Is majestic.co.uk Legit?

Used free delivery by my local store for possibly 20 years, but as thy have now pushed up their free delivery to a minimum spend of £99 to offset other cost increases they have lost all my business. Waitrose and Sainsbury’s thus gain from a bulk buy when they have a 25% off promotion ~ big savings.

Awful first time experience. Ordered wine as a wedding gift on 1st September. Yodel broke the first delivery, lost the second, and the third order Majestic forgot to add the gift message! Took three weeks to finally arrive... and the wedding has been and gone. Got my delivery charge refunded and the email response was littered with spelling errors and typos. Clearly not customer care anywhere!

What can I say, as soon as you walk into Majestic wine Basingstoke the team was polite and friendly saying hi on entry and making you feel welcome, super friendly. Advice on wine was top quality too. Absolute best customer service from everyone in there.

Ordered online for a yodel delivery. Oh dear what a disaster but contacted majestic head office (not possible to get any response from yodel) and the majestic staff were brilliant. Head office staff contacted my local store, reinstated my order and delivered this morning- will always use local store and never ever use yodel again

Yodel failed to deliver my order from Majestic on Friday, without explanation, and then faked a delivery attempt on Saturday. Majestic handled it brilliantly. I had to collect the order from the local store, but I was compensated with a free bottle of wine. That's all they could do, so top service.

Finished late at work but managed to park up and enter the Chelmsford store with two minutes to spare. I was then informed that the till had already been closed and I had to leave, my only annoyance is why close the till before locking the door. Makes no sense, I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

You need to have words with your driver Lc22hke. This Pratt decided to get out at the goose fair Island and start a fight with another person in mid traffic making sure that we was all sat there and stopped for the best off of 15 minutes before continuing driving like a moron

I placed an order in the East Grinstead store for my daughter's wedding. This order consisted of wine and beer at very competitive prices. The sales assistant was very helpful and accommodating. Majestic Wine delivered our order to the venue at the date & time we requested. Upon delivery the driver insisted on unloading his van and putting all of the order in a chiller fridge. We did not not need to do anything. He was efficient and very friendly. We were very impressed with Majestic Wine and will be using them for all future events. I wish I'd purchased the champagne and prosecco from Majestic too (lesson learned). Thank you.

I visited majestic wines South Gosforth today for the very first time in my life when I arrived i spoke to Laura i told her I normally go to a well known supermarket to buy my wine and I fancied a change i asked her for a box of six mixed white wines and I told her I do like wines flavoured with peach, Laura was very helpful and took her time to find me 6 bottles to my taste, friendly staff and they the known there stuff because I'm enjoying the first bottle thank you very much i will be back worth 5 stars

I've just visited the Twickenham branch of Majestic Wine for one of their wine tastings and was so rudely treated by a member of their staff that I will never buy another bottle from this branch of Majestic (having bought wine from there quite often in the past). It was actually quite a shocking experience and will be making a formal complaint to the manager.

We ordered wine and glassware from Majestic Dorchester and Kendal for our Wedding in June and the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. Highly recommend! We were given the opportunity to taste the wine, which was such a great experience! The wine was delivered straight to the venue and the whole glass hire was incredibly easy and smooth. The team at Majestic were always friendly and went out of there way to assist with the process.

My son visited the Newark branch for a present for my partner. He was servedBy a lady called Sue. Her service and advice was amazing , she went above and beyond to help him select the best wine selection for his budget Amazing service !

The team at Majestic Poole are absolutely sublime. We joined the wine club around 2 years ago (following a recommendation from one of the team!) And we enjoy going to the shop so much that we get our orders delivered to the store, just so we can get an extra visit! The team remember us and are so friendly, making recommendations when there's something new that they think we will like. The recent champagne vs sparkling tasting was amazing and we'd love to see more events like this where we can try to absorb more of the teams seemingly endless knowledge!

We used the Newark store for a recent anniversary party in the garden. The advice from Oliver re the wines for a summer afternoon were spot on. Lots of compliments from guests The glasses hire was faultless and the refund immediate. I would highly recommend the Newark team First class

We used Majestic wedding Service for our daughter's wedding. It was a fantastic service! From the wine tasting and ordering the wine to the delivery and then the return of some unused wine, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We were impressed with the quality of the wines that were suggested and the budget was respected. Thankyou for taking one stress out of the day.

Went to the Leith store today and found the staff very helpful. Gave me some very good recommendations and showed a great knowledge of the wines that I asked about.

Organised a wine tasting session with my daughter’s wedding coming up at the Hale Barns branch. Myles was superb and extremely helpful in guiding us to what we needed within a certain budget. His knowledge ensured we got exactly what we wanted. Will definitely use them again

My husband and I were visiting London from May 20 to the 25th , on our 1st outing we found the store on Crawford street in LondonJon the man working was very pleasant and welcoming We went back 3 times and each and every visit was great , we even attended a wine tasting that also had amazing employees , Thanks for the great service

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff..had a big order for a party.Beers,wine ,mixers ,red and white wine and fizzy.Also hired glasses and ice buckets.Delivered at the time agreed to our house, everything was boxed up and ready to go.Returning is super simple.We didnt drink all the beer a some of the wine and no issues taking some back. Prices are pretty much same as supermarket bit with a better selection. The quality you get for the price is so much better value.. especially for the mid range wines.Thank you again.
