Is magenta.at Legit?

I have been in this company from time was name upc was good after T-Mobile become bad and magenta became shem company lie and bad service bad internet bad mobile i dont recommend it at all its s.h.i.t. company i cant wiat to finish my contract so i go 2 company. Shem we have in Austria so company .sold 4 time and last year in cort 650000 beak for people because lie contract i dont even trust my details with so company shem lie and low stander

Really nice customer service but otherwise useless processes. Been in the new flat since June and back then there numerous ‘technicians’ coming to set the internet cable, only to find out after a month it is in fact impossible. Now have been waiting for a new router for over a week, getting emails daily that it will be delivered on the same day but always gets sent back without explaining and when asked Magenta, they would not know how to help. Sad ! And when asked to pick up in the shop then i would lose 2weeks trial period!

They are thief. Charge extra money with trap which is totally unidentifiable. I don’t recommended this company. Don’t make contract with them to buy phone. Thief

i bought a sim card for 10 euros in Austria and after 3 days, 7 phonecalls and 4 emails sent...2 hours lost, the sim card is not working. The phone aid is a scam, they close the phone immediatly after you give them the phone number of the sim.

Very unstable and overall poor 5G, the worst internet i've ever experienced, and I have lived in 6 different countries.Its been 2 years that my internet comes down almost every week. I don't even count the numerous amount of time my 250 mbps turned into 5mbps magically. I reboot my box almost daily to have a slightly better Mbps. Its downright depressing. Only contract with them if you have absolutely no choice.

Never again. This company is just trying to get as much money from you as possible, like a scam. Unbelievably terrible service and💩 attitude to clients, useless consultants. Why do they even work there? Internet is also far not the best one.As long as you can choose a different provider - don’t use Magenta!

The website is not clear at all, unexpected fees on top of the monthly prepaid fees are applied for no apparent reason, unfriendly to foreigners. Limited options for credit top-up. Prepaid products should be the most straightforward thing, took me two hours to navigate their website to under how to renew my prepaid contract. This service is a bad joke. I'm switching as soon as my credit is finished.

Had to leave 1 star. But don't grow old in a magenta property.i live 1st floor flat. Got told if I get a disability scooter , park it on the front , put a cable out the window to charge it. Or out the back.wow. the front the lovely children of the area would make use of it , or if it rains ???. Out back the cable to charge it would impact on so many ppl plus again cable out the window. Next was get a scooter that I could carry the battery upstairs to charge ???

I have Magenta since almost 2 years now and am paying the services at least 3 times more than contracted initially. I receive every month the invoices with additional fees and hidden costs. The customer service is also not that helpful. Just stay away from them!

I can confirm what other users said here! Stay way if you ever plan on travelling abroad. After registering with th eHandy Signature, the official Austrian Goverment identification online, they blocked my ability to use roaming abroad???And the only way to take it off is by going to an Austrian shop. Sure, I will buy a ticket and travel all the way back just to remove a feature they added in a misleading way. They could simply remove it by phone if they wanted and when I asked where on their website I can find this "rule", the lady couldn't indicate it to me. I lost a very important work meeting because I couldn't use the Internet I paid for. And they had the audacity to upsell me a contract? Please run away from this service.

I signed a contract with them I checked 5 times and made sure with the person working that my adress was available for their cable internet services waited for a week for them to come and install it. Guess what. MY ADRESSS DOESNT SUPPORT THEIR INTERNET! SO WHY TF DID THEY SELL IT TO ME!!! IM SO MF PISSED I WAITED FOR A WEEK WITH NO INTERNET FOR NOTHEING. LEGIT THE DUMBEST COMPANY EVER I HAVE NEVER EXPERIANCED THIS IN MY LIFE.

Relatively Stable Internet, minimal complaints there. Even the in shop customer service is relatively helpful. But online customer service is an absolute disgrace. Tried resolving a payment issue, went to the shop, couldn't pay on the spot, told me to do it online. Which is hard to do if you don't have Internet. Following this, any further questions to my bill, in attempt to call and speak to a human, will not even connect me to the customer service center until the bill was paid, as an surrogate block was installed on my number until payment is received Ridiculous. F U magenta, if you want to maintain some sanity and do something good for the world, do not sign with them.

