Is newbieandme.co.uk Legit?

I went into newbie and me with a tear in my changing bag, they were extremely prompt with sending it back when I received it after the repair I was unhappy with it. The staff at newbie were fantastic and agreed the quality of the repair was not good enough. They sent it back and I received a new one. The staff were very good throughout and very informative.

Really lovely experience at the Leeds branch. Our sales advisor Katie spent so much time showing us the features of each pram we were interested in. She did not rush us and really helped to find the best fit. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back.

Anita was amazing from start to finish. I didn’t know where to start when buying baby stuff, but she guided me all the way and made it such a special and easy experience. Terrible company to deal with, customer service is non existent. Ordered a stroller in store in Leeds, was meant to be delivered a week later, but it wasn't. Couldn't get in touch with anyone from Newbie & Me via phone, or email, left numerous voicemails (as calls are sent straight to a voicemail) and never heard back. 2 weeks later we got a phone call saying it was available to be picked up in store, despite us ordering for delivery, no apology or anything, just a please pick it up. We asked about getting it delivered, but they said they would have to send it back, and then get it sent back out again to us directly. Since they couldn't be trusted to do that in the first place, we didn't want to risk it again.Avoid this place, their prices are the same as others online (or the manufacturers) even during the sales.

Great experience at the Shirley Newbie and Me store - thank you David for being so knowledgeable and quick to sort us out after we had tried a couple of shops elsewhere with no success. A good range of items to look at and helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff!

This is the best place to go for all your baby needs. We’ve bought 3 prams from this place now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Staff always really friendly and helpful and prices are always good.

After having problems with the silver cross pushchair I purchased, Aneesha couldn’t of helped me out more if she tried! DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANYIt is operating illegally and has many complaints made against it to the financial ombudsman for illegal terms and conditions. Read the 1 star reviews, they all say the same thing. The staff talk the talk to get you to buy, and leave a 5 star review straight away, but then the aftercare and management is extremely poor, they don't deliver on time, when you ask for a refund because you have to go elsewhere they refuse and then fabricate the truth about what was said on the phone and instore. They must think people are stupid. They are committing a criminal offense by refusing refunds. I currently have a case open with the financial ombudsman to get £850 back.

Each team member has been pleasant and helpful, but special thanks to Evelyn for her excellent care and assistance on our pram bundle purchase. We have visited the Leeds store around 4 times in total and each time had a different sales assistant. Consistently they have all been knowledgeable on the products and helpful despite almost always a very busy shop. Kudos to great team and training to get this consistently.Most recently though Evelyn was welcoming, answered every question, very intuitive to our needs and thoughts to help us reach the right decision and at a competitive price overall. Thank you for your support on Sunday with the silver cross and delivery schedules around Christmas etc which was thoughtful in line with our due date.Couldn’t ask for better service, pleasant clean shop, great range and stock and competitive on price.

Don’t use this company.Total scamReally criminal behaviour£1295 down and no pram or car seat!! No choice but to file with our Credit Card for Section 75 so they can try recover the funds from them for us. Paid £1295 for Silvercross bundle over 5 weeks ago. Been promised the product every week and they say they will call back when it’s in stock. They never ever call. It takes so long to get through to the. Often the phone is down or rings out. I’ve called them 15+ times over the last week only to be told a total lie when I eventually get through to someone. We’ve asked for a refund so many times and they say they can’t promise they can do that. Today, they hung up on us when we were asking why we were told it was out for delivery last week but then the pallet has arrived and our pram isn’t on it.Give us our money back so we can buy the product direct from Silvercross. Total total crooks. Will be spreading the message far and wide amongst the parenting community in Leeds not to use this company. Will also be reporting company to trading standards

Went into the shop a few weeks back now and wow the customer service is amazing! Second to non, they went absolutely above and beyond for myself and my partner! Couldn’t have been happier with the experience especially with being a first time mum it made it all so special!Can’t wait to return to pick up our pram🥰

My daughter and I visited the Crewe store today and were helped by a really friendly and knowledgeable member of staff - Megan. There was no pressure and we were able to try numerous pushchairs and travel systems, with Megan assisting to show how they all fixed together and the options for colours etc. It is a lovely store with a fantastic range for all budgets. The service was really great, not rushed or hurried and the pricing options were clearly explained. We were so impressed overall we ordered the travel system without wanting to shop around any further. They also offer a payment option whereby you place 20% deposit and pay at intervals to suit your budget. We will definitely be back for further items. Thanks to Megan once again!

We visited the Leeds store and left with a brilliant bundle. The staff were super helpful and not pushy. Sara showed us one of the pushchairs we had been interested in, how to fold, different seat options and let us have space to really look around and test the chair on the terrain track. She was super helpful with all my questions. Pricing was better here than online too.

We had an appointment with Katie to look at prams and car seats. As first time parents to be, we had no clue where to start but Katie patiently listened to what we wanted from these products and was knowledgeable about which products would suit our needs, helping us choose the right products. Would highly recommend due to excellent customer service

Visited the store with my sister to find a pushchair and next to me crib. David was absolutely fantastic, service was amazing and helped the whole way through. Plus amazing prices! Would definitely recommend!
