metroopinion.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives metroopinion.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 65.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 65.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to metroopinion.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning metroopinion.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between metroopinion.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of metroopinion.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of metroopinion.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. metroopinion.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether metroopinion.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether metroopinion.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, metroopinion.com.

I joined it and earned just over 5 pounds from doing surveys, but the ability to enter my account and complete surveys suddenly disappeared. I could not access the surveys and my account. I have tried renewing my password but no email to renew my password is sent. I am sorry to say this does seem to be a scam site.
I completed a number of surveys and never saw any follow-up or payout, so reached out to their support to ask what the statistics were. As in, average number of surveys vs. typical payouts. I also asked about how to update my profile to make a correction for “last survey taken” and noted that I may unsubscribe if I can’t get it to be worthwhile soon. They replied the next day and simply said they’d deleted my whole account and I would never receive emails again. I have NO idea how they got THAT answer from my questions. But they did. I’d spent a long time setting things up & taking surveys, and at no point did I ask for that. Then I came here & saw their rating, and it all makes sense now. I highly recommend…steering clear.
I have been researching all of these surveys that say they pay and let me save you the frustration. Do not do it. These surveys are asking people information that may seem harmless but they collect enough information from you to steal your identity. They sell all the information they gather. Stay away.
When I completed the survey it did not recognise me or my account for completeing it, at all, just a dead page, why?? Did you credit my account? Please confirm that did happen, please?
previously I have also withdrawn twice with paypal amounting to 12.40 dollars. then the third time I have obtained 8 dollars, but to log into my account I can not with the reason that my email and password are wrong even though my email and password are correct.I then changed my password, but the password change email link was never sent either in the inbox, spam or trash. really disappointing and a waste of time.
Am a professional social and digital marketer with solid years of experience, am here to help
The pros : they pay more per suvey than other surveys app, they also give more surveys to do which means faster money compared to others. The cons : They are the only ones taking a fee on the Paypal reward (30 ct).The reward also take ages to be credited on the bank account (more than a week)They have been deducting money from my profile without to give any reason as to why.Sometimes you spend 20 minutes on a survey and you dont get paid. And last but not least, they dont answers to emails ever. Unless you keep insisting and insisting and insisting... then maybe you'll get a stupid answer. Thats the best case scenario.
I filled 2 surveys entirely and after the LAST question, the website said "fatal error" both times and never paid me. It is a SCAM. Dont waste your time.
It takes too long to receive the reward after redemption. I redeemed my points days ago and haven't received my reward. The info page says to wait 10 business days before I can even inquire about it. It's not desirable to wait that long when many other platforms process payment immediately. It is also inconvenient that there is no mobile app available.
I just recently started using metroopinion. The surveys were often straightforward and well-paid.I made around $10 in 4-5 days (faster than a number of other survey sites), cashed out the money via gcode, and it arrived in my email within a few days. However, since I made my first cash out, the site has not yet recommended any surveys to me. This is strange because usually there are several surveys available when I log in.
The surveys were a little bit long, but from what I've seen so far I was able to make a little bit of extra money on the side. I don't know yet if the money went through but I do know that the surveys themselves were definitely very interesting.
I signed up, fortunately with my other email and different password, there were so many ads to different "100%" trustworthy "review for 3.5€" and many ads that should give me double money( literally button with double ur income) so I pressed it and.... Another ads for same scams and I ignored it, tried sign in, asked me just for gender and age and accept terms of service, I accepted and couldn't log in, just moved a screen a little, tried multiple times and nothing.👎
Scammers. They collect your personal data through a “user profile” so that they can then begin to involve you in other fraud schemes. They will also try to gain access to your PayPal using the email address you provided during registration.
While signing up to Metroopinion, the system assigned a wrong date of birth to me. I quickly emailed their support centre and within five minutes, the date of birth was corrected with the right entry and they notified me via email. I commend the promptness of their customer service.Thank you.Regards:Jude Otobrise
An interesting site but of all the surveys they display to do I find that many I do not qualify for. It takes a few months therefore to rack up the $17 to transfer to my PayPal account. Not as good as many other sites, but still good to get some money coming in throughout the year. I suggest you try Pureprofile instead.
I have never seeing Surveys on my account but always I am checking. A chance to participate in the survey is 0.0001% almost time wastage. I know that my profile and demography matters possibly your answer will be. If I never participate in the survey at least 1 a month, so why I waste my time always logging in to the system. We came here to share our opinion and to get some earning. On other hands, they invite the survey on email and unfortunately they terminate it immediately when you try to participate.
Still waiting for my payment. Update 04/02/23 Finally got paid but caveats. Takes a very long time to pay. They are the only site I know that take a fee for cashing out with Paypal. No other survey app or site I use does this. Other issues, you could complete a 20 minute survey then they start deducting amounts randomly, using bs excuses from the provider you didn't complete it properly. Very underhanded. I do not recommend.
Horrible experience MISLEADING advert to get you .. NO Survey they offered paid 5.00 and you have to take UNPAID surveys to see if you qualify for a survey.. UTTER WASTE OF TIME!!!!!
In the questionnaire, I have already withdrawn Amazon gift card rewards from my account, but it has been 5 days and he continues to ask me to wait, I don't know whether the rewards will arrive? But the website and the survey process are good.
Regularly receive surveys. Easy to redeem rewards. Never had an issue with this survey site.Been with them for many years.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
