mrwheeldeal.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives mrwheeldeal.com a medium trust score on the platform: 61. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 61 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to mrwheeldeal.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning mrwheeldeal.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between mrwheeldeal.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of mrwheeldeal.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of mrwheeldeal.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. mrwheeldeal.com is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether mrwheeldeal.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether mrwheeldeal.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, mrwheeldeal.com.

“They say they can ship your wheels in 7 days. They cannot”

I bought wheels and tires estimated delivery said 7 days. 7 days later they were not shipped they told me they are still waiting for them to be shipped from manufacturer. 150 dollars more I could have had them from custom offsets. A more trusted company. DO NOT BUY FROM MR WHEEL SHAM

“Worst place ever to buy anything”

I talked to a sales rep about wheels that would fit my truck that had a 3 inch lift. They sent me some Moto metal 20 x 12 they told me they would fit. In fact they were too wide could not turn the truck without them rubbing drastically. Went to send them back and they charged me $300 for a restocking fee. They gave me a quote on the 20 x 10 wheels. Then when I ordered the wheels they were $300 higher than I was quoted. After several days of calling and complaining, they finally gave them to me for the quoted price. Four weeks later, I received the wheels one being scratched up and a tire had been installed on it. Two others had the bolt holes for the center caps stripped out. They will not warranty out the scratched up wheel and refused to do what they told me they would do which is send me a new wheel, send me some tire and wheel cleaner. And refund me $100, which is what it cost me to have, the holes re-tapped for the center cap bolts. Products used:20X10 moto metal 972 Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Easy to deal with”

The site was easy to manage, pricing for both wheels and tires was best I found and transparent. I called just to confirm fitment and tire sizing and Jeremy was great to deal with. Looking forward to o them coming in!

“Scam very bad business”

I ordered rims for my 328i bmw unfortunately 1 of the rims cracked in half and they refused to replace it wanting me to buy another rim please don't do business with this company they are scammers. Products used:Rims tires Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Canada shipment friendly, stands behind their product 100%”

If you live in Canada, and you need to buy wheels and tires from USA then Mr. Wheel Deal is the correct answer. Why? 1) They will get you the best price 2) They will assemble and check your order 3) They will send you an electronic copy of the commercial invoice as soon as they ship 4) They will ship UPS (which is a very good thing, provided you notify UPS of your intent to self-clear once you have the waybill number and the commercial invoice) 5) UPS has streamlined their self-clear process now. Once you have your B15 you can email it to UPS, you don't even have to go there, and they will deliver right to your biker clubhouse. 6) This is the most important: When things go sideways with your order, Mr. Wheel Deal just makes it right. (Remember to take photos of your packages before you open them, and as you open them, especially if you suspect damage.) I opened a claim with UPS right away using those photos. Mr. Wheel Deal took it from there, and made everything copasetic, including sending a replacement wheel which I was able to clear thru customs at zero duty and zero GST. I am highly satisfied with this organization's commitment to happy customer outcomes. They stand behind every aspect of their service and product. I would not buy wheels from anyone else but MrWheelDeal.com Tip for consumers:Insist on UPS as shipping company, ask shipper for an electronic copy of the commercial invoice, notify UPS of your intent to self-clear. Once UPS notifies you the package is in Canada, go to Border Services Agency with your commercial invoice, pay the duty, get your B15, take a photo of it, email B15 photo to UPS. Products used:Wheels, Wheel Locks, Wheel Nuts, Wheel Centering Rings Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Don't take the chance.”

This company seams to be more like drop shippers than an actual business. Placed my order and waited three weeks before I received my wheels. When I opened the wheels they were the wrong color. Looking online at my order I noticed the picture was of the wheels I thought I was getting but the description was for another color. I thought simple mistake and I will call them and simply return them for the correct wheels. I looked on there site and there wasn't any phone number for customer service. I had to send them an email and wait for someone to contact me. When I was contacted they wanted pictures of the wheels I received, pictures of the wheels on my order and my order information. I emailed all the information they requested. I was emailed back with a response that it would cost me $400 to return the wheels. After ten emails with different people with Mr. Wheel Deals and Custom Offset (the same company) I was told that $325 is the best they could do to return the wheels that the image was wrong on the website and my order. So now I am stuck with a set of wheels I don't even like. This is not a good way to conduct business. I am not trying to run Mr. Wheel Deals or Custom Offsets in the ground but customer service and accuracy is lacking at best. The shipping was not bad other than my wheels were left out in the rain but that was not there fault. I do think on a $1700 set of wheels there should have been a signature required. My case might just be an isolated case but this is how my issue was handled. Don't take the chance buy elsewhere. * Mr. Wheel Deal attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

“Tire/wheel order”

“Derrick”

Derrick was very helpful in my process of the purchase of my rims he made the purchase very easy thanks

“Great help from Izak”

Great help throught the process and made sure i had the right fit for my truck and prices are really good.

“Very unorganized with providing info”

I'm writing this BEFORE my wheels and tires even arrive. I want to start by saying my original plan was just to order wheels. I selected a wheel that will come in a timely manner. After purchase, I received a text about purchasing tires with it for a reasonable price... cool. So I purchased and didn't hear anything about what will happen next, if it went through, etc. The next day I check the status and see that the rims had an estimated delivery of the 7th and tires 14th. I called, left a message and received a call back. I asked about what was going on, the rep explained that BOTH the wheels and tires had to be delivered to the warehouse where the tires will be put on and balance. I asked about the delivery dates, she said one is scheduled to ARRIVE at the warehouse on the 7th and other 14th. I thought the delivery date was approximately when it will arrive at my house? So now I'm confused, and she stated that it's a delay on the tires which is causing the hold up. So I took off work 7-9th thinking that's when I'll at least get my wheels. I called the next day to cancel the tire order so I can go ahead and get the wheels shipped out, this rep states that they have the tires already, waiting on the wheels to arrive... hunh? Then I asked since you have the tires and wheels are to arrive soon, what's the possible delivery date? She states 16-20th. What? Last thing. I ask about a charge on my order showing 334.00... NOBODY knows what it is! Instead of finding out, I just got a bunch of "it could be". With all the information provided, I have yet to hear ANYTHING accurate. Why provide any info especially on that bogus sight which STILL shows items on the way to warehouse. Just say "I don't know" and call it a day!

“I tried calling for help and never could get threw”

“Great place to buy from”

Customer service helped a lot. I will recommend to everyone. Service Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
