Is moroccotours.org Legit?

We were four couples of experienced travellers in our 70s, some of whom had worked around the world. I had lived in Morocco in the mid-1960s as a foreign service brat and had returned nearly three decades later with my young family on a very do it yourself bargain holiday. Another 30 years passed, and I corralled friends to a short introduction to one of my favorite countries. The itinerary was perfect (Meknes was disappointing in that all its offerings are under renovation) and we all agreed on leaving that this was one of the best trips any of us had had. Chapeau to guide Ali and driver Abdul who ably shepherded our little group and ensured that we missed nothing. I would highly recommend this firm and am thinking of using them for our next family safari. My only criticism is that the food at lunch was repetitive.

We loved our two-week trip following the Authentic Morocco itinerary and really enjoyed the diverse range of places we saw, reflected in both the beauty of the country and the rich culture and history of its people. Our driver, Zak, is a wonderful person and we felt so well taken care of by him throughout the trip. Throughout, we appreciated his skilled driving and the knowledge and insights he shared. We also appreciated the engaging and informative guides we had at different points of our journey. The trip was full of highlights, but if I had to name one it would be our overnight stay in the desert, which was pretty magical. I'd say another highlight was the great places the tour arranged for us to stay at. Our experience with the whole Morocco Tours team was nothing but positive throughout the whole process -- from planning to being on the ground -- and I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering visiting Morocco.

This company is one of the best I have ever traveled with in over 20 years! At the very beginning we were comfortable with all the arrangements made from transportation, to the Riads selected, to the restaurants chosen. The crowning point of the whole experience was our driver Mehdi! Everything we asked in advance was provided throughout. The guides that were selected, impeccable. Everything being overseen by Jill as the in country company host. No questions went unanswered, let alone not taken care of in a timely manner.Bethany, was our point on initial contact, was terrific!When you travel with this family owned travel company, you feel like part of the family, in that Everything done is taken very personally by all in the company.Would not give it a second thought to use the company again!

Morocco tours worked with us at the last minute to plan a trip for 6, accommodating all of the late-breaking requests and plan changes. They were patient and accommodating and put together a really thoughtful itinerary. The guides were phenomenal - all professionals working in history or related fields, so knowledgeable about Morocco over the centuries. The driver (Mohammed) was also tremendously knowledgeable and accommodating - patient with herding a group of 6 and taking on last-minute requests. Wouldn't change a thing - Morocco tours know's what it's doing!

For me this was the trip of a lifetime. I have always wanted to visit Morocco. Images of desert sands, local flavors, open skies and desert people have always been in my heart. I couldn't have asked for a better tour group than Morocco Tours. The trip was so well planned down to the most minute detail. Our guide, Chahine was by far the "jewel of the desert". Always thoughtful, courteous and our safety was his priority. So many places to see and they were all so beautiful - from the Riff Mountains and Chefchaouen to the Sahara and the Medina in Fez. Every experience is one that I will treasure for a lifetime. I met many amazing people and they welcomed me with open arms. Brian, such a well thought out trip and thank you both you and Chahine for making my friend's birthday so special.

Kudos to Morocco Tours for arranging such an amazing trip for me. Brian’s suggested itinerary for my 9 days captured my interests and also allowed some flex time. Bethany’s pre-tour information was reassuring – I could focus on trip highlights, knowing the details had been well planned. My driver, Hassani, became a friend and added so much to my understanding of Moroccan culture. I especially enjoyed the variety of foods and spices, climbing up Ait Ben Haddou, guided tours of Chefchaouen and the medina of Fes, and riding Zuba for an overnight stay in the Sahara. What a welcoming country set in a diverse landscape – respecting traditions, speaking multiple languages, honouring the past and embracing the future.

We all (10 of us) had the most splendid time on our tour with Moroccotours.org I am not sure exactly what I expected, but it definitely was not the good food, the friendly atmosphere (wherever we went) nor the beautiful accommodations. Our tour guide, Lechan, was a human with unlimited kindness. I've traveled alot and I did not expect this trip to be on the list of one of my most favorites--but it definitely is! Wonderful time!

Our guide Lahcen A. was the best as well as our driver. He was very personable and helpful. Every request was handled and fulfilled with grace and a smile. Couldn't ask for a better guide.The actual tour was awesome as we circled many of the towns in the north with highlights being Chefchaouen, the camel ride in the desert, and our balloon ride. Our accommodations were top notch and the food was good. Morocco Tours took very good care of us and coordinated everything. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Morocco Tours and our recent trip. We had a very short and specific window for our trip and Jeff was fantastic at helping us build a personalized experience that was perfect for us. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for and delivered a wonderful itinerary, with no pressure at all like some companies can apply. And the trip itself was top notch start to finish. They picked excellent Riads for us in Marrakech and Essaouira. The 'glue' for the trip is the driver, and our driver was fantastic. Polite, personable, and most importantly he really got to know us and made some excellent recommendations for dinners, lunches, and daytime activities throughout the trip. The guides in both cities were knowledgeable and friendly. I feel like the entire team worked very closely together to provide a seemless experience. We felt like family throughout. This trip really wet our appetite and we hope to get back soon for more adventures. I would not hesitate to use Morocco Tours again. It was an amazing adventure in no small part thanks to them.

