mister-auto.ie Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives mister-auto.ie a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to mister-auto.ie's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning mister-auto.ie, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between mister-auto.ie and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of mister-auto.ie. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of mister-auto.ie, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. mister-auto.ie is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether mister-auto.ie has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether mister-auto.ie boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, mister-auto.ie.

Absolutely shocking service I've rang three times beennon hold a total of ninty minutes nothing. When u select the option u want they say sorry didn't under stand and make you select again. This number listed for dublin 018420000 cuts out after 30 sec. 35314361000 doesn't even ring and if you remove the 353 assuming it's a dublin land line it's the number for Google. Id get better customer service as an irish cathloic in the British empire.
Still cannot reach customer care. Parts arrived nearly a week after what was stated. Also wrong parts came. The customer phone line is just an automated recording that fobs you off and doesn’t provide any service what’s so ever. Will never use again!!
Its a scam website, ordered parts 4 weeks ago parts never arrived, help line not answer. AVOID!!!!!!!
I ordered a car battery in Switzerland from Mister-Auto. It was actually delivered to a depot about 10 miles away from home and I wasn’t informed but the Swiss DPD delivery company do not deliver batteries. I later found out that my battery had been sent back to France via Chronopost that are equally unreliable. Customer Service told me not to worry, they would send another. It’s been 10 days… and my car without a battery. I just received an email from Mister-Auto France saying they would refund ! It would have been much cheaper buying a battery from an expensive garage. These people are dangerous.
I will not be dealing with mr. Auto again It's a pity because their prices are goodBut as they deal mainly with European car which are LEFT hand drive the parts may not fit irish carsWhen you return the part and it's accepted they don't always return your money Customerservice is useless and sometimes rude
I have just ordered driver side mirror but now thinking that could be a left hand mirror your sending I need right hand mirror picked driver side which in ireland is right hand side but in France it's left just want to makecsure I'm receiving the correct part
Sent product to wrong address - no idea how that happens since I provided Eircode as well. Then Customer Services number just a recorded message that doesn't go anywhere and hangs up on you. Utter bullsh*t organisation, and not worth the hassle. Likely all grey-import copy stuff as well.
Paid for priority shipment (19 April), took a week to even get dispatched (25 April), then I receive an email (26 April) to tell me half the parts from my order will be delayed even further. No reason for the delay, no updated delivery date. Customer service have no information to be of any use.Never going to use them again.
I was a little reluctant to purchase from this company, based on the reviews I read. However, I did and was very pleased. The use of ".ie" in the web address is annoying as they are obviously not an Irish company, but they are European/EU (no import duty) with excellent prices and a reasonable delivery time (ordered on the 29th April, Delivered on the 7th May - not fast but still good and could have paid for faster but was not in a rush). The website is easy to navigate and you are guided by the make and model of your car. I would definitely use this service again.
Wanted to inquire about the return policy just to be on the safe side. Only form of contact on the website is a phone number that dials to somewhere in the middle of nowhere. First I get hit with a pre-recorded message with a thick Russian accent, then I am informed they can't connect me, then a pre-recorded voice asks me to make a choice again, after that I get hit with Italian. After all this and a long wait nobody pick up and if I stay on the line long enough even the cheap elevator music stops and I am hung up on. DEFINATELY won't be spending my money there, big scam / give us your money and don't reach out vibes.
I'll admit, I was a little worried about ordering from Mister-Auto after seeing some negative reviews. However, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! My car battery arrived incredibly fast – a day earlier than expected – and it's been working flawlessly. The ordering process was straightforward too. Definitely a positive experience that turned my initial concerns around.
Worst company I've ever dealt with AVOID AVOID at all costs ,ordered part arrived late,it was wrong side of car, they asked me to send it back with prepaid sticker,3 weeks later they say they never received it and I'm 100 down now and no part thanks for nothing
I have dealt with mister auto for over 10 years now had some issues over that time but all resolved to my satisfaction. Have cheap parts and have quality parts which are more expensive of course have found that once package leaves France is not trackable until it is in Ireland out for delivery , have had some issues with DPD not delivering and saying no one home when in fact I was waiting for them ! Have found their customer service very helpful and very approachable! Have dealt with well known Irish website over that time too and also had issues with them which were resolved too . If you need a part in a hurry not the site for you! But bear in mind where they are based ! If you want good value definitely the place for you! But watch the price as it fluctuates maybe daily sometimes and can sometimes get great value ! Thank you miterauto!
Worst service ever. Customer service does not exists. Paid for faster order processing, got refunded in a form of a voucher. Ordered on a 5th of this month, estimated delivery shown as 11th, today is 16th and still don't know where my package is. Will never order again. As an addition to Mr. Auto's reply on 23rd of April 2024, i have never held parcel in my hands as i have never received it. I don't know what you sources are, but this is complete lie. Not only you failed to deliver my order, also you're lying that i have received it and sent it back. If i had my order delivered i would never asked for a refund.
Great service, customer care is first class with quick response times. Non OEM parts such as Bolk have been excellent quality, no complaints after 18 months of use (brake pads)Prices are very good with delivery in around 7 working days, use Aftership to track orders through the system.Would recommend.
Ordered a battery & some filters explained it would be delivered Monday, great I THOUGHT ! Wednesday now no update via tracking apparently in France? Even Mister auto don't know were my items are ? This company seriously needs to get its act together or cease trading, total nightmare. Told the company I'm going away on holiday next week.UPDATE......I have been in constant commuinaction with you ! Shame I cannot upload Screenshots. Take a look at your feedback, just wished I checked trustpilots reviews before ordering.
Just bought brake caliper (rear, driver side), first of all paid for prime delivery, got refund because didn't happened. Got delivered even 2 days after initial time.Opened box and...wrong side...I ordered on Mister-auto.ie and believe they should know what side is driver side in Ireland even dispatch is from continental Europe. Sorry don't see myself bying anything from them again.
This is the third time I bought car stuff from them. Very good price in comparison with others online. Make sure you cross-check the part number before purchasing as the same car registration would be returned by different variations of your car model.
Wrong size ball joints for my ford focus, I didn't realize till I attended to hub only to turn out the tapered pin is too small and can't tighten. I've used mister auto for years with good results despite slow delivery. I've used email and there app to communicate in the past, but I'm unable to find any sorse of communication online bar telephone line which is now closed.
So I paid for priority handling and fast shipping on an important clutch part .5 days later the item was still not dispatched .After a phone call though i recieved a genuine apology and the part arrived the following day so I was pissed off at first but they rectified it in good faith as soon as I got in contact . Still think I should be refunded the priority charges or at least given a ( stackable ) voucher. Hope my next order will go better or I'll have to give up on Mister Auto

“I order part, it wasn't delivered, I ask for refund...”

I order part, it wasn't delivered, I ask for refund 12 days ago, nothing so far, they keep my bank details and I even can delete them, it comes automatically back, I don't know any more suspissios then that.Do not go there, or you are in troubles like me.

“Mister-Auto's support team is a fake!”

Mister-Auto's support team is a fake! They couldn't handel such a simple thing when packages got damaged during their UPS-transportation, but even worse -the promised refund was totally messed up. Their support team dont manage to understand Mister-Auto's own processes, they can't see or understand in what way the money has been returned by themselves... Needless to say, DO NOT BUY FROM MISTER-AUTO unless you like problems!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
