Is mybareway.com Legit?

I noticed these shoes in an Instagram advertisement at the time I was looking for some new hiking and everyday wear shoes. After doing some research I decided to purchase the "Explorer". Shoes arrived a few days later and after unboxing I discovered they fit perfectly as I had followed the sizing chart on the website. I have about 10 miles of hiking on them now and 5 days of general wear on them and I'm very impressed. Great traction, comfortable, easy on and off and I ABSOLUTELY love the no-tie string system which stays secure from the moment you put them on, until taking them off. I’ve got myself a couple of BAREWAY STRIDE. And they’re amazing! I Usually wear Vivo or Xero shoes, but this are a good compliment if you want really comfortable shoes with zero heel drop and a wide toe box that allows you to feel the ground! I received my boots and they were the wrong size. I haven’t been able to return them for the correct size after many emails with zero response ! Another bad experience on Facebook market place.

I used to spend a lot of time barefoot, and liked that feel of contact and intimacy with the earth, but over the years I succumbed to wearing regular mainstream footwear with a solid base, and little foot flexibility, likely leading to my occasional plantar fasciitis episodes. With my feet hurting I looked for options, and Bareway is one of them. Since I received my first pair I basically haven't put any of my old footwear on. I love the feel of these shoes, and so I bought a sturdier waterproof model for this fall. I got the size wrong and had to ask for a replacement pair, and this was surprisingly simple, and prompt, and now I have two wonderful pairs of Bareways, so my feet are happier, and so is my heart, as I feel more connected to the earth that supports everything I do. Thanks bareway for the happy feet!

I bought a first pair and they were so amazing I bought 3 other pairs of different models.I'm 64 years old, and I had never worn shoes so confortable!! I highly recommend Bareways shoes to anyone who wants to feel grounded and comfortable (the wide toe box did it for me).And, to top it off, their customer service is simply great!

I just received my first pair of Bareway shoes. The ordering process was very easy, and they shipped fairly quickly to me in Canada. I was leery about ordering shoes online, but thought I’d give it a try, as the return policy seemed good if I needed it. I was given several updates on the status of my order. I often have issues finding shoes to fit me properly (size 14) and I was excited to try these on. They fit perfectly, and are even more comfortable than I had imagined. I’ve taken them out for a 10km run already, and although it was an adjustment from my regular runners, I had no issues with them at all. I really did feel like I had nothing on my feet, they are that comfortable. I know it won’t be long before I’m ordering another pair. Thanks Bareway!From a satisfied customer.

New BarewaysI just recently purchased a pair of Bareway striders a couple of weeks ago, after trying a lower priced wide tow box that was $25 less. Although the previous “similar” shoes were comfortable, they do not even come close to the comfort of Bareway shoes.I’ve never worn this kind of shoe before but the transitioning has been very helpful in eliminating foot pain and I wear them every day now! I’m considering going to the type that has individual toe slots on my next purchase. I won’t wear anything else after getting my Bareways.Sincerely,Michael L

I am an avid barefoot person - literally - I rarely have shoes or socks on. But I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis as of late. So why not try barefoot shoes. Seemed like a logical transition - turned out to be a great decision. Super comfortable, easy wearing - like they are not even on my feet. Benefit is - support and alleviates my plantar fascia. All around a win win!!

I purchased these shoes as I have neuropathy in my feet & have lower back problems. While skeptical at first in the concept I felt I had to give them a try. As one who loved going barefoot, but am advised against due to diabetes, I felt they could be a possible solution. I received them last week & have been wearing them quite a bit sense & often even forget I have shoes on. Lol. They are comfortable, seem to make walking more comfortable & provide the protection I need on my feet. Will most likely get another pair.

I love how lightweight and flexible Bareway shoes are. I have Mutliple Sclerosis and prefer “barefoot” style shoes simply because I feel more stable on my feet. Bareway shoes are the best fit for me in terms of flexibility, weight, and overall feel. Victor

I am very satisfied with costumer service. I recieved my bareway shoes rapidly but the size was too small. I contacted by e-mail bareway to know what was the procedure in getting a bigger size. They answered me the next day. Made sure I was getting the right size and they sent me another paire without hesitation. This is a compagnie you can trust

I had bought three myBareway shoes. I wanted to return them because the quality was very poor and they did not work for my purpose. However, myBareway refused to honor the 90-day return policy, which they advertised when I bought the shoes. They reasoned that I took too long to return the shoes even though I requested the returns within the 90-day limit. They stopped emailing me back when I further inquired about their reasoning. I do not recommend this company at all.

I have worn my bare ways shoes extensively. They have exceeded my expectations in every way my balance is better my feet are stronger and walking in them is very comfortable on any terrain or flooring. The fact that they are water proof yet breathe and are insulated make them a pleasure to wear outdoors in the winter. After wearing them for several months they show no signs of wear so far bravo for creating such a well designed product

Just received my Bareway Feels and I must say, they are amazing!! I have trouble finding shoes that feel comfortable and let me tell you, these are the best! I wasn’t sure about them when I ordered but as soon as I put them on I knew I made a great choice. So light and comfortable and after wearing them for a day my feet feel wonderful. I was sent the wrong shoes, when I contacted them to fix it I got 1 response and then no further contact for more than a week and a half. I was on the website daily checking. I contacted them via an alternative email address and got a response right away. I made a negative Trustpilot review and was contacted almost immediately by the company on the original line of communication. They claimed they had a service break and it was announced but I hadn't seen any announcements in the weeks I had been trying to contact them. At that point I was happy to send all the shoes back, as I was unhappy with the customer service, quality of the products and in my opinion the entire transaction felt a little off. They then threatened me with legal action because of my negative review and said that the CEO was going to contact me (I'm still waiting to hear from them) There is so much more that went on, and in the end they denied sending the wrong sized shoes even after I sent pictures of the insole length compared to the sizing chart. It was all very strange. My Purchase was on June 6th and the refund was processed today.I'll give 2 stars instead of 1 because I eventually got a refund. The refund was the best part of the transaction.

I found these shoes on my news feed and decided to purchase a pair. I purchased my shoe size, but found them too large. I talked through customer service via emails and sent pictures of how the company explains measuring for your shoe size. They responded and sent me another pair. The shoes fit well without socks on and are comfortable. Customer services did an amazing job of taking care of me.

I received my first pair of Bareway shoes & I love them! I gave them my foot measurements & the size they sent was a tiny bit too large for my liking. As a former ballet dancer, I appreciate snug & flexible, so next pair I’ll order a size smaller. But I love them no less! I wish I had the money to buy them in every color, but social security is my only income source, so I’d like my little reward for this review to be a discount on my next pair, if possible. I recommend these shoes to anyone who values flexible comfort over support & rigidity. Wearing them may actually strengthen your foot muscles. They certainly do make me want to dance!

I love my Bareway shoes. They are so comfortable. My ankle and feet stop hurting immediately after putting them on. The other favorite and immediately noticeable attribute is how cool they are. You can feel the wind blow right through them. Nice cool breeze. I know the recommendation is to go a size up, but I wish I went down. I wear a 11.5/12 usually. I went up to 12 like the recommendation, but I feel like more snug would be even more comfortable. I probably have maybe 1/2" of room in my heel if I push my foot all the way forward. Great shoes!
