Is mundo-surf.com Legit?

I am giving 5 stars not because everything went smoothly but because of how Mundo-Surf handled the fact that it didn’t. My surfskate didn’t arrive when expected (not too surprising with covid/xmas) and the tracking link wasn’t working. I chatted with them on the website and they were immediately on to tracking the shipment. Got it the next day. The whole vibe made me feel like my order mattered and the board arrived perfectly packaged in time for Xmas.

I am in the United States and was looking for particular O'Neill product that was no where to be found at any surf shop. It was a Hyperfreak Padded vest which is apparently discontinued, but Mundo-Surf still had them in stock. I was nervous to order from overseas, but I went ahead and ordered 2 of them. Package was at my door in 3 days. Same price I would have paid in the US. I love Mundo-surf and can't thank them enough for getting me the vest and the great quick service.

Mundo is such o a great shop that I would definitely buy from them again. Their customer service is top notch! Always answered any concerns I had in a timely manner. Prices are great and shipping to the US from Europe was unbelievably fast.

Smooth shopping :).Whenever i look for any surf related gear it seems that this shop has it all . Delivery to Germany within few days. All items exactly as they should be… A very reliable place to shop.

I ordered 4 bodyboard leashes sent to me here in Hawaii. I was unsure about payment and shipping but Ignacio handled everything for me! Out of 4 leashes, one accidentally was large. No big deal, it will make a great gift for a buff friend. Mahalo from across the globe here in Hana, Maui.

The chat function was working well, but the email reply took quite a long time sometimes. But overall I was happy with the customer service and shopping experience.

The worst service imaginable. They sent a faulty Ripcurl watch for my sons 11th birthday and we sent it back. We waited over a year with many phone calls to a guy called Ignacio ...to summarise it never got fixed and we never received a new watch....this company is an absolute joke avoid at all costs !!

Got a new surfboard from Mundo, got it with yellow tints on the tail & rails, it's clear that the board was not properly stored and the resin got yellow. The customer experience is terrible, they refuse to take any responsibility, They say it's all fine... 700euro fine!! They offered me 40euro voucher if i buy for another at 80 in the store!! Or return the board with me paying for shipping costs!!

deplorable site.I ordered a surf helmet which was not delivered and I cannot get a refund.

Good website (the irony that their automated algorithm sent me an email asking me for a Trustpilot review 12 days before my products even arrived ....LoL!!). Good range of products. Easy to order. But took 19 days for delivery from Spain to France for a board at a fee of 60 Euros for the courier. Carlos at Mundo surf tried to say this was all because of two bank holidays and weekends. Yes maybe a few days extra beyond 3-4 but 19 days to deliver??? They wouldn't even offer me a % refund or a voucher or something as an apology. It's hardly what you want for your first e-commerce experience when trying out a company you have not bought from before! (no doubt they will come on here and play it down or ignore me altogether)

When i received my parcel, the wetsuit i ordered was missing. I contacted mundo surf and filed a complaint, but after 3 weeks i'm still waiting for a feed-back and refund. As a result I did not have my new wetsuit for my holidays.Very poor service. Would not recommend buying from them.