Watch out from Magenta!The technician came to install the router (which Magenta says it is for free) and after 2 months I was charget 97 Euro. According to Magenta, the technitian ‘fixed’ a problem and that is why they charged. I was not even informed there is a ‘problem’ in the first place nor that ‘fixing’ it will cost me a certain amount of money. I asked upfront the sales team and technitian if there are additional charges. They replied ‘no’. The technitian provided me a form to sign for ‘completetion of work’ and hid the amount that was suposed to be communicated to me.This seems to be their usual scam to the costumers. When it happened to me, many other people told me they experienced the same.

Ordered a Kids watch with contract on 17.9.2023 as a birthday present for my daughter on 1.10.2023. End of September I was told it would delivered end of October, today I was told it will be delivered mid November. Hotline offers call back, but not until Monday, today is Friday. Costumer Service was rude, but became more friendly. Costumer service wrote to Online Shop, but did not write to them what I told him. He only wrote that I want to cancel because of delay in delivery. Whilst I wanted him to write calander week 46 (mid November). Wonder if I will get my money back.

If you don't wanna be stolen, do not buy magenta! They are scammers, rude and you sign a contract which will raise price multiple times. In one year they raised it 3 times! The berater will also not support you at all. The contract for tv streaming was 20 cents added to the internet and they charge 6!! Plus 35 euros of internet from a 27 euros contract and this month they will raise it again. Stay away from them they are really terrible!!

Internet hasn't been working for days in Vienna 1220. No option for contact with magenta. Nightmare. So bad!!!! I wish I can quit tomorrow and never deal with them again.

In vienna, for Magenta 30 mbps plan, I am hardly getting 10 mbps, from last 3 months. I kept it in window, changed router, still the same.

I feel the need to post about a product which is such a rip off its farcical. We bought Magenta Telekom sim cards in Austria so that we could use our phones while travelling in Europe and the UK for 4 weeks. The packet boasts that it gives 15GB of data and 1500 mins of talk time or SMS and specifically says that 9GB of the data is for use in the whole EU and even the UK. In Austria you need to register a sim card with a process that involves uploading some photo ID, which we did, and our sim cards worked in Austria. However then we travelled to Germany and we find that the sim cards are not working anymore. We spent hours trying to figure out why, playing with the settings and reading through the information on the packet. We went to a Magenta Telekom shop in Germany to asked them about the problem where they then also played with settings for a long time but ultimately couldn't tell us anything other than we need to ring the service line. So I borrowed a friend's phone and rang the service line. What she then told me was one of the most stupid things I've ever heard. Becuase we used non Austrian IDs to register the cards the roaming capability is automatically locked so the cards can only be used in Austria. That is to say that because we are foreigners who specifically need to use our phones in many countries the sim card is locked so that we can't use them in any other country except Austria!! Why!?, I asked, and the answer is again a bad joke. She goes on to refer to the EU fair use policy. This policy was created to stop phone network providers from blocking sims from one country to the next so that people don't have to buy a new sim card for each new country they visit. However this law refers only to EU citizens. Magenta Telekom has thus cynically and pervertedly interpreted this to mean that they have a fair right to rip off foreigners. Once the traveler has left Austria and discovers that the sim card doesn't work anymore its too late to do anything about it. They try and give some completely inane logic for their reasoning but it's so obviously a scam disguised as legitimate buissness. I even explained that I have an EU passport so I'd like to do the registration again but once done it cannot be changed. And on top of that was the suggestion that I could just travel back to Austria where someone in a Magenta shop could sort it out for me. When I explained that this was false advertising becuase there was no indication of these important details on the products packet she says well it's on the Web site and I should have done my homework. "I'm so sorry" they say as they casually rip people off "we are just following the regulations". A bad and infuriating joke. Don't get a Magenta sim card. They are scammers.Yes I know I've now spent even more time on this incident writing such a long post but knowing I can warn people about a bunch of scammers pretending to be a respectable company and possibly save some others from being scammed does make me feel better. It's not so much the money as the wasted time and feeling of indignation that a company can just so blatantly and casually rip people off.Dont buy Magenta Telekom products if you want to support ethical business.

I have recently ordered my second iPhone 12 Pro Max at Magenta, per phone. Everything went smoothly and very fast, the next day I received my new iPhone. I am very satisfied with the Customer Service, specially the employee Julia Berger, it took several minutes to place the order via phone. She is very professional and responsible to customer inquiries. Would definitely recommend this company!
