miamelon.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives miamelon.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 69.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 69.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to miamelon.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning miamelon.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between miamelon.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of miamelon.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of miamelon.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. miamelon.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether miamelon.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether miamelon.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, miamelon.com.

I purchased a coat, used a store credit from a previous return and paypal. They sent the wrong coat, I complained and they asked for me to return it. I did and they never sent the correct coat or a refund. Emailed them numerous times. Paypal gave me a refund but the store credit was never refunded. I was a big fan of this company too but will never be purchasing another coat. People ask me about where I got my mia melon coats and I just say I don't remember
The returns situation is horrible. I’ve now emailed Tanya three times with no response. There’s a limited time to make returns, but how are we supposed to do so and collect a refund if they never respond? Only gave a second star because the coats do seem to be of wonderful quality. It’s just that neither of them fit us so unfortunately we need to return (if Tanya ever writes me back…)
I ordered a raincoat for my husband’s birthday and they emailed me and said they did not have that coat but I could choose another one. I told them that I preferred to be refunded my $199.00 and I have not been refunded nor have they responded to my 5 emails. Doesn’t look like I will receive my money back. It has been almost 3 months with no response.
I really wish this company made it easier to return items that don't work. It seems bizarre that I have to email Tanya and wait for her to respond. Why not do as most other companies do and have all that info linked to your order to make it easy. I ordered the skylar jacket and sized up (as suggested) and it's WAY too big. I have emailed Tanya twice and had no response. So, I had to write a review as it seems the only way to get a response.
The experience started out a little rocky, as I ordered a medium coat for our pup but got an xs, and then it took a while to get a response. When I did get one, Tanya was fantastic. Customer service recovery really makes all the difference. Some companies know that (thanks, Mia Melon) and go the extra mile to turn things around. The coats ordered for me and my pupper are both fanastic. Great quality and style!
Our order arrived with very fast shipping! One item received was too small. It took a second email to receive the RA required for the return and exchange, but then that happened within minutes! The quality of the raincoats was wonderful, as it was years ago when we first discovered this company. The fabric is substantial with a very nice visual texture and the two colors received were lovely. The insulated coats are so practical. But with the two styles ordered --Whitney and Stella -- we had to go up one size on each to fit.
Never responded to a pre-purchase question I sent about six weeks ago about sizing and features on a jacket I wanted to buy. Pinged three times and still no response. From what I can tell any positive comments on customer service submitted recently may be generated by the company itself because there's no indication they reply to emails and have no working phone numbers. ...and the response below confirms my negative review. I checked my emails and three were sent to the email indicated, and surprise, surprise, no responses. I recommend that if you want to purchase from this vendor, plan to communicate through Trustpilot because a negative review appears to be the only thing that prompts a response. Caveat Emptor way big time!
Top notch customer service from Tanya. She truly went above and beyond helping me decide the best jacket for my fishing trip up north and besides her fast ,professional service, the Justin jacket is truly waterproof and perfect. i will be referring my buddys to Tanya for help on their next jacket, thanks Tanya!
Don't buy from this company. I bought a coat a few years ago and it was great. I wanted to reorder the same coat recently and the sizing had changed. The new coat was much smaller. I have been trying to return it for a month and still waiting on a response from Tonya.
I ordered a coat; it was too small; I sent it back. Two months later and I have not received the requested refund. The company purportedly offered me a store credit but a) I do not want a store credit (and never asked for one) and b) they indicated that they were providing a code to use for the credit but didn't actually provide a code. They are un-reponsive to emails and their telephone number (which I had to dig around for because it does not appear on their website) does not work.
Just ordered a waterproof wool jacket for my trip to the east coast. It is great quality and performed well in the wind and heavy rain. My dog appreciated the jacket most since she got mor bad weather walks.
EDIT: I just received an email from Rick, who tells me he purchased the company a couple of weeks ago. He tells me he is only learning about some of these returns through trust pilot. He apologized for the situation and tells me he has completed my refund. There is hope!!I would not recommend buying anything from this company. I made a purchase in October, and did not receive anything for months. Despite multiple attempts to contact the seller via email and telephone, I did not receive a reply. I finally started a claim with my credit card company to contest the charge in January. It was only after this happened that my jacket was shipped in February. I did manage to contact the seller at that time, and she told me that they had had some difficulties in the fall and thanked me for my patience. She requested that I submit a positive review For her customer service. I told her that I would be happy to do so once our transaction was completed. Unfortunately, when the jacket arrived, it was not what I had expected. The color wasn’t the same as in the photo and it didn’t fit well. I contacted the seller Again, and she advised I could just send it back for a refund and gave me the return address. I sent the item back with tracking and sent an email to the seller with the tracking information so that she would be aware that it was coming. As far as I can tell by tracking the parcel, it has been waiting for pick up since April 8. I have attempted to contact the seller by phone and email Multiple times to let her know that the parcel was waiting for her and asking when I could expect a refund. Despite multiple attempts, I have not heard back from the seller and have not received a refund. this is completely unacceptable . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Horrible customer service. No response for days to initiate a return, and I’m still waiting. Sizing runs extremely small. Size at least one and maybe 2 sizes up. Very disappointing because I like the product. Note in response to Mia Melon reply below: my emails to tanya@miamelon… are from my full name, not just my initials, to protect my privacy.
I ordered 2 months ago, sent at least 4 emails (received no response), tried calling numbers on their website (busy tone),and left messages on social media (gets deleted). I see updaters on their websites for new sales and saying orders will be shipped, nope. Non-existent customer service, and I'm out $200 that I'll have to dispute.
Tanya replied within hours to my email- overnight, on a weekend. She assisted and resolved my order issue without hesitation.Amazing and trusting customer service!! Sending me a new coat and a shipping label for the coat that is not my correct size.I look forward to buying more of their products.
I ordered a Houston jacket in teal and medium and received the Stella in red and xl. I have emailed and facebook messenged several times and Tanya from customer service responded once and now hasn’t replied at all for over a week. It turns out their servers were down. They are sending my new jacket, now. I also ordered 2 bags, that are water resistant and they are working great so far.
I ordered rain ponchos, which are beautifully made but too bulky for travel. I received no response to an e-mail where I asked about returning these items, as they would not be going on trips with me due to their size. I then went to their website and saw that nothing is returnable if it's "buy one get one". Guess what? Everything on their website is "buy one get one" (at least at the moment) so NOTHING is returnable. Won't be shopping here again.UPDATE 3/1/2024: I did eventually receive a response from customer service offering to refund the bulk of the purchase and issue a store credit for the balance. I very much appreciate this and will take them up on their offer. AND I will be ordering from them again, as I do think their products are excellent.
I love their products, this is the second coat I have ordered from them. Their customer services is also great. Tanya was super helpful with an exchange, she wrote right away and has been very responsive.
I purchased a second Mia melon jacket this fall because my first one wasn’t as waterproof anymore and I wanted a larger size to wear sweaters underneath. I purchased the same style but 2 sizes larger. When I received my jacket in a lovely eggplant colour the XL won’t even close. My original medium fits me but the XL is too small! So I have emailed on Nov 1 and Nov 3 and reached out on Facebook and have had no reply. I am so disapppointed as I loved my first one but the sizing has changed so drastically and the support is unresponsive.
Shipped efficiently. Product exceeded all expectations. Lovely, true to color representation on website pictures. Sizing seems true to size with the two items I ordered. Tanya responded with exchange information promptly. No hassles. Policies are well laid out on website also.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
