I have owned a 2018 Versa and a 2022 Sentra. I am done with Nissan ! Forever !! I was done with them after the Versa and their horrible CVT Transmission. Supply of vehicles was very bad during COVID and my wife needed a new Car. I wanted to buy her a Corolla but couldn't find one so settled for a Sentra. Sentra has been nothing but problems many of them electrical and the dealership fights you every step of the way on fixing them. Car also had a recall for tie rods ends with no fix ! This company is unbelievable ! Done done done with Nissan !
Nissan Juke 20161. ac is blowing warm air after the most recent service.2. last service i had issue with car remote and was told that they replaced the battery but seems like it didn't solve the issue and they cant do anything about it. I replaced the battery again at home at it solved it.3. i have tyre gauge prompt in my dash lighting up. the service team thankfully checked the tyre pressure and was told not to worry and ignore the light as they cant seem to remove it. i tried pressing buttons around after using dr google and the light got cleared. you'd expect that being a nissan service centre, they would have known better and at least put in effort to resolve issues but they seem not bothered that much.4. for the last 2 services, the simple process of resetting the "km-to-go" before the next service is due is not done so it seemed like im always over it but in reality its not. yes i know its a small thing but its recurring and shouldn't there be a checklist to follow so such small thing will be taken care of? makes me doubt if the checks that they said they're doing during services is actually done properly.very poor quality of service and disappointing.
Nissan UK Customer Service seem to be overwhelmed. My car broke down a month ago, is covered by warranty but not heard anything for over 3 weeks. No calls or emails acknowledged, no updates, case has been 'escalated' but still no response and seems there is no one in Nissan to complain to or who cares. Very poor customer service.
I bought a new Nissan Qashqai and have had this car for less than 3 years. I was out shopping and when I was ready to drive home and tried to start my car the display screen told me that my key could not be found. The day before it warned me that the key battery was low so I assumed the car key battery had died. I tried multiple times to start the car whilst holding the key against the start button on the car. Although the car made one or two strange sounds it never did start and appeared to totally shut down. I then went off to find a shop where I could buy a new battery for my key fob and replaced the battery with the new one. Unfortunately when I returned to my car I found that this did not fix the problem and the car would still not respond when I tried to start it. I then phoned the local Nissan dealer to ask advise and was advised to phone the RAC, I did this and was told they were busy but would get there ASAP. 5 hours later at 10pm they turned up and the RAC guy was excellent, he immediately guest that the problem was the main car battery had died. After doing some tests his equipment confirmed that the car battery had died and needed replaced. I was very disappointed to find that my car battery had died and needed replaced after less than 3 years of use. It was also extremely annoying that the car display screen advised me that the problem was the key battery. Another annoying element of this experience was that at the time I tried to start the car I had 2 of my windows open and was unable to close them due to the fault. This meant that I had to sit in my car from 5pm until 10:40pm during a very cold night.
Whoever tell me something I'm planning to love Nissan brand during the whole life not only because me myself had at least 3 Nissan cars, but also because this Japanese brand is number one according to some ratings. It doesn't even matter which car type you prefer hatchback, crossover, sedan - whatever. If you buy something from this brand you should be convinced of the complete safety, durability and quality.
Bought Navara pickup from Nissan dealer. Garage aware of known DPF fault which was not identified to me at purchase. Travel cost of repairs now standing at £2000 after 4 return trips from Shetland to Aberdeen. Dealer contacted on several occasions where I have been informed, it was my doing for buying said vehicle with defect and it was not up to them to inform me prior to sale of any faults. In short, beware, Nissan will sell you vehicles with faults and if you don`t discover them, tough luck. Stay well clear.
Would not recommend Nissan to anyone considering! We purchased our pathfinder 8.5 years ago, and during this time, we have faced issues with the transmission, engine, and many more. The cumulative cost of repairs has amounted to between $20,000 and $25,000, a significant sum considering the initial purchase price of the car wasnt too far off that price when it was brand new. To exacerbate matters further, we have been informed that an additional cost of approximately $10,000 is required for further repairs on the car (with no guarantee that it will resolve the issue). Customer service has also been extremely poor. There is a real failure on the part of the company to uphold its advertised product and service standards.
I purchased nissam magenite xv only 6000km run but each and everytime i m facing the issue. Now music system not working android system not work rear camera not work on back gear, wiper fog not working. Side window not working. It meams wrost of money.when i call they told visit to service center but this is not fair that people visit again and again
