOT UK SITE FROM CHINA.

Requested cancellation of my order within 2 hours to be told its already been shipped... the money had not left my bank and I didn't receive shipping information until over 30 hours after my original request. Raised this with fraud at my bank and trading standards. Customer service was a disgrace and have been advised by my bank to refuse delivery. AVOID, wish I had read more about the company before ordering as a very tired new mum. Lesson learnt

Only 2 months after purchasing the monitor screen broke. Contact with customer support has been slow and minimal. 6 weeks after first contacting them about the issue we are still waiting for a response for our in warranty monitor. We have had no response from them following confirmation that the video they requested was sent to their engineers to look at, despite 2 further follow up emails and a lot of patience.

Do not purchase this monitor. It might look great on the website, and whilst it worked ok initially, our monitor stopped working after a few months and the customer support since has been horrendous.Their first response was quite quick but then it went down hill . I sent a video of the monitor as proof it wasn't working as requested, but two weeks went by with no response despite me chasing. They finally came back and said we (the customer) need to send it to a Chinese address for repair and pay for the delivery costs ourselves.Clearly we're not going to do that, so have just written this off as a bad purchase.Also note, they have zero social media presence, as clearly they would be inundated with comments and tags on how bad they are. I think that says it all.Do not purchase from them.

It is worth mentioning that I found that this monitor is also excellent in caring for the elderly. With Nomado monitor, I can observe the living conditions of the elderly at any time to ensure their safety. Whether it is their getting up, eating or resting time, I can get instant feedback through the screen, which makes me feel very safe far away.

Wish I had read all the previous reviews before I ordered!Item comes from china and basically you aren’t able to return it if not satisfied without it costing and arm and a leg (also they won’t refund the full amount). Buy from a legit known brand and not these bandits

Awful product and even worse customer services. We needed to return this item and contacted the company within prescribed timescales. The emails we got back were that we need to send to China at our own cost, including tax and a 15% charge. It was also noted that if a return was refused then the product would not be returned to us. There is no change to this stance after emailing them and a stock response is always provided and that it is 'a hassle to return'. Reported to Trading Standards. I would avoid using this company and deal with a reputable company and brand. There are many better products available for cheaper and without the huge risks. Looking at the positive reviews on here, it is highly suspicions that they were also written by Nomado as they do not generally make sense, or read as a Human being would write a product review.

This baby monitor has given me such peace of mind as a new parent. Being able to see and hear my baby, even when I'm not in the room, is relaxed!

This is a scam.They are importing cheap plastics from China, as demonstrated in other reviews. I asked to cancel my order and although I was refunded, they deducted a “shipping price” and proceeded to send me a falsified shipping label to justify it.AVOID!

Since I have this baby monitor, I can finally sleep well with peace of mind. Whenever the baby makes a small movement or cries, I can know it immediately. It is really an intimate assistant.

Nomado baby monitor has clear picture quality and captures details very well. I can clearly see every little movement of the baby, even the small expression on his face.

Please could someone give me a different contact number as they are not responding to me after 5 emails and 5 days since initial email. Very unhappy indeed !

The baby monitor arrived but there is no Nomado branding in the camera/box/manual . The box has BABY MONITOR SM70PTZ printed on it and if you look that model up it is sold for many companies, not unique to Nomado as it states on its website and more importantly, about £50-£60 pounds cheaper!

SCAM!! The company are selling a baby monitor which you can get from Temu / Ali Express and other cheap Chinese goods websites for more than double the price. This is not their own product. The company website is full of lies about their research into making a good baby monitor. The monitor is not branded when it arrives - it instead has a random reference number which, if you type into google, will just take you to Ali Express. The company are also awful to deal with. I’ve been in a back and forth via email for over a week explaining that I want to return the product however they continuously respond by saying there’s nothing wrong with the product and asking if I’m sure I really want a refund since the process is complex. I only have a few weeks before my due date and the frustration this company has caused is unforgivable. I have genuinely never dealt with such terrible customer service in my life!

Still waiting on a solution 2 months later. My monitor has terrible static interference when I turn up the sound. I cannot hear anything other than staticI wrote to the customer support 2 months ago and received responses suggesting to move the monitor to different locations. I did this and the static is still there. They then suggested to try it out side, I did and it is still there. I have since moved to a new house in a new city and tried all of these different suggestions and the issue remains. After numerous emails and no solution, they have not responded to my request for a new monitor nor a refund. This company is terrible and I would not recommend purchasing anything from them.

The clear video and features like temperature monitoring make it super easy to use. Plus, with cry and motion detection, it's been a lifesaver for us as parents, It absolutely 100% worth the money.

The material of Nomado baby monitor feels very textured and has no odor. It will not affect the baby’s health, which makes me trust this brand very much.

Avoid at all costs! the worst customer service who hardly speak any English! You can’t return the product as you have to pay shipping back to china and any taxes and duty.They don’t even send you what you have purchased, I ordered a nomado camera but they sent a baby sense one, when questioned you get the same response that their products are quality and it’s ok.A complete scam save your money and do not buy!

When I encountered something I didn’t understand after the purchase, the customer service staff helped me solve it very patiently. This kind of considerate after-sales service makes me feel very relieved and warm.

The battery on this baby monitor lasts for hours! I don't have to worry about it dying in the middle of the night, which is very useful.
