midwestboots.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives midwestboots.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 90.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 90.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to midwestboots.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning midwestboots.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between midwestboots.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of midwestboots.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of midwestboots.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. midwestboots.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether midwestboots.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether midwestboots.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, midwestboots.com.

I tried to return boots for a manufacturing flaw and was told it was a fit problem. I actually called them and talked to a rude customer rep. He wouldn't help. I eventually reached out to Thorogood boots and got them to replace the boots. The 3rd party boot manufacturer managed to eff that up too and sent them to my old job. The 3rd part manufacturer was unresponsive. I only have these boots because my buddy still works there. Go with red wings or save yourself money and time and go buy some trash at walmart. Also, their review website, shopper approved, is a scam and they won't let you review them.
We ordered size 7 boots, but inside the box is a pair of size 17 boot! Called the company and was promised a shipping label. Still don't have the label. Very poor customer service. I was told the label would be sent by noon. Called them and was told the label would be sent by 4 PM. Still don't have label the next day (and checked spam) They don't even care that they messed up! I think they are a bogus company. Would never order again. The 800 customer service number will only help you order - - they don't help with any issues. They won't send the correct boots until we send the wrong boots back.
Returned a pair of boots that sole started falling off in a week and they told me wear and tear no return idk how you wear and tear a steel toe boot in a week but apparently they knew more of what I did than me cause that’s there job apparently there not too good at there job
when I received the boots I liked the look but upon trying them on the tongue area was stitched all the way thru kinda difficult to adjust. i tried them trying to see if i could get used to it but no i then saw i could exchange so i ordered a different pair the next day.i waited just to get the same pair back no explanation i had to write and ask what and why .they stated boots were not resaleable i would love to post a pic. i will never order online again. i buy expensive boots i go thru them quick i own construction company these were $259.i will have to order from my local boot store and wait for their online order. keep theses as an EXPENSIVE REMINDER order local Safer and more Customer Friendly
Other reviews show the same as mine. No other way to describe this company except Scumbags. Returned boots the next day and won't accept them. Tried saying there is scuff marks. Pictures show otherwise. Buy elsewhere! SCAM SCAM SCAM
Returned boots in excellent condition just tried them on and returned them. No matter what they'll make you pay to return them and tell you they're used and scuffed up. They don't care they'll steal your money and say, "tough luck." Save yourself a headache buy your footwear in a store where you can try them on. This company doesn't care about you just your money...
It's not Midwest Boots, it's these Hass boots I bought from them. In a year's time these $200 boots came unstitched, they literally unraveled. I work in a trade with lost of sparks and heat; these office boots they sell called Hass do not perform.
Bought thorogood boots just over 5 months ago they have already ripped at the seams. 1st pair I had lasted 4+ years that's why i bought the same. Well Midwestboots.con says since it's been over a week I'm responsible for S&H. They will attempt to fix the boots 1st, if unfixable they my be able to send a replacement but it will take 3-6 weeks. These are my EMS work boots I cannot be without boots for that long.
They don't accept returns , be aware better off going to a store or order from Amazon ,other wise once you buy and they don't fit or not comfortable your sh_t out of luck.
Boots were over $250 and gave my wife bad blisters after only 15 minutes of wearing them. Tried to exchange them for a larger size and we were told that we were out of luck. There is literally just a single smudge on the bottom of 1 of the boots, but that means it is in "non-exchangeable condition." I called 5 separate times because apparently, "I had to speak to a specific person about this issue" and that person went home early one day, then was sick the other day, then didn't come to work a 3rd day, ect. But when I finally got on the phone with them, they didn't offer any additional info. They just told me "I don't know why they told you to speak with me. They aren't exchangeable." Waste of my time and a huge waste of money.
They lie about return policy. Had to spend over $40 to return boots that killed my feet. Then they wouldn't return my emails or phone calls. Finally after numerous attempts find out they won't do anything for me because I wore them for a few hours. Biggest rip off in the boot world.
I returned boots in new condition with the damaged box i recirved them in and was told they had a scuff on them. Horrible customer service. Do not buy from midwest boots.
I’d give a zero bought 400$ boots. Paid 50$ for next day on a Monday for a job interview apparently next day means a week after you order them. They mostly sell Chinese terribly made boots in the case you order American made boots at a severely hefty price they can’t even get their stuff together to ship themOut for 50$ for 24 hour delivery they can’t even ship them 4 days after you paid for a 24 hour delivery. They then expect you the customer to contact their shipper ups with tracking numbers that are incorrect and they won’t even make the slightest effort to make anything go as per the order you made dumped 4-500. They don’t care about customers they push you into a maddening fight with ups. They do not care how much you spent what you paid for and could care less the expectation of even reasonable service. I would say stay far far away from them. They have no interest in performing for even customers that spent large sums of money. They’re absolutely worthless expect to be lied to expect to be hung up on expect to expect terrible service. If I was buying some Italian high heels at half a k I’d receive at least some service. They’re a co. That doesn’t value customers and doesn’t give a crap what u paid and what their contractional obligations are. Avoid themLike the plague.
Great customer service. Easy return and fast shipping. I got my exchange pair of boots 3 days after midwest received my return.
If the boots dont fit you can return one time. If they dont fit second time you are paying 40 bucks to return. If I would have bought from Amazon I can return no hassle and no cost to me. So why take the chance with midwest. I ordered my size in Throughgood whether proof boots and they were extremally tight, should not be my fault.
Don't believe the return policy. Don't buy from here. Got a horrible pair of shoes for 200 bucks and can't return them. Bought thorogood boots because the were usa made but they were horrible. My feet hurt for 3 days after trying to wear them. I called customer service and was told to send back at my expense, so I did only to have them mailed back to me. They said there was nothing wrong and there was a scuff on the heal. Been buying from here for years never had to return anything the one time I do this is how your treated. Don't do it. Buy local so there's no hassle lime this
Had I known it would cost me 30$ to return the boots I wouldn't have ordered them. It took a week to get them. They had a few scratches when I received them but I didn't care because I knew they would get wrecked the 1st time I wore them to work. But after 20 minutes in my house I didn't like them. And for 265$ I felt they were cheaply made. After sending a bunch of pictures they said send them back but a week later they showed up at my house saying they weren't resealable. BULL!! So many emails back and forth I finally spoke to a manager who said the insurance team said they were worn on the sole( they weren't) not even mentioning the scuffs that were already there as an issue. How come the " insurance team" felt it was ok to sell me boots with scuffs? Isn't the point of having insurance to cover them in case boots are a loss? This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Don't order online from them. And 30$ to return boots is ridiculous!!
Word of advice, Never buy from a company that doesn’t accept returns! Period!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The refund policy is a Catch 22. If you wear the shoes and they WILL NOT return them....they will find a reason to not give you your money back.
Purchased Thorogood work boots. The fit was too big so I exchanged them for a smaller size with no issues. Good price on boots. Would buy from again.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
