mothernature.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives mothernature.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 64.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 64.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to mothernature.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning mothernature.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between mothernature.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of mothernature.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of mothernature.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. mothernature.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether mothernature.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether mothernature.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, mothernature.com.

Overall I would say you should never ever order from this company.Scam company, lack of follow through. False promises and false and misleading information.Made an order August 2021 and I’ve yet to receive my item or refund. It’s been 7 months and still haven’t received my anything or communication.Horrible customer service. Avoid at all cost
AFTER SEVERAL EMAILS AND FORGET CALLING (THERE'S NO ONE TO ANSWER YOUR CALL) I GAVE UP AND CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. THEY CHARGED MY CC BEFORE SHIPMENT AND WHEN I HAD TO MAKE A RETURN FOR DAMAGED ITEMS IS WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE FUNDS. MAYBE THEY DON'T PLAN ON STAYING IN BUSINESS, THEIR ACTIONS SURE SEEM LIKE THEY COULD CARE LESS. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
The absolute worst group of companies(about 5)EVER to hit the internet. 75 days and I'm STILL waiting. It's obvious their policy is not to give a shit. No response to my customer service(gag)requests or emails. I've spent hours googling these bozos. CEO is Whitney Anderson, former VP at Bank of America. Nobody is allowed to speak to ANY human being. Refunds are few, and you're lucky within a year to receive one. Out of stock items could easily be substituted with another brand, but the head bean counter won't allow it! Morons at minimum wage run shipping. Expert scumbags at this Madoff ponzi scheme. Probably going out of business any day, like they did back in 2001. They are stealing people blind and must be loving it! You buy, you'll cry! Don't take a chance! Not worth the aggravation or high blood pressure.
Products were easy to find on their site. very good prices considering they sell quality organic and natural stuff. much cheaper than, say, Wholefoods. my order has no problems so i didnt talk to their customer service. but they seem easy to contact through their site. i'd shop here again, it felt safe and the products came fast.
I love mother nature organics jojoba and argan oil so much The 16 oz bottles of everyday use have lasted me well over 6 months and I have filled a couple 1 oz bottles for my friend and daughter. Shipping is pretty fast!! I received all my products and I use them in my hair,as a pre face and hair wash, also as a moisturizer for face or leave in for hair,on my lips ,after I shave..I will probably forever be a customer!! Especially because there products are usda/ eco cert!! I just ordered more of both and added on sweet almond oil, rose hip oil,and moringa oil!! I can't wait to add those in my routine!! I will review when I get them and again after 3 and 6 months as an update..I don't know where the bad reviews come in but I haven't had any trouble. The only part I don't care for is the shop app tracking but just bc I'm used to getting text notifications and on my email other than that I have had nothing but great experiences with the products themselves as well as customer service and shipping. I hope other experience is more like mine
I am currently experiencing the same frustration as most of the other recent MotherNature.com reviewers. My order was placed Nov 30 2010 and the items were all in stock, and I received an email confirmation that day. 9 days later I review my order since it should be here or on it's way, to find out there is a delay based on item(s) not in stock, expected ship date 12/11. I never received any email update on this "back order problem". There is no way to contact a body for answers or to cancel my order. Today, after I searched for reviews for this company and discovered this deceitful practice to be common in doing business with MotherNature.com, I emailed my order cancellation, and I'm starting a dispute with my credit card company to refund my money. I will never do business with MotherNature.com again.
Order placed Nov 3, tried repeatedly to get in touch with them since then. NNo shipment, no call back, but they certainly charged my credit card immediately! I finally placed a disputed claim with my CC company. Save yourself a headache. I have learned I am not the only one by far...
I will never do business with this company again, and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone else. First, my shipment was delayed twice, and when I finally received the packaged it didn't even contain all of the items I had ordered and paid for! The list they included with my package indicates that all items were shipped, but that is incorrect. I submitted a request for a refund for the item that I never received. It has now been two weeks and still no refund, nor any further correspondence from them. I may have to chalk this one up to lesson learned and kiss my money goodbye. I despise companies like this! I don't have money to be throwing away. I can only hope their poor business practices and even worse customer service eventually puts them out of business.
