militaryheritage.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives militaryheritage.com one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 11.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 11.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to militaryheritage.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning militaryheritage.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between militaryheritage.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of militaryheritage.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of militaryheritage.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. militaryheritage.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether militaryheritage.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether militaryheritage.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, militaryheritage.com.

“Hire more staff.”

Answering all E-mails with a automated replay system is just bad customer service. Customers want answers. If your orders & supplies are that backed up, then hire more staff. I seem to have been waiting for ever for you to get the 1816 Springfield in supply again. Ordering system needs updating.

“Baker Rifle”

Ordered a baker rifle from these guys, 2 days later it had been dispatched and within a week it was in my hands. Which is fast shipping from Canada to the UK especially with customs being involved on both ends. Quality of the rifle is amazing, I don't know why people are negative about them. It looks accurate, it sparks every time, all the components seem solid and sturdy. Next to my 102 year old Lee Enfield it looks like it belongs. Reviews can't do it justice, it's tge business.

“Ceased Trading?”

So, just over TWO months ago I placed an order for an " in stock" item. I had the automated response saying my order had been received. But, yep you guessed it still nothing. I honestly believe that they must have gone to the wall. No company could be this crap and still be trading. Zero stars. Do not bother with them. Rob C. Disappointed and dissatisfied customer.

“I bought a 1795 Springfield from this website”

I bought a 1795 Springfield from this website. Wow. I spoke with a really nice and well informed guy on the phone, put in my order, and it was on its way a couple of days later. UPS annoyed me a bit at my end but not the website's fault. Got it anyway. Got the vent drill and fired perfectly the first pull of the trigger. I'm really happy, considering other sites sell it for 600 bucks more! They are in Canada but I saw no difference than ordering from a US dealer. We're one big happy family IMO:-)

“Sea service pistol”

I bought a sea service pistol from military heritage, it looks nice however the lock is junk. The trigger pull was extremely hard so bad my wife could not fire it at all. I did some light filing and fixed that part If looks like the lock was just roughed in not finished, the distance between half $#*! and full $#*! is very small When fired the stroke is so small it just barely sparks. I tried calling never a answer and no reply to emails? It looks like i will need to get custom gunsmith work done to this pistol to get it right. Would have saved money Had i bought this pistol from a reputable dealer. No customer service at all? Beware!

“Poor to no customer service”

I placed an order for a cavalry officer's sword earlier this year. Have not received yet. I have emailed them several times and get the same response each time - that they are busy and will send when they can but so far I have received nothing. I would not waste time or money with this outfit.

“They never return phone calls or Emails.”

I love my Brown Bess musket and Sea service Pistol that I bought from them a year ago. I called them and Emailed them numerous times to ask a few questions that I had. They never returned any of my calls or Emails. Very poor customer service!

“Excellent Service”

A couple months ago I called about a musket I had been looking at on the site. I spoke to Robert, who was immensely helpful. I regularly deal with out-of-country companies and have yet to deal with one that offers the personalized service I received from Military Heritage. I received my order in very quick time and am very pleased with the product. Thank you Robert. I strongly recommend Military Heritage.

“Great customer service and communication”

I email ordered a musket for my son who changed his mind twice. I had to email cancel the order twice and Peter was quite understanding with his responses. Finally ordered the correct 1806 Baker on Dec. 13 and that afternoon received UPS notification that the musket was received and would be delivered on Dec. 16! Great customer service.

“NOT FOR EVERYONE”

I ordered a french fusil de chasse from Robert a year ago.He was very helpful and the musket arrived quickly and well packaged. It took alot of tuning to get shooting correctly. There are a couple of youtube videos describing the whole process. I wouldnt recommend everybody go this route unless very familiar with home gunsmith techniques. Robert supplies a good product at a great price. I love my french fusil and it would have cost twice the price for a pedersoli or three times the price for a custom gun. I ordered over the phone but I would not order without actually speaking with him personally he is very busy and the order may not be processed.

“The guys working there are great”

The guys working there are great. Really nice and knowledgeable. I had a bunch of history questions before buying a musket and saber. They answered them all. It felt like Christmas when the package showed up. Musket a great sparker and sword was super well-made with great balance. I sharpened it myself and have been cutting watermelons for grins. My only complaint is they used annoying sterofoam peanuts. But they told they going to replace them with different packing stuff.

