“Items arrive already bent and damaged”

I ordered several items of stationery on the given site and they arrived here already bent and damaged because of being shipped in a used cheap paper sleeve, pictures below. Customer Service does not respond after almost 5 days. But they insist on a ridiculous 7 days for potential claims. “Wonderful variety and cutely wrapped!”

I've ordered from modeS twice now and both times I was extremely pleased with my purchases. Both times my shipments arrived within the time-frame that I was told they would, the items were cutely wrapped, a free gift was included, and the items were as adorable as they look online. I really appreciate the obvious effort that is put into wrapping orders for customers and the wonderful variety of cute items that are made available on the website. I plan to make another purchase from modeS soon! :)

The delivery was very quick and the item i ordered (a little plush cat) even came in a cute bag with a free gift! They have really cute toys and other items, love them and i'd buy again from this shop :)

I love to shop at modeS for all my cute stuff needs (and wishes) because of their great selection. The shipping takes a while because it's from over seas, but it comes in a lovely package and sometimes includes little bonus goodies! :)

I ordered plush dolls for my niece and one was received slightly damaged due to bad transportation caused by the postal service. Upon arrival I contacted them if I could replace this item. They simply offered me a free replacement which i did not expect. Therefore i am quite happy with their service and will recommend them! Great customer support!

“Almost 4 months and I still haven't received my order.”

I placed an order on May 19,2020 and, as of September 1, I still haven't received it. I've asked repeatedly for a refund and they refuse. They keep saying it's on the way. In an email they said,"We ship from Hong Kong, therefore, it takes at the moment due to COVID-19 between 4-8 weeks to arrive. Please be patient." This is ridiculous! It's been a lot longer than 8 weeks. Do not trust this site! If you must buy from them, go through their Etsy store. You have a better chance of getting your money back if you go through Etsy.

I have been using this online store for almost 10 years now and I love the wide selection of fabrics they have. I especially like the fact that there are so many cute and beautiful designs to choose from. The quality of fabric is also very high and includes organics. As an art teacher, I am always looking for eye-catching materials to use with my students, so modes4you is perfect! Finally the customer care is outstanding - they always respond to any problems in a generous and caring way and all the orders I have made arrived on time and in completed form.

I am really satisfied with my purchase. They have a large number of very cute fabric and stuff. The prices are cheap compared to other shops. Usually you have to wait some weeks till your purchase came and sometimes you have to wait even longer because the package is laying in the customs authority.

Great products at great prices but customer service is poor in my opinion. Staff take a long time to reply to emails and no apology for mistakes or delays. Need to improve communication and be more customer focused.

“Very hard to find items for a great price”

Literally couldn't find this toy anywhere else. Not only do they have everything, but very fair prices too. The people who run the business are so sweet and reached out to make sure that we were happy.

I've ordered various Japanese goodies from modeS4u over the past year because they have a great selection. Shipping is affordable, but can sometimes take a while since everything is being shipped from Hongkong. I never had to contact the customer service, so I can't say anything about that. Four stars (instead of 5) because there doesn't seem to be a mobile version of the site, so navigating it on my smartphone doesn't really work. For the past three years people have been spending more time online on their phones than on computers, so online shops should catch up and provide their customers with a decent mobile experience.

“Not your typical fabric shop”

Most fabric shops sell their fabrics in meters or in yards (where 1 unit would mean 1 meter or 1 yard). While it's stated in the website, most people who have never bought from this place before would probably assume the price stated is per metre or yard. Only upon receiving my order did I realize that this shop sells their fabric in units of 0.5m. It feels a little bit "misleading" as they were not very clear when we were selecting the fabric units. The shipment was fast but I wouldn't buy from them again. I've purchased many fabrics from many places and this is the first time I've ever encountered such a way of selling whereby 1 unit = 0.5m. I bought a rilakkuma pencil case from this shop after months of searching for one that was not hugely overpriced and/or had soul crushing shipping fees. Website was super cute and easy to use, and the payment system seemed really secure. I received my package which was also cute but more importantly, in good condition. Overall, great experience and I finally got what I was looking for :)

I absolutely love ordering from modes4u, I have done for a number of years. The photos are always accurate in describing the fabrics, there's free shipping on orders over 60 and considering that the package comes from Hong Kong, it doesn't ever take too long to arrive to me in Ireland. This time around, I got some cotton fabrics to make bags with, but I also ordered from knit fabrics and some ribbing. I'm hoping to make a hoodie from the cat faces fabric, it's gonna look great! Also, modes4u is my favourite place to get my fix of Alexander Henry fabrics. I've never had a problem with ordering from this site, so I've never had to contact customer service. My first order was in 2012, so I would consider that a great thing. Will definitely be ordering again!
