Is nisbets.com Legit?

Ordered items that were in stock for next day delivery. Out of 4 boxes only 1 arrived. The excuse was that 1 box left the warehouse at 9pm & the others at 11pm so despite them being picked by 1 person they went separately? They would've arrived well in time for delivery yet Parcelforce couldn't deliver?

Ordered a Nespresso coffee machine online as it was £50 cheaper than Amazon, also 100 Dualit coffee pods as well. The machine came within 48hrs, the pods 48hrs after that, I was kept in touch by email all the way through and I also spoke to customer services who were very friendly, helpful and confirmed the delivery times. Nisbets customer service cannot be faulted.

Travelled into Dublin’s Moore St. from the outer suburbs to purchase white cotton waiter’s gloves as advertised on website. My first time in the shop. Security guy, before I’d finished asking question, shouted “Desk ! Desk ! “ violently gesturing. After a ten minute delay , told by ‘sales lady’ - “No ! we haven’t gor dem !”Me, never again.

Orders seem to go missing regularly. They charge courier fees and then take longer than AusPost to deliver. Trying to chase up orders or get a refund is impossible. You'd have more luck trying to bottle fairies. When you finally get hold of someone, they just make excuses (most of them completely unbelievable). Emails only get an auto-reponse. Contact them on social media and there's no response at all. This is one of the worst companies ever and they are making a joke out of "support local" and "buy Australian" efforts. Don't waste your time

Had an amazing experience with Nisbets, particularly Shannon's Custer service. I had to buy a chefs jacket at very short notice and couldn't pick it up during trading hours. Shannon went out of her way to ensure I got it in time. Very impressed.

It was nice and easy to place the order, but when i changed my mind the order was cancelled and money refunded immediately. Very good customer service and a nice, user friendly website

Do not believe anything they promise you on the website or the customer services say about delivery I appreciate times are difficult But any larger items are shipped out to another company who are not contactable then closed as if delivered So who knows when items will arrive To add insult to injury you get a phone call when they promised delivery to ask you about the service Well done nesbitts

Don't buy small items from Nisbets, because although they - in this case - were very speedy, they apparently care nothing for the environment. My items could have fitted into a small padded envelope, but came instead in an absurdly large cardboard box, perched on top of polythene puff bags. This wastes lorry space, as well as making the customer wait in for a delivery which could easily have fitted through the letterbox.

I have bought their wonder dry cotton tea towels for decades literally, ever excellent, but they have changed the makeup from 100% cotton to poly cotton (75% cotton, 25% polyester) which is like drying something with a plastic bag, it just moves the water around. Will have to use as dusters and have re-ordered from another company that sells genuine 100% cotton wonder dry. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Superb service for speed, quality and helpfulness. Had cause to deal with customer service who couldn’t be more helpful pleasant and sorted out the issue within 24 hours. Huge range of products for individuals or businesses.

I ordered a table it showed stock took my Money then 4 days later out the blue a full refund - no communication or alternative offered as the item is discontinued now apparently but is still available on the website now.Very poor - wouldn’t trust there website again

Yet another online company selling items without having them in stock. Nothing on the site to say not in stock.More and more of this happening, I understand because of COVID it's hard to get stock from overseas, but at least be honest with your customers about it.

2 years ago I bought an Imperia Pasta Making Machine from this company via Amazon. Two weeks ago a part broke and I contacted Nisbets, via the Amazon site, reminding them that it had a 5 year guarantee and sending photos of the product and guarantee as indicated on the box. Within a couple of hours Joe from Nisbets contacted me with an apology for the inconvenience of the broken part and saying a prepaid label would be emailed to me for the return of the product. I received this within minutes; returned the machine the same day and provided a scan of the postage receipt. Again, within an hour I received acknowledgement from Nisbets that a new machine was now on its way to me via 24 hour tracked Parcel Force. I received the new machine the following day. I really cannot fault them. Brilliant customer service and wholly customer orientated. I do believe that stuff happens but what is important is how a company takes responsibility and deals with it. My experience tells me this company is very committed to customer satisfaction and I would recommend them. Thank you Nisbets!

THIS COMPANY IS BREAKING THE LAW IN AUSTRALIAThey sell substandard faulty catering equipment and kitchen products which arrive faulty. When you request a refund they give you a store credit but refuse to pay for shipping

Please do not buy anything from this store. I bought fridge 1 month ago, still not delivered. There is a hidden cost to get delivery in building above level 1. Customer service is 0/10. Chris, the manager, in Auckland, New Zealand is not at all helpful.

Been waiting two Months for an order and was told will take another month. No way, waiting three months and needed them for events. Customer service lady was nice and showed empathy but yeah had to cancel order.

Absolutely first class service, couldn’t believe the speed, ordered around 6pm and on my doorstep next morning.Thank you Nisbets, I will come back and highly recommend you to others.

I am loathed to have to do this butDo not buy from this company .Placed an order with them on 10th November (ref uk 14415192) based on a 7-10day delivery period,after the 10 days,I contacted them to be told that delivery would be 5th Dec,rang today to be told that they don’t deliver to direct from manufacture to my address (despite taking my order and money on November) unable to confirm delivery as we speak ,

Ordered items, some were poor quality and so arranged a return for the following day, labelled the box and waited 3 days for collection. When I called them to enquire about my refund they told me that I will not get a refund until the box is back at their warehouse. I tried to explain that the box will be left outside the house as I need to go away after 3 days of waiting. I was informed, its my risk if the box does not get returned. I will not deal with them again.
