Is mensmake-up.co.uk Legit?

Placed my order back in June. Got a nice email from Lucy advising it was out of stock waiting for new suppliers to deliver and suggesting alternative products. Quite a few emails back and forth with Lucy who was very helpful and I agreed to wait for the products as I wasn't in a rush. No news in August so I sent follow-up emails on 13, 28 August, 4,10,13 Sept and no reply. The phone number on their website goes straight to voicemail. Payment was taken back in June (£64.5) and never got the order. I placed orders with them before and never had an issue. Avoid at all costs!

As per others, paid over £200 for stuff that was never delivered. Lying, thieving scum. I believe in Karma, so MMUK folks - I wouldnt fly anywhere nor take public transport if I were you - you'll get what you deserve.

I can't believe this. I wish I had seen this before I spent over 200 dollars. I paid with PayPal, of all things, but it's tied to my Amex card. I suggest calling your CC company and entering a fraud claim so that, at the very least, there is a record of this company's fraud is on record with major credit card companies. And why can't Trust Pilot do anything? You would think that they could contact the owner and give them a solid push. For now, I will attack through Amex.:-(

All the other bad reviews posted on here are true - I wish I read them before and would have saved myself a lot of bother. This is without doubt the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. You will not get what you ordered. Took over a month of constant pressure to get my money back, which I eventually did thanks to PayPal. Please avoid this scam company, they even fake their Trustpilot reviews on their website - they claim they have 5 stars yet on the Trustpilot site they are rated as BAD.

Terrible company. Its basically a scam that keep re-inventing their name. The director is a man called Alexander James Dalley. He has also started this "Maleskin company" which is basically their new scam. But he's scammed the wrong person...Don't buy from them.

Absolutely brilliant products and excellent customer service. Mmuk make products for men that help correct subtly rather than enhancing or being super noticeable. Exactly what I wanted. It’s also very buildable so you can’t start slowly without making huge mistakes. Pretty much tried the whole range excluding the eyeliner. The colour shade matching worked perfectly for me too. Something not always easy when buying online. All in all great quality gateway products at sensible prices so I’m always coming back!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE.I ordered a Jack Black product via PayPal. After checkout around £30 left my PayPal account but I did not receive any sort of order confirmation whatsoever.I emailed them using the customer service email address and also via the contact us link on their website. I heard nothing back even after countless number of chaser emails.The telephone number on their website to contact is a mobile telephone number which is a red flag itself which I should’ve picked up on. Attempting to ring this number several times, the phone is switched off and always directed to the voicemail.I ended up having to do a claim to get my refund via PayPal. Stay away.

Another order acknowledged but never sent. No replies to numerous emails, phone number straight to voicemail, this company literally stealing a living.What’s all the more bizarre is I have been using them for years before this without a problem. Never again, even in their new guise (apparently Maleskin). Complete rip off

Absolute thieving scum.Ordered Jack Black Body Spray and Deodorant on 24/03/2024 Money taken from my account. No order confirmation received, no orders in my account history.Not answering telephone calls, emails ignored. Update 18/06/2024. Actually got through to "Lucy" the customer service bot in late May via maleskin.co.uk (the two are owned by the same scammer). Offered an exchange and partial refund, which I accepted. Waited 10 days for the order to move out of received status. Emailed "Lucy" who apologised profously and offered me a refund. 10 days later, no refund so I contacted my bank. On 13/06/2024 the bank refunded me while they investigate.The moral of the story is, never trust a man who wears make-up. Avoid this place at all costs

Very bad experience. I have purchased Lancome men age Perfecting fluid . It was showing as in stock online . Received an email no more available they have kindly offered something else instead but I preferred refund. It has been a month now . No refund has been issued. Such a shame .

I agree with other reviews this site appears to be a scam?Placed an order, no confirmation email. Tried to call , phone number not recognised, no response to email.Paid by PayPal so have now raised a dispute. Hopefully PayPal will refund me?

How can this company keep getting away with basically stealing peoples money ? I ordered 2 tubes of Kiehl's Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream on 2nd of February... like all the other people commenting here I too was scammed !

Ordered a product that was saying in stock, only to receive an email saying the product was no longer available. That’s fine, but the lady who i spoken to says they were waiting on fresh stock that was due in the following week which was also fine. Nothing has arrived and i ordered this around 1 month ago. I have tried contacting them regarding a refund but have had no reply whatsoever. It seems they sell products they say they have online and then scrat around trying to source it. Not a great way to do business and i won’t ever order again. Stay clear!

Unfortunately my experience is the same as everyone elses in the last weeks. I did buy from them before hence why I came back.UPDATEI received one out of three items ordered saying the other two will come later...Had I received any communication from them before I would have been happy to wait, but as everyone before I had already submitted a claim to my CC.Updating to two stars for the time being.

I have to start by praising Lucy, whose customer service skills are second to none. She is always proactive and responds to communications promptly, often outside regular working hours. Best customer service I've received.The products themselves are great. They're subtle enough to be worn by men but they are offered in a wide range of options - from the understated to the bold and daring.I've tried the eyeliner, lash primer, mascara and brow pencil and gel. They're easy to apply and garner a lot of positive attention without constant questions of "Are you wearing makeup?'A huge, resounding thumbs up from me.

Update 18th December I am pleased to confirm delivery received today, full filling the order.All the below points however still apply with no confirmation email received and no contact from customer services. So happy with the customer service they were super helpful . We received our order and the make up is just perfect! A light to medium coverage exactly what we asked for! Beautifully packaged , doesn’t look cakey on either very natural and the perfect colour match. The anti redness cream is amazing and has already made a difference for the acne skin. Thank you so much!

So...I can only echo what others are saying. Made an order in August, 2023. As of this date November 11, 2023, no communication nor response from merchant, no product, no customer service. Buyer Beware. Reaching out to bank for refund on cc.

Have used this company in the past and when there have been issues, have been resolved. However, complete gaslighting this time - embarrassing joke of a company. Have phoned on numerous occasions and send several emails, all since have been ignored. Money has left my account but no confirmation. Don't waste your time and hard earnt money on this awful experience.

Avoid …good product but shocking service…promise the earth but don’t follow through… long emails of apologies but 10 weeks to receive an order …doesn’t cut it … don’t promise 2-4 day delivery then takes 4-10 weeks 3 rd time of ordering Will take business elsewhere Very very very disappointed