Took my car to Eltham Nissan, They tried to charge 1500 for simply changing one coil pack. In the same bill they tried to charge me 687.00 to replace the front brakes and disc, and another 687 for the rear brake pads and disc giving me a bill of over 2500. Of course I went off, the service department was rude and not customer friendly. I explained that I already know that it cost just over 400 for a complete set of brake both front and back, and 78 for the coil, so please justify 2500. In the end, the service manager came and solved the problem. Please be careful when taking your cars to be serviced, they prey on people not knowing anything about cars.
I purchased an approved Nissan X-Trail - low milage with full service history. In 23 months I have been unable to use for three of those due to failed clutch and then turbo. Local Nissan dealer advised I may get good will payment for replacement turbo but after nearly three weeks of no response I took it to specialist mechanic, highly recommended, only then did Nissan respond to say they could do nothing as no longer with one of their approved dealers. Do not by their second hand cars - not fit for purpose.
We have had 3 Nissan Murano’s over the last 10 years worth $150k and I would never recommend this to anyone because having to deal with the finance department is actually a joke. The latest one we have had a balloon payment of 15k and they refused to let us pay in payments instead not answering our calls or emails. Through the covid period they wanted to repossess it and giving us replies of you don’t meet criteria?? But happy to take payments monthly prior to this. All arrogant people who don’t want to deal with your complaints either!
The ‘Nissan promise’ is, sadly, plain untrue. My new Nissan Qashqai has been with Nissan for 11 days now. It is undrivable (power steering failure), but because I managed to get it to the Nissan garage without calling Nissan Assist (I happened to be near the garage!) they have point blank refused to give me a courtesy car because I didn’t ‘follow procedure’. I am now renting a car from Hertz entirely at my own expense. Not only will I never buy a Nissan again (obviously) I will actively be a negative marketer for all things Nissan for the rest of my life (obviously). Well done Nissan, you saved a little money by stiffing me! 🙄
Terrible customer service. My 2016 Titan XD is broken from the factory! Climate control and drivability issues that are obvious but Nissan is just plain lazy!!!They see the problems but refuse to address them. The Dealer Technical Specialist(whatever that is)is like a chimpanzee on a football. No codes given by OBD equals no problems say chimps. Stay away from Nissan
Bought a used Nissan rogue from Boniface Hiers in Melbourne, FL. A year later the transmission is acting up. Looked it up and there was an issue and a lawsuit against Nissan regarding this in the rogue. Bought the warranty and was told by the dealer they don't work on Nissan. Recieved a letter from Nissan saying if its less than 4 years or 10,000 moles they would cover, knowing full well its a 2016. I would NEVER vuy a Nissan again. This is going to cost me an additional $6000 now. Avoid Boniface Hiers a d Nissan. Both are terrible companies
Nissan Canada is a terrible Company. Absolutely zero customer care. Head Office is a mangled mess. No one is running the business. Completely out of touch with their customers, they have out sourced their customer care dept. to a telemarketing firm that knows nothing about cars or Nissans. Concentrix handles customers complaints. Then they do nothing. No one at Nissan HO gives a hoot about the consumers. Nissan senior management has their heads buried in sand and only care about their bonuses. Never, never buy any Nissan product. If you own one now get rid of it fast.
Like any other car-company they have their flaws (Mainly on the mechanics trying to make a little extra on the client's expense... Sadly i'm yet to encounter any car brand without a few of them) - But if one is smart enough to avoid those few the rest is 5 stars.
In under four years and of course the car was just out of warranty the air con packed up (£800 to repair due to a design fault) and then the battery, common faults Nissan know about but choose to ignore! Terrible customer service once bitten! I will never buy Nissan again buyer beware!
I've had Nissan Altima 2006 with a transmission problem, now I have Nissan Sentra 2015 also with a transmission problem, I think I've learned my lesson this time.Google "Nissan with transmission problems", and you will see how many complains, you'll also find lawsuits.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, there are plenty of good options out there with reliable cars.
I bought a Nissan Pathfinder for off-road use. What I'll say is that it would be good but fr a few small things. For instance, the tyres it comes with are terrible Dunlops that just can't get traction off-road. Also, the alloy wheels are way too fancy and you can't opt out of them. Lastly, the front number and read bumper are so low that it really decreases the vehicles ability to attack any kind of steep inclines or declines without damaging the vehicle. Other than that the engine and drive train seem to be as good as any Nissan I've own before. The interior is nice although I couldn't imagine choosing the white leather option cause of my young kids. My only wish is that Nissan do this car in the Pro4x mode so we can get rid of the on-road junk and get some real capability.
It seems ever since the alliance with renault quality has dropped.My nissan titan pickup truck destroyed its front differential 10 K after warranty expired. fixed that my self then rear seals started leaking on to rear pads. during a snowstorm the truck lowered its electic windows and i had an igllo to sit in on the way to work!so no more Nissan products back to honda toyota for me.

