nationalrail.co.uk Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives nationalrail.co.uk one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 86.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 86.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to nationalrail.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning nationalrail.co.uk, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between nationalrail.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of nationalrail.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of nationalrail.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. nationalrail.co.uk is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether nationalrail.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether nationalrail.co.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, nationalrail.co.uk.

Trustpilot should create a 0 star button just for National Rail. At this point they should change the law on strikes, National Rail workers still striking are only hurting the country and those in it. Period.
I know that National rail have their problems, but I must say that when I travelled this week with Assisted travel,I couldn't have been more looked after.Even tho they are short staffed, and have had to put on replacement buses,I was still assisted with my luggage up & down the lifts, helped on & off trains.Cant thank them enough.
If you are only supplying one train per hour as a standard service then the coffee and toilet facilities should be open. Thorpe le soken no services no staff very poor.
I would give this 0 out of 5 stars if I could. I have been a student for 5 years commuting from Manchester to Norfolk. I have been on more trains than I can count and I can easily say that I cannot remember a single two way journey where services were not cancelled or delayed. When buying tickets that require connecting journeys (which I use every trip home from university) there is always at LEAST one connection with less than 10 minute time gap. Which means when services are INEVITABLY delayed I miss my train and have to wait an hour for the next one. Absolutely abysmal. 10/10 have never and will never recommended using trains to get around the country.
Used the service between Folkestone central and Dover priory and returned on a Saturday.Went with my disabled mother and could not fault the service she/we received. When arriving we were assisted to the platform, once the train arrived they promptly place the ramp and assisted my mother aboard. Aboard the train the only fault I have is the disability access is where the toilet is so the smell unfortunately was unavoidable. Again when getting off the train and our return journey we received the same treatment. Was the most successful trip we have had since mum started using a mobility scooter. Will 100% be using train over bus from now on
I've had the misfortune to use the UK's train network frequency over the the last two months covering hundreds of miles. One star is reserved for the worst service/performance. British Rail easily falls into this category.EVERY train has either been late or left me with no time for further connections."Let the train take the strain" remember that? What a load of rubbish.
I have had yet another nightmare with train journeys this weekend Why these people think they deserve pay rises is beyond me.Constant delays, constant "signal " issues, I have had to buy extra tickets this weekend as my connections were either cancelled or very delayed. To and from my destination I wish the railways would be privatised and then take away the power from these snivelling jobsworths
Two train journey to London….First train late, which meant we had 30 seconds to make our connection….then no choice but to jump in the first carriage available before the doors closed, and the staff then wouldn’t let us make our way to our correct reserved carriage. Why?Then forced to stand for 20 minutes in a cramped toilet area. Then forced to get off and carry luggage again at the next stop and jump back on in the right carriage for our reserved seats. Train utterly packed, with people complaining and asking why the operator can’t add an extra carriage in regular busy journeys. Wifi not working at all on the 3-hour journey. Carriage unbearably hot. Cash only at the buffet (who carries enough cash routinely these days for something to eat or drink)? Utterly useless. Complete shambles. Will drive next time.
Another usless example of public transport. Train cancelled due to lack of staff mid journey. With zero information. Would have got a taxi but due to this none left. So now stranded waiting for the next one.
Worst f*king service on earth. They overcharge you, they’reNEVER reliable, constantly late. ALWAYS cancelling trains and if they’re LATE it’s your problem and your problem only. You can’t even get a full refund they still charge admin fee.
We travel to Blackpool mostly every month and I think once the journey ran smoothly. Recently, we purchased tickets and for the return dates for the 20th of June. Every train journey there was cancelled and we got as far as Preston then had to find alternative transport. This wasn't the only issue, on the journey home our tickets were deemed invalid with the cost to myself, having to pay for the same journey due to their bad service. There customer service is foul. I have already made a complaint with them and done a visa dispute on both transactions. Ten to twenty days wait for a reply is not good enough. They didn't provide a full service and knew the train had been cancelled prior to selling. That is ripping the public off. They are foul
Absolutely appalling! Paid £80 to get my son and myself to a funeral in Chiswick (from Lewes) today. Last minute cancellations made a mess of the whole journey. It makes a mockery of the modern worlds constant health and safety and risk assessments! As businesses-we all have to spend a lot of time and money on getting this right un yet this very large company are allowed to put people under enormous dangerous personal pressure, make them have to run where it is not safe, to make connections and cause exits to be blocked by passengers and their luggage (especially at Gatwick) because there are not enough trains. What happens if there is a fire or a need to evacuate?! We should be encouraged to use public transport not make it almost impossible. Disgusting!
Short notice cancellation which seriously affected my holiday. This has happened twice in two years. Thank god we have a car or we would have had to cancel the holiday and lost nearly £1000! Abysmal service!!
Booked tickets for 4 adults age 53'54'79' and 82 the two are disabled. From Cardiff to Tamworth.Direct train. Train was cancelled. We had to go to Bristol then Birmingham then nuneaton then Tamworth.we ended up getting home . At 11.30 pm.The train service isn't fit for purpose.Never again.
What on earth have they done with the Journey Planner website? It worked perfectly well before, when I was able to print out outward and return journeys on the same page, but the new design is a nightmare to navigate, pushes you to buy a ticket ( I only want train times, no ticket as I travel on a retired staff pass) and there is NO PRINT OPTION to print the journey times out! PLEASE bring back the old format!
National rail call themselves a travel brand? SERIOUSLY đŸ¤£đŸ¤£đŸ¤£Seriously?!?! National Rail say they want to help people with their travel whether it is for school, leisure or business but they don’t have train dates past July 17th this year when all other holiday companies have their dates, ticket prices and travel times?!?! I want to book a few days for myself in Conwy (North Wales) and book myself for my RETURN journey on the 10th August yet National Rail in their wisdom WONT help me as they do not have any dates ticket prices or train journey times. So I have to miss out on booking the hotel I want which in turn has stopped me going on holiday. WELL DONE NATIONAL RAIL
It actually wasn't the actually trip on the train but the cleanliness of the toilets at Bletchley. Never seen toilets so clean at any station. Bletchley should be proud.
I almost lost my job because the train got delayed. They only want your money and Threaten you if you don’t buy ticket. The Uk is Finished
Why should adult customers have to pay when many teenagers DONT. The staff are treated with disrespect, sworn at and abused and it seriously needs looking at as no staff member deserves that treatment at work. These so called children should be named and shamed and let their parents deal with them as they see fit as no parent wants to have their child spoil their career for them. So why should good staff members have to have all the abuse and why should respectful customers have to pay when all don't.
I've never seen such a terrible public transport service in my life. Cancelling virtually every train one after another is inexcusable, especially when they apologise for a "slight" delay. It seems that the tiniest bit of rain just shuts down the whole railway system in the Southwest? It's embarrassing and pathetic. Waiting well over an hour and missing an important appointment has cost me more than I can describe. EDIT: it got so much worse. I finally managed to get a train for my 12 minute journey to Bristol and it couldn't even get onto the platform because another train was in the way. Absolutely hate this company beyond words.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
