Is masterpaintingandremodeling.com Legit?

Hired them about 3 years ago and regret it.My whole home renovation is still left unfinished, what they did finish was done poorly, they lie to their own employees as much as they lie to paying customers. They pit their workers against clients by telling them that the client isn't paying and that's why the employees aren't getting paid for the work. I had employees just straight up ghost the company and my project, others curse out project managers in front of my wife and kid, Rod looked me in the eye stepping on a floating piece of flooring and tell me it wasn't moving, as it literally popped under his feet. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!edit: Rod - you can't dispute any of my negative reviews because I am only recounting what actually happened. You did lie about the floating floor. You did tell your employees I wasn't paying. Your employees did get into cursing matches and quit on the job. You did lie to third party contractors, even going as far as to send them bogus payment stubs. I documented this stuff. These people will co-sign my statements about my experience.I'm not sure why your response is to insinuate that I am gay, I don't take offense to this as I am not, but I am a proud ally. You're speaking volumes about yourself here, friend. Also, why the self-hate, my guy? If your goal here was to come out looking like the better man, then you really missed the mark. Way to demonstrate the kind of person you are. This company did not complete the job as promised, ruined my project and failed to deliver multiple times. Master Painting & remodeling, Inc. failed to complete the project on time and dragged it out and it is still not completed. Worker showed up unequipped and with not enough materials for the job. Workers were sloppy and company employees continually lied about project progress. Owner refused to take calls and properly address the issues. Very disappointed! Don’t take my word for it, take your time and do research on this company - many many other horrible reviews from others that have experienced the same disastrous experience.

As of this date, their full debt due to us remains unpaid.This is the response that we received from the owner of Master Painting, after having to sue Master Painting and Remodeling for reimbursement of our damages. We had our entire house and patio including deck area around pool painted. We contacted them several times to come back and do some additional work and corrections and no one ever showed up.

You will be disappointed by this company!!!Over priced, and major bait and switch after they get your 50% deposit. Owner even wrote a refund check on a closed account - fraud!!!!Beware!!!!!

The owner of the company wrote a detailed estimate including two coats ofPaint. We did not get that. He did not honor the Angie's List coupon. The driveway and planters were not presure washed. The paint in the master bathroom and master bedroom did not match the touch up paint. Overall the painters were courteous but it definitely was not worth it dealing with the company. On top of that the owner, Rod M tried to charge me $400 extra dollars for "outside work"

To all future customers of Master Painting and Remodeling, Inc., I wanted you to be aware of my experience with this company and its owner, Mr. M. I own and operated an investment company which manages properties in eight States. We hired Master Painting to do $2500 worth of painting at one of our Fort Lauderdale properties, which they never completed. I had to sue in order to recover damages related to the work they did not complete. The outcome of the lawsuit was that the court found that Master Painting and Remodeling, Inc. breached their contractual responsibility and imposed a $6,744.85 judgement against Master Painting related to the work not completed and a judgement in the amount of $29,303.11 for our attorney’s fees and costs. The total amount due to us from Master Painting of $36,047.96 to date remains unpaid. I highly recommend you consider this information before you hire this company to do any work. The owner sold the job like a pro. However, when it came time for the job, he had no control over the men. They also did a horrific job cleaning up - to this day I still have paint chips all over my property. The sad thing is that he wasn't the cheapest - I was willing to pay more for a pro job but I was left disappointed.

After several attempts trying to schedule the job, I actually got another company that did the same for less and actually put in more details to the effort (not simply a 2 day job).

I'm pleased with the end results.

Exceptional job from start to finish. This was an outside job which included painting a very dirty deck. The prep that the Master Painting & Remodeling Team did was great, power washing and sanding until the surfaces were perfect. They cleaned up like the had never been there and the result was beautiful. Best part of all was that they came on time and finished on time. I've recommended them to my friends and everyone's had the same great experience.

I was extremely cautious while hiring them due to bad experiences with the local handyman businesses. But I am so glad that I got in touch with this company. Not only got the remodeling done for my kitchen but also asked so many questions about the service I am going to hire them for in the future. Totally amazing!

I recently purchased my first investment property which needed a LOT of TLC. After talking with my girlfriend Susan about how I think I had gotten in over my head, she recommended to call Master Painting & Remodeling. The professionalism was out of this world! Within 72 hours I had an AFFORDABLE itemized bid in my hands and a big weight off of my shoulders for many of the projects a head of me which included prepping damaged walls and trim pieces, painting ceilings, walls, trim, and a repairing and painting the rear wooden deck. Everything was completed correctly on the first go- round, no mess was left behind and it was ON TIME!

The company does absolutely amazing work. I called them one day from a recommendation I got from a friend and absolutely loved them. They were efficient, clean and their services are reasonably priced. They painted the interior of my new home and I have no complaints. It looks very fresh and I don't think it could have been done better, I would definitely recommend them!!!

These contractors were wonderful, and transformed my small business into something worthy of being on the Main Street that it is. They painted and added on some space for my lobby, and I am so happy with how everything turned out. It was an older building brought back to life, and they managed to keep the "old" charm of my pet grooming parlour while also spiffing it up, so to speak. I now have more room for my puppy parents to wait, and a pretty facade on the outside!

I hired Rod and his crew to remodel a rental property I have in the area. I have used them a few times previously and they always do a breathe taking job. I had them completely gut the house and redo everything, including painting the outside of the house. Master Painting and Remodeling has my seal of approval.

I really needed to remodel my house because of the new kids we had adopted. We had so little time and yet had so much to do. My sister recommended we contact Master painting and Remodeling services. The guys did a wonderful job. The rooms were created exactly as me my wife had pictured. The color choice was good and the painting was done neatly and perfectly. The kids loved their room and were very happy in their new home. Their rates were amazing and we couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere.