“Extremely Poor Customer Service”

I'd give the zero stars if I could. I've sent this company two email requests over a weeks time requesting info regarding their Shin-Guntos. They lack the professionalism to respond to my requests. I can only imagine how their service regarding orders is. Smh

“NW chiefs trade gun”

Was quite disappointed in the product received. Was no where near the gun pictured in add. Stock was painted black and of very poor quality.Inletting good but stock was like a fence post. Very crude work. Thought about buying another gun but want waste my money. Products used:Firearms Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Great customer service and quick delivery of my 1728 French musket.”

Overall, I'm very pleased with service and quick delivery of my musket. Packaging could be better with more bubble wrap. My box had a hole in it where it had been dropped on the barrel end during shipment. No damage. Upon examination the gun has nicks and scratches on the finish metal and wood and is teakwood, not walnut; but that was explained to me before buying. Looks like a India Made rifle but the lock appears strong and well made. Hey... for a start up gun for Reenacting it is what it is for $545.00. Dixie sells their Itialian version for $1500, but not everyone can afford that much just getting out fitted for French Indian War Reenacting. It's a good gun that appears to be suited for field use and if you get a scratch, your not so inclined to cry for the money spent. Walnut stock would be nicer I think. Overall, it's worth what you pay but it want take any blue ribbons for being flawless.

“Poor Service! ------> Product never shipped”

I kept checking the web page for when the MTS-016 English Dragoon Pistol was back in stock. After months, it finally showed back in stock. I ordered right away. The email stated "If the product in stock it normally takes 3-5 Business Days to process and ship your order." A month went by with no notices from Military Heritage (Access Heritage Inc.) I finally emailed them about my order. Robert emailed me back after a week stating "We are presently sold out of the Dragoon pistols but expect a new shipment in the next 10 days." I emailed Robert back stating "I have been checking the web site to see when the "MTS-016 English Dragoon Pistol" was available and ordered it when the page did not show "temporarily out of stock". I checked today and it still does not state out of stock. Is the web page not correct?" Robert replied a few days later, "They just arrived not two hours ago. We will be shipping yours out to you in the next few days." Two weeks go by with no notice of shipment so I email them again, "Can someone provide an update on my order?" Robert replied,"Sorry for the delay. I had marked your order as filled but it was not! Totally my fault and I sincerely apologize. Just processed payment and sent your order to the warehouse to ship as soon as possible." I replied back, "Considering how sloppy your company has handled my order, I would like a full refund. It just is not worth it and I have no trust in your company. Please provide a receipt of the full refund." I would not recommend purchasing from this company. Tip for consumers:I would not recommend purchasing from this company. Products used:Asked for refund Service Shipping

“No contact by phone or email”

Good luck trying to reach anyone by phone or email. You never get a live person. They don't return calls or emails. Very strange. Cancelled my order via credit card company.

“Exactly what I expected”

Took about 2 weeks from the time I ordered an in stock item. I called and asked about the order procedure and they were very helpful. Item sub-shipped from a MA address but it arrived quickly! Products used:Gun Service Value Shipping Quality

“Just cancelled my order, after 3 weeks with no word”

Ordered August 29th and now it`s September 20th. Ordered 18th century gentlemen`s flintlock pistol. E-mailed 4 times with no response. Called once and left a message with no response. Just cancelled my order. What a joke. If you can`t run your business for whatever reason, THEN SAY THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. Stop selling items as usual. If you don`t have something in stock and have to wait for it, THEN DON`T LIST IT AS 'IN STOCK'. There no excuses for treating customers this way. These are just basic principles of running a business. You can`t just let the orders pour in, then not answer any questions, and let weeks pass with no contact. I can`t believe these people are somehow still in business. Tip for consumers:Don`t bother wasting your time with these people. I have friends who also have struggled to get any responses from them. “Good service, great shotgun, but very involved to make it shoot”

I Bought the Capt Cook Flintlock Double barrel shotgun. Ordered on 14 Dec., delivered to Huntsville, Al 21 Dec. Pretty fast shipping! I emailed a report of a small nick in the wood and concerns about the breech plugs being about 1/2" short of the pans when measured from muzzles. Got prompt response from John and even an offer to extend the return period and call the gunsmith to walk him through the vent drilling process. Very generous! I took the gun to my now ex gunsmith. He announced the gun was not made to be fired. John had informed me that the breech plugs were cut at an angle where the vent holes were to be drilled. This was an error. The plugs screw up into the barrels and then are soldered to a top and bottom rib to match the barrels. The vents must go through the breech plugs themselves. They are solid, however and block the barrels 1/2" ahead of the pans. Ignorance of the product one sells is not a good thing, but is the only fault I can find with the company. The plugs must be removed, bored to depth like a patent breech, and then drilled for flash holes, reassembled and resoldered to their ribs. Once done, this is a very nice gun. I hope the company learns this product and modifies its description on the web site to indicate how involved making it shoot is.

