mobily.com.sa Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives mobily.com.sa a pretty low trust score on the platform: 16.8. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 16.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to mobily.com.sa's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning mobily.com.sa, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between mobily.com.sa and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of mobily.com.sa. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of mobily.com.sa, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. mobily.com.sa is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether mobily.com.sa has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether mobily.com.sa boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, mobily.com.sa.

I was told that I have purchased a one month sim with 300min and 48gb , I paid the Rs104 for this package. Unfortunately it is only a week and I have no data and no minutes, I never even used the data and it just all deleted. These people are scammers.
Do not buy your SIM cards from Mobily if youre looking for a temporary SIM whilst in Saudi Arabia. The stall holders are scammers. You think youve bought the package you want but later find out that they gave you a cheaper inferior package at which point its too late. Customer service are unhelpful and refer you back to the stall holders. Avoid them at all costs and save the hassle.
The most fraud network in Saudi. I paid my last bill and asked for disconnection on september 5, 2018 before i go to vacation there in mobily taiba madina branch, i even paid twice there and they gave my last fatura and i returned the simcard to them. The last receipt is with me with the emails followed up i sent to them for disconnection. But until now its almost 5years theyre messaging me to pay more than 500 riyals balance. Haram! Stop scamming the expats. Astagfillah.
Warning: Renewing your Fiber Internet subscription with Mobily may be a trap! I was lured by tempting offers to renew the contract, but my experience was unbelievably bad. After renewing the contract, the internet service was disconnected three times in a span of 5 months without any reason, and repairing it was delayed for up to 10 days without compensation. The company justifies this by claiming a lack of technical support, yet they offer same-day installation for new customers! Beware! They do this on purpose because their contract states that if you stop the service for any reason, you have to pay a fine exceeding 1000 riyals.
Unethical and Unprofessional, asking me to pay 2,500 SR for a line that I disconnected and paid last March 2018 (3 yr line). Its already been 2 years and out of nowhere they're saying there was a penalty. So respectfully, I asked for details or a breakdown of those "fees" on thier main branch, call center and even their social accounts but they can't produce one. Just a vague line, "Please inform the customer that the calculated penalty clause is correct." So they're like just milking money from their previous customers?
They are sending me someone else bills and contract details from past 2 years. I tried emailing their support and once the support confirmed to me that my email have been removed from their database but i am still receiving their emails. I AM NOT THEIR CUSTOMER but i do believe they are pathetic if they cant handle such trivial matters.
If there's 0 star I will give -0 for the very bad experience just this morning from one of the customer service in mobily khobar branch!! He's very rude instead of listening for our concerns he just insisting what we need to pay. And then walk out . Added to the 0 star review is that we avail this mobily plan with supposed to be 5members but we are only four but still paying the amount of 5 members. We paid one month prior from that very moment that we avail the package and now that we cut the package we supposed to pay only 1 month that we even not use because no connection anymore but here they are asking us to pay 2mos. So disappointed for their service and everything .
Very unprofessional staff. When I entered into the shop I was standing for 5 minutes and nobody bothered to serve me. There were 5 advisors sitting and having fun with eachother, at last I had to ask them if anyone is serving and then one of them waved his hand rudely and called me on the counter. When I asked him show me the packages her didn't respond and gave me the paper to read. These people are very rude and have no sense how to deal with the customers. No greeting and all were talking with each other in Arabic. The shop was located in front of Gate no 79 of Masij al haram.
Mobily attempted $15.33 charge to my BOA credit card. Completely fraudulent fron goat maters from Saudi Arabia. Thanks to BofA security for catching this blatant FRAUD!
I went to Mobily centre King Fahad Road, just for information to have a new prepaid SIM. The gentleman named Naif F Alfanzi welcomed me. I asked him to give me information and he took my iqama. Later on he asked me to pay SAR 250 without informing me and asking me any plan. On being asked he said sorry he couldn't cancel because he had already entered into the system. I did not need that plan which he was going to give me because I don't have any friends or families to call in Saudi Arabia. I could have any new SIM from STC or even Zain just for SAR 50 while I had to pay five times for no reason. I am not happy with their service because they just want to make business as much as they can without asking their customers. I will never reccoment Mobily to anyone.
Scammers never heard of them and my bank picked up suspicious activity. They have tried to take obscene amounts from my account and ive had to change all my passwords and block my account because of them.be warned.
My chase declined $3.07. I live in the United States I don’t live over seas. You charged my card for that amount so the fraud dept picked it up! It’s annoys me because I need to get a new card and change info with drs and bills. Stop trying to steal info. I don’t care if you fight bad reviews apparently you are listed as fraud!
Our credit card had a fraudulent charge of $15.34 from Mobily. Bank of America removed the charge and issued us a new card.
Fraudulent company. Got a fraud alert from my debit card, they tried to steal money from my account
It's been 16 days since our fibre optic internet service went off. TVs, laptops, phones all dependent on it. Kids had exam papers and one daughter working from home. I missed world cup games and had to use data throughout. We all called the customer services people. After long waits we would get through to find unhelpful individuals. In the first few instances, they said they would send engineers and as per contract this could take 5 days. They came two days later but told us they could not fix it as a new box was required and someone would come in evening to fix. Nobody came. Then constant calls to Mobily customer service including on WhatsApp, sometimes several times in the day as nothing would get done. We kept following up. One customer service rep actually said we should get and pay for some other service if it was so important to us! So why were we paying for their service!! Asked competitor STC if they could service but no fibre optic in our area. However, given exams and work needs ended up.buying an STC sim with a WiFi device for over SAR 2,000. Works OK. But still no Mobily fibre optic working! Constantly follow up. Reply from them was "either you called us before and complaint is already open", "entire area affected" (not true as our neighbours with Mobily were unaffected), "go get another service" or latest is "fibre connection cut" (so why no others are affected?). Never ending excuses. But nobody has come to physically check in last 16 days except 2 times early on when they said they could not fix it but that another team would come to fix it same day or within 24 hours. I am not sure who is in charge of overall customer service or technical services, but they need to get their head out of sand or get fired based on the reviews I've seen seen and our own experience if that is anything to go by! Is the CEO even aware of service problems or do the management lie to him too? The Mobily people provide terrible customer and technical support! They should be ashamed but probably don't even care....
Mobily charged my BoA credit card $15.33 on Christmas Eve also. Never heard of them. Theft.
Used for fraud charge on my credit card. BOA immediately flagged it!
This company has history of scamming customers and then harassing them afterward. I strongly recommend seeking services from a different company.
I am giving 1 star that is also more I went in Mobily store with my friend to ask regarding internet package near kingdom tower store after that I was sitting inside of store and watching package to decide buy than the security guy suddenly start saying why you are siting go worst experience 5 years using Mobily sim convert into zain thank you
Very bad services, Internet not stable

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
