Is montecwear.com Legit?

I am 5'6" so ordered the XS Fawk jacket. It falls mid thigh, not just over the hip. Way to long. This could fit someone 5'10" if they were thin enough. Sleeves are long also. Just got this so have not used it on the slopes yet. I would return it if I had other options.

I ordered a women's insulated Doom W Snowboard Jacket on 21/10 and it arrived 25/10, I was so pleased with how quick the delivery was and even more pleased when I opened the parcel. I have never ordered from Montec before so wasn't sure what to expect but the coat is absolutely fantastic, the quality is excellent, it fits perfectly and all of the little extras on the coat are great with the hidden zips, pockets etc. The hood is deep and provides great protection, it keeps me warm and feels so comfortable. Would highly recommend this item for the cold weather, and I myself will most likely go to Montec for any future purchases.

I just ordered the Doom W jacket and I love it! There are so many pockets and the quality is great. I was worried about sizing when I ordered because I wanted a looser feel so I had room to move. I ordered the medium and it was perfect! Also I am 5’3 and the length sits just below my butt, so not too long. Shipping was very fast. I will definitely be ordering from Montec again!

ONLY salvaged by great customer services team - (and stuff is cool looking) Been sent the wrong jacket twice now. Not even the right colour, size and even had a Dope jacket delivered just. Someone needs the chop in warehouse/despatch as their stock check must be so far out. Wasted a day sat waiting on UPS delivery as needed signature and time slot kept moving until eventually cancelled until the next day so days pay lost. (Not Montecs fault) but when you pay for upgraded shipping make “your” supplier accountable for fulfilling their contractual obligations as cost £15 extra.

Absolutely love my Montec order! Best ski gear I’ve ever had. Tired on so many different brands before I can across Montec and honestly nothing compares to the comfort, fit and style like theirs! As a tall lady it’s hard to come across snow gear which fits great in length and is still flattering, but Montec ticks all the boxes!! It’s easy to return items as well so no harm in giving it a try! Delivery was much quicker than expected, nicely packed and got some cool Montec stickers as well. Overall, a fantastic experience and exceptional clothing!

I can only say that I am delighted. Bought these products: Moss W and Fawk W, both in Blue Steel/Black size S. Regarding the size, I was very doubtful because I like to be loose, I listened to Montec's suggestion and they hit the nail on the head. As for the quality, I cannot give my opinion because I have not used it yet, at first glance the material looks correct but I would like to highlight how comfortable it is (even if only at home) and the number of pockets. Finally, shipping really took 3 business days, there was no problem. thanks a lot!!

I bought the insulated Moss Ski Jacket and can’t recommend MONTEC more in terms of their product or customer service. The jacket has been great so far this season, extremely comfortable and easy to layer. And for such a reasonable price, making my purchase even sweeter. I bought the wrong size initially but the team at MONTEC made the returns process seamless for me. We used Montecwear for our skydiving experience in Antarctica -We got all our layers/headwear/buffs and socks from Montec. They were fast to deliver despite being bank holiday/new year time. It really was all we needed to be prepared for the cold & dry Antarctic weather. We were so comfortable. Very glad with the decision to use Montecwear for Our expedition.

I got the Doom 2020 jacket which was on sale! What an absolute stunning quality jacket. The seems are perfectly taped, feels super comfy. I was really impressed with the value for money, I have tried a few other jackets which non could touch sides with the value for money. I had one issue which was a little bit light on the insulation of the jacket however they did disclaim that this was a medium insulated jacket. I would reccomend going with a heavier insulated Jacket just incase it get super cold. Non the less, if your looking for high value for money, stunning looking gear look no further.

I bought a pair of Roast Mittens prior to my first ski/boarding trip. I was very impressed with them and the design looks slick. Unfortunately the tightening-strap broke halfway through my trip and I had to resort to tying a knot in the strap.On return home from my trip I happened to have an e-mail from Montec asking how my gloves were, I explained the problem and sent a photo and they offered to replace them and a new pair was shipped out the same-day. Great customer service left me feeling valued and I will likely return to them for further ski-gear as I expand my wardrobe!

Fantastic jacket at a fantastic price!! I have the Fawk Insulated Jacket in red and it is amazing! I normally buy new jackets every year and this is my 3rd year with this one! I use it daily; wash it regularly; and it still looks brand new! The quality is exceptional! It has large chest pockets, a media pocket, an internal goggle pocket, seam sealed zippers throughout, a great powder skirt that stays in place, and thumb inserts at the end of the sleeves. I have put more than 1,500,000 vertical feet in this jacket and its still going! I am looking at buying another one to get a different color.

I now have a collection of FIVE of these fleeces across the Montec and DOPE brands.... and I don't even ski or snowboard! It's the PERFECT layer for any outdoor activity (hiking/camping/fishing) or just chilling at home and saving on heating bills. LOVE LOVE LOVE... please bring out some more colours like navy, brown, maybe some brights/neons!Genuine feedback from a very happy customer xxx

I placed my order Dec 8 with delivery to Vancouver, BC and received it Dec 14.Extremely happy and satisfied with my purchase. Everything fits perfectly (I'm size 38, ordered M). I love the Montec style and material is great. I understand the Dope Snow is somehow connected to Montec (both brands are under Ridestore) and I'm planning to get my outwear there as well.

I absolutely adore my new Montec Doom jacket. As a tall person at 6'6, it can be difficult to find clothes that fit me well, but this jacket is perfect. The thing I love most about it is that it has plenty of accessible pockets, which allows me to keep my belongings safe and close at hand. Additionally, it is very warm, which is great for cold winter days. I am really thrilled with my purchase and can only recommend this jacket to anyone who is looking for a high-quality and comfortable piece of clothing.

Very helpful customer service who explained what the issue was, however I still spent over an hour trying to find a pair of salopettes/ski pants in my size. The website would display it as available, I’d think excellent, then go to check out and it is no longer available to purchase. This happened multiple times on multiple different items. For an item you’re willing to spend over £200 you should not have to go through such a frustrating process. There is clearly an issue somewhere between website availability updates and genuine stock available. I have ended up buying a coat and pants combo at a cost of £450 elsewhere sadly despite really liking their gear. Their sister company Dope Snow runs the same website system so may very well be the same.

Montec customer service is some of the best out there. I've spoken to them about size restocking, fit, returns, refunds, you name it, and they are always extremely friendly and quick to find a solution. Plus, the products are really high quality, especially for their price point. All other retailers can take a lesson from Montec customer service.