“Ordered online, got no confirmation”

Ordered online, got no confirmation. Emailed for status a week later, no response. Emailed a week after that, no response. Called and left message, no response. Ordered from a different vendor.

“No answer, nos goods, bull$#*!”

Ordered online as Ed. G, got no confirmation. Emailed for status a week later, no response. Emailed a week after that, no response. Emailed a third time to no avail. To avoid absolutely

“18th Century Blunderbuss”

I, at first assumed the display image was probably "photo-shopped" a bit for advertising purposes. Was I ever wrong! The firearm I received is excellent in all respects. Shipment was 1 week from order time too. It has just enough minor imperfections to enhance the appearance and add to the "patina" of the vintage look. I did drill the touch hole and made the blunderbuss functional. It does shoot as good as it looks too. 69 caliber/14ga. Bore, and I used 70g of 2F powder, a. 695 wad, 7/8 ounce of 7.5 shot, and a. 695 shot card. I fired a total of 4 shots, from 25 yards to my target, and the pattern was about 30 inches in diameter. I placed the pattern one on top of the other, shot after shot. Perfect! The ONLY complaint I have is that I managed to crack the ramrod at a fibrous spot in the wood. Nothing Gorilla Glue didn't resolve though. I would not hesitate to buy from Military Heritage again, and I plan to as soon as I decide what I really want next. I'm a relatively active black powder and cartridge gun shooter. I do NOT own any firearm that is a "conversation piece" or "wall-hanger". I always wanted a blunderbuss due to the pirate era mythology. Now I have one and I don't regret it even a little bit. Quirks and malfunctions should be expected from firearm technology that's 200-300 years old. The modern age reproductions can and will have their "hiccups" too.

“Early British doglock musket”

Ordered my doglock musket in. 69 caliber w/42" barrel on the 4th of JuJuly, which was a Saturday. It arrived on Monday, on the 13th. This is the first time I've not only ordered a muzzloader that was not made by a professional maker, it's the first time I've ordered anything from this company. My musket was packaged very well. After opening the box the first part I saw was the unique doglock and how well it was made, and the test of the musket was of the same quality. I am one of those picky and particular guys when it comes to correct period stuff, especially my flintlocks. I've always only had only hand made forelocks made by well known makers, but after researching several companies I decided to take a chance with The Discriminating General. I've always been partial to early English doglock muskets. I thought is this musket looks as good as it did in the promo. Photo, I'll be way ahead because of the excellent price alone. To say I was pleased at what I observed and handled would be an understatement. The fit and finish was as nice about on par with my $2000 dollar custom made Dublin Castle musket made by a well known American builder. Looking very much forward to drilling the touch hole and seeing how it shoots. When I do, I'll write another review on how it preformed. Thank you all for making such fine products available for such amazing prices. Can't wait to show my fellow reenacting friends. I'll be doing business with this fine company again. “Jianyun Xu Dennis Xu dob 04/10/1976 address: 5503 159TH...”

Jianyun Xu Dennis Xu dob 04/10/1976 address: 5503 159TH PL, REDMOND, WA ******* Jianyun xu works in Microsoft Redmond, WA, USA. I have disheartening experience with Jianyun Xu Dennis Xu. I worked with him before. He never gave me any respect. He considered me as a slave, treated me like garbage and used every way he can to abuse, mistreat me. What he did to me were without my knowledge and against my will. I tried my best to commute with him, such as I tried to ask him why he treated me so badly, what was his expectation from me, but he always rejected to commute because he thought I didn't worth him to talk, the only thing I should do is to obey him without any condition, even if his expectation is unreasonable, impossible or unhumane. After I tried my best to stay away from him, he still mistreated me using whatever ways he could find.
