Is motifphotos.com Legit?

I've used Motif for years now, since it replaced Apple books. The quality is excellent and service really good. But the functionality is no longer acceptable. With so many other platforms outperforming in these areas, I may need to look at using another company next year unless some things are updated. No matter how organised I arrange my photo albums ahead of uploading them for a project, whether a calendar or book. So many photos don't seem to be uploaded, meaning I have to go and manually upload them individually. They also seem to duplicate. It would be great if there was a way to find duplicates and delete them. It would also be great if there was an easier way to organise the images once uploaded as the small view box in the footer of the editing screen is tricky. And finally, when ordering multiple projects, why do you make it so that we have to do each one separately? Meaning I have to pay shipping twice! This is the most inefficient and non-necessary expensive way to do it. It's a pain!I really hope these updates will be addressed as I would love to keep using this company, but the UX is becoming tedious without needing to be with all the new technology available these days.

The print quality is good, hower the shipping charges are ridiculous.

Support is pathetic and even some rudimentary features do not work properly. The support-bot was completely useless.Ultimately, I spent 2 hours making a photo book that at the very last step was not useable because I could not delete the unused pages.

A useful app for creating photo albums. A great result. Could be easier to use in places, but worth persevering.

The Calendar came in brilliant time and was exceptional quality and will be an excellent item to have on our wall will definitely use you again for our next year memories.

The quality of these books is always outstanding. Every year I produce 2 books, one to encapsulate our year and the other to remember our special holiday and every year we are very pleased with the results😁

Apart from sorting my own photos, which takes a little time, the choice of layouts and books along with the simplicity of rearranging the layout to my own preference is relatively simple.The order system is quick and the delivery even quicker.

Fairly easy to navigate book making process. There are some frustrating aspects such as being told photos are too poor in quality to use, despite being pro pictures! But the book produced is superb, way better than other photo books I have made. My first choice now for making keepsake photo books.

Motif's photo-book making process is pretty good and getting better as time goes on. The print quality is not amazing but easily good enough for most everyday albums. Turn-around time from order to receipt is usually quick.

We have made ten 10X10 hardcover Motif photo books over the last two years (and also given away a couple as gifts). They are a wonderful way to relive our experiences, especially trips and other highlights that occur over the course of a year. It's also a lot of fun sitting with your partner in front of the computer picking the photos, laying out the pages, and seeing it all come together. We've found the product easy to use and powerful in terms of how much we can do and so quickly. And the books are beautiful!

Liked the photo quality and ease of use creating a photobook. My one frustration was that despite MOTIF being an app compatible with Apple, I'm not able to "press and hold to display the accent menu". My text captions use French place names so I have to use a clumsy copy/paste workaround to achieve the correct spelling of French words.

Good but I did like the colored pages in Apples set-up. Tried in yours to no avail. Also not fond of bussinesses that you can only commicate through e-mail & don't get me started on texting !! It's nice to have a human @ a customer service #. I do appreciate the quality & accuracy of the images. In that I've had no issues so far unlike various canvas & metal prints I've done elsewhere. Very pleased with the calendar

Easy and effective app to create quality photobook. Second occasion using this app for an important project (90th birthday) and Motif worked as expected and delivered ahead of time (both EU and Canada). Thanks. Lots of features to lay out photos (watch the video) though I prefer to do complex arrangements outside Motif. Suggest testing (on screen) size/resolution and aspect ratio at the start.

This is my second project with Motif. Absolutely awesome product. Delivery within 4 days was unbelievable! 80 pages with over 220 photos plus script. Quality of paper, presentation, colour and photos was first class. Easy to use and edit. I would not hesitate to recommend this produce to anyone! Can’t wait to start my next project!! I absolutely love the book I ordered. I’m deployed in the Middle East at the moment and wanted something special to give my fiancé for our anniversary. When she opened the book up over FaceTime she started crying. From what I could see, great quality and quick turnaround time. The actual ordering when I was done making the book was a bit complicated, but I think that’s because of my bad service and Wi-Fi connection over here. Thank you Motif!

I've used Motif/Mimeo in the past with good results. Very easy to use and the photo books are quite nice. Now, for the past week, I've been trying to purchase a photo book I created and the customer service is terrible. I hate to say it, but who ever is responding to my emails seems not to know how to read. They ask me questions that I've already answered and are offering either canned, useless answers or solutions that are internally inconsistent and don't work. I have used them in the past with good results but am not going to again because of the hours of frustration this has caused.

The software worked wonderfully for manual placement of photos, changing layouts to compare and choose, adding text, etc. Linking with my Apple iPhoto is a dream. The softcover has nice quality paper--soft to touch--and great color of the photos. I quickly put together 5 small books in 2 days. They were carefully packaged and received timely too!

Errors found. Web site doesn’t give enough options for text discription. No option to highlight specific errors. You must find them yourself. Motif was much better and easier to use Wouldn’t use you again.