Our group of 10 traveled to Morocco and had the trip of a lifetime, in no small part due to the care and diligence of our tour operator, Morocco Tours. This was my first experience with a small tour and from now on, I will only take small group tours-no more big buses for me. Bethany and Brian of Morocco Tours arranged our itinerary of fantastic riads, restaurants and day tours and we were guided by our wonderful tour guide, Lahcen Asmar. Our driver, Abdul, kept us supplied with bottled water and expertly drove us all around Morocco-from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Lahcen squired us around through the medinas, cultural heritage sites, palaces and medinas and kept us all educated about the marvels of Morocco. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit this beautiful country and travels with Morocco Tours.

Our driver/ guide, Hamid Zerheri could not have been any more perfect for us. We were always comfortable in his beautiful , big and clean, van. He’s an excellent driver and we felt secure at all times. He was respectful of our silences while driving the long distances, and offered insightful comments on what we were seeing/ visiting at all times over many days. The tour guides provided at the different locations were all amazing . Friendly and so knowledgeable. The Riads booked for us were all quite stunning, especially Fez. The only hiccup was the airport arrival pickup, and it was Not the tour operators fault! But they took care of it for us and handled it beautifully. We totally recommend them to anyone who wants an incredible time touring Morocco with nice, 2-3 day stops in each of the main cities. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like we missed anything! If you are considering a trip to Morocco, you are in for a unique treat. I would highly recommend TourMorocco for all your travel details. As my friend and I were traveling without our husbands, we sought out a travel company and booked a personal driver. Brian, Bethany, and our driver, Ashraf El Nouri, made the trip easy, safe, exciting, personal, and unforgettable. Before we left, Brian helped answer our questions to compile our desired destinations. Bethany helped with travel details and paperwork. We met Ashraf in Casablanca and he quickly became a trusted friend. Over our 11 day journey, he was a safe driver and welcomed our many questions about the culture, language, religion, history, and people. He made sure all our needs were met including opening doors for us and providing bottled water each day. He knew where to withdraw money and where to eat a fantastic, authentic meal. His friendships across the country meant the guides he secured for us in Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fes, Merzouga, Ait Ben Haddou, and Marrakech were all born and raised in their respective towns. The insight they provided was invaluable. Our lodgings were spectacular and the service was kind, polite, and friendly everywhere we went. I especially loved Dar Jasmine, Villa Mandarine, Ksar Elkababba, Riad Madu, and our desert tent in Erg Chebbi. I will say that the human interaction was the most special part of the trip. I loved meeting people from all over the country and seeing how they lived. Having tea in a nomadic Berber tent, taking a cooking class, riding a camel in the Sahara at sunset, crossing the Atlas mountains, experiencing hammam, visiting kitchens and artists' workshops (tile, pottery, carpets, leather), touring gardens, and walking the souks and medinas were highlights. We had a marvelous time in Morocco, and Morocco Tours made it literally flawless. Brian listened carefully to what we wanted, and then delivered.Our driver for the entire two weeks was Oussama. He was an excellent driver and even better company. He was punctual, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and etc. The trip itself was well planned, and ran like Swiss clockwork. Every reservation at a Riad, hotel, tourist spot, and restaurant was correct and good. Cannot recommend these folks more.

Our two week trip to Morocco was two years in the making. Bethany and Jeff were terrific developing an itinerary that limited time in the car and allowed more time exploring close to our accommodations. Our driver Ali was terrific and truly managed our daily activities. Our local guides were all so nice and knowledgable. I would suggest booking the highest level of accommodations your budget allows. There is no way I could have planned or executed this trip without the expert guidance of Morocco Tours. Thanks to all!

Accommodation was beautiful, Dades desert was a bit of a tourist production line. Amazing cities and history. The vehicle was very comfortable but the driver we had over shadowed the good experiences. He started by telling us how he killed cats, beat up his sister, and how all his other clients gave him a lot of money.... Maybe if we weren't two middle age women travelling with out our husbands it might have been different. ALOT OF TIPPING EXPECTED!

We SO enjoyed our custom vacation in Morocco, designed by Morocco Tours, built around the places we wanted to see, and the things we wanted to do. Our personal guide picked us up at the airport, brought us everywhere, kept us safe, fed, watered, entertained, and blew us away with his knowledge of the land and its history. All of our accomodations were comfortable and beautiful, and we especially enjoyed our camel ride in the Sahara and our (very fancy) camping there.