Mothernature.com ought to be avoided at ALL costs. Though the website looks nice, and the checkout process is relatively easy, this business intends to leave you, the customer, in the dark, waiting for your order to arrive, even though your credit card has been charged. I ordered two items that were apparently "in stock". I paid over $9.00 for standard shipping. 10 days from my order date, nothing has been shipped. The status of my order states "warehouse processing". To inquire about my order, I have to complete an online form that goes unanswered. It is impossible to speak to mothernature.com on the phone. The 800 number brings you to only two places: submitting an order over-the-phone OR an automated message telling you to seek assistance online. This is NOT a coincidence. They want you in the dark; they do not care about you. Simply put, mothernature.com does not honor their customers. In fact, they have no intention of delivering you merchandise you have PAID for. This is a business that deserves to be shut down. Here's why: 1. They ignore their customers. 2. Their website is full of lies. Items appear to be "in stock", though are not ready to be shipped to any person who pays for them. This is deceitful. 3. They offer different shipping options which cost different amounts, but you cannot expect your order to arrive in the time you paid for. Mothernature.com will not account for this; they SHOULD refund you for shipping costs if it's not shipped by the promised date. However, this is a greedy business, so they do not value you or your money. 4. They do not regard consumers' FTC rights. People who prefer honorable businesses should steer clear of mothernature.com. You cannot, under any circumstances, shop with confidence here.
I got all my products that I ordered. And they shipped the items pretty fast. That is the one of the biggest things I care about. Hate waiting for a long time. They packaged the stuff pretty good. I told my friends about this site.

“I'm still waiting on my $67 order placed on Oct. 3 it...”
I'm still waiting on my $67 order placed on Oct. 3 it is now Dec. 17. I can't believe they are allowed to run a website. I will now dedicate my time to get this company shut down. Take a look at their facebook page
“I ordered some products from the website, and received...”
I ordered some products from the website, and received a partial order fairly quickly. My credit card was charged for the full order amount. The account information available online indicated that the balance of the order had shipped, and that I'd been notified by email, which was not true. I waited a couple weeks, and never received the order. I was unable to reach anyone at their phone number, so I posted a "lost shipment" notice on my account on the website. The online response to that referred me to their policy which indicated that refunds were "at their discretion". I then filed a merchant complaint with my credit card company for a charge-back. In the meantime I reviewed online reviews of this company and found numerous instances from consumers who had experienced the same situation. I believe this is intentional behavior on the part of the company. I would never order from them again.
“"Ordered a product (advertised as "available now" on...”
"Ordered a product (advertised as "available now" on 10/12/11. Mothernature.com took $49.09 from my bank account on 10/13/11. Although they are still advertising this product as "available now", they have not shipped. You cannot reach them by telephone. You get a recorded msg that refers you to their website. They do not respond promptly, if at all, to e-mails. They claimed they couldn't ship, but also couldn't cancel the order. They finally agreed to refund my money but claim that it may take an additional 2 months for me to get the refund "depending upon how quickly my bank processes. I still have no refund. I have had to contact the New York Dept of Consumer Affairs for assistance. They are investigating too and still no product, no refund. "
“I placed an order on mothernature.com almost 2 weeks...”
I placed an order on mothernature.com almost 2 weeks ago. I've emailed them 3 comments throughout the past two weeks... no reply. I tried to call their phone number... no one answers. My order status states it's being processed in their warehouse... where it's been since I first placed my order. They sure didn't waste any time charging my credit card, yet I haven't received anything... no products, and no replies to any of my emails. I stated in the email I sent today that I want my order cancelled and I am not paying for any return charges if they send anything out. I also said that I want my credit card refunded, and if they don't, I am contacting my bank to arbitrate the charges and that I am reporting them to the better business bureau. This company is a fraud.
“I've placed a large order on this site in October of...”
I've placed a large order on this site in October of 2011 and have not received any of my products. I have called and emailed dozens of times and still no response or products. This site is a scam, dont order from them!
“I ordered from Mothernature for several years without...”
I ordered from Mothernature for several years without incident. In October, I placed an order for almost $200. They took my money and never sent anything. After several emails, they promised a refund but that hasn't happened. I filed a complaint with BBB but Buyers BEWARE OF MOTHERNATURE.COM: it is a ripoff and they are just taking money and not actually filling orders.
“mothernature.com Stole $112.00 from me!”
In October 2011 I ordered a large bottle of Ecco Bella lotion which I paid a total of over $112 on mothernature.com and never received my product and the company wouldn't answer their customer service calls. Since I couldn't pin down the physical address for the company (I never received an invoice or my product and their website didn't give an address) the BBB couldn't file a complaint. In October 2012 I was FINALLY contacted by the CS dept of mothernature.com and in the email I was assured I "WILL" (they did capitalize this btw) receive my refund... and they even repeated the address I gave them. I NEVER received my refund. A month later, in November 2012 I gave birth to our little girl and have been super consumed with parenting... so it wasn't until an hour ago in cleaning up my emails in my stuffed in-box & out-box etc that I recalled that the company dropped the ball yet again. I emailed them... do I think they will ever do right, absolutely not! But I am NOT letting this go... that's stealing! I am picking up where I left off and am contacting the BBB again and forwarding the emails of them promising a refund but never sending it. Wish me luck... too bad mothernature.com doesn't care much about their reputation!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