“Concord nissan tryed offering $3000 less!”

Hi all brought my truck into Concord Nissan for a trade in and the sales director of operations offered me 3000 less than what my truck is actually worth! Anyways I try to get solutions online and by phone from nissan to no avail and they and they dismiss me every time! I will never buy from them again because of their scandalous business practices! Dont get me started on their service department!

“This place is crooked”

Do not buy from here and if you do, be prepared when getting any service done to pay for unnecessary work, especially if your a woman. They will tell you it's part of the requirements for your warranty to have the work done but it will be untrue and unnecessary. A new car with ******* miles doesn't need the brake lines flushed and can't be dirty at that point. AVOID this place.

I came to the dealership with the model of car I wanted and my one budget. I was greeted and the salesman was professional. I had no pressure regarding my credit worthiness. I am highly satisfied with the basic skills to close a deal. I have purchased many cars. Today, I feel that G. W., Customer Relations Manager, sells a high volume of cars. The follow up calls from Sasha and Tasha to come in to the dealership was top notch service as well. I love the whole experience at your dealership!

“Nasty Nissan”

Nissan has their customer service office in Franklin TN. Don' call those clowns if you have a problem with a Nissan car. All they do is play silly games with you and if you persist in contacting them, they drag out the dragon lady named Courtney to really tee you off. Please know, Nissan has no customer service office. The cars they produce aren't that great. I got a new Rogue around the first of this year and already there is a recall on it. Honestly, there is no customer service for Nissan. All their Franklin TN people do is play games with you while they consult their attorneys to see if they have to do anything about your complaint. They have other offices all over the US so if you have been unfortunate enough to have bought a Nissan, complaint to their other offices when you have problems. Don't play their stupid games.

We were at Kiefer Nissan of Corvallis. Our Sales person was Richard Fries and he was awesome, he went out of his way to see that we were treated with respect. It was 97 degrees that day and he did not complain, he stuck with us he whole time, he did not wander off or try to help others, he stuck with us. He tied everything to make sure we were as comfortable as we could be considering the weather. Then there was the General manager/Finance manager, Ken he was also awesome, this is the second car we purchased with Ken being the one that did all the paper work, he also did not complain about the weather being 97 degrees. “Nissan Murano 2017 radar safety system”

We purchased the Nissan becuse of the safety system's and when we took it back to the dealer for oil changes in the first and second year of owning the new car we experienced a warning light coming on for the front radar. We asked Bomareno Nissan of St. Louis to investigate when he had the can in for service but they always said everything is ok. But the first time we took it back after the warranty time ran out but not the malage the dealership stated the front radar has failed and the to change it it would cost $1,700. And to make matters worse he state this happens a lot. I belive Nissan has a problem with their radar. I have sent this message to St Louis Bomareno Nissan but no reply. Service Value Quality

“Stay away from this compagny”

My car have *******km and 1 year. We see many spot of rust on the side of the door and the trunck. When we drive at 110 km/h and the we have average wind, a big sound from the passager window. The dealer said all is normal. The rust is normal and all car do that. I will call nissan canada but I dont think tghey will make something for me... very disappointed.

“Inspection harassment”

I have been scheduled for an inspection on the 15th of February 2022 between 1200 and 1700. I waited the whole time for the inspector which did not show up nor called to notify me. I called Nissan Inspection and they told me that someone is going to call me. Someone's name John - phone number *******088 - called me after half an hour and told me that the inspection has been scheduled, but it did not go through the system. He said that he is going to schedule another inspection the next day, 16 February 2022 between 0800 and 1000, and if the inspector did not show up by 0900, the inspector is going to call me and let me know. John says that he is going to monitor this closely and notify me of any changes. The next day, 16 February 2022, the inspector did not show up. At 0910, I called John (and I am not sure if this is his real name) twice, but he did not pick up the phone. I called Nissan inspection and they told me that the inspection has been scheduled between 1000 and 1200. This is a lot of time-wasting. Products used:Still pending Service
