Is mackage.com Legit?

Bought a Mackage coat less than two years ago, and guess what? Two of the snap fastenings have decided to retire early. When I splurged on this coat, I was sold on the whole "lifetime warranty" pitch and told repairs could be done quickly and locally here in the UK. Well, the reality is as disappointing as a soggy biscuit.I reached out for help, and not only did the repair centre dance around confirming if the snaps would be covered under warranty, but they also categorically mentioned I’d need to ship the coat to Canada. Oh, and the shipping? Over £100. For snaps. Really, Mackage? I'm more than happy to bring it into the store for shipping to be taken care by Mackage, but to cough up a £100 shipping cost? So let me get this straight, if you don’t live in Canada, your “lifetime warranty” means footing a hefty shipping bill that’s about 10% of the coat’s price. Is this some kind of loyalty test? Because I’m failing it.Mackage, if you’re going to charge premium prices, at least back it up with premium service!

These guys make me laugh jackets made in cheap China , they are making people beleive it's high end , please give me a break . You wanna have great quality at the price you are selling your coats, you should make them here in Canada. Just like to rip people off with cheap chinese manifacturing.

Horrible customer service. For such expensive products, you'd think they'd verify that items are correct prior to shipping. Not only did they send the wrong colour, they sent the wrong size!Not only that, their return policy is absolute trash. Heck, even Amazon does direct returns for cheaper products, blows my mind that such a "high end" company couldn't care less about their customers making us travel 2 hours to the nearest FedEx. Horrible service. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Don't waste your money here, seriously.

Cheap overpriced garments: my $500 RAINcoat was not even remotely waterproof; not only did it immediately soak right through to my skin, the dye STAINED MY SHIRT. 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE: if you need to disable comments on your Facebook and turn off private messages it's probably a sign that your product 1. Sucks and 2. You're well aware of it.

Their return policy is overly rigid and the window is too short. They are unwilling to make any exceptions and will basically let you hold onto an expensive item that doesn’t fit because you missed that arbitrary return window. I used to buy a coat here almost every single year. Their customer service was blunt, rude and unhelpful. I will never be returning.

I have only owned one jacket from Mackage and I think it is high quality. It keeps me warm when I am out walking all day for work in less than 30 degrees weather. I am however deducting two stars for purchasing online. Pros: the jacket itself was good quality again and soft and if you purchased based on their measurements it will fit. Responded to emails fast when using their online form.Cons: Mackage themselves messed up the order by sending me the incorrect size, but did not let me know I had to place a new order online in order to get the item again. Did not respond to email from original chain of emails. Mackage does not refund up till 10 days after until they have verfied and gotten their return, meaning you will have to pay for an expensive jacket twice with the hope of them MAYBE returning your money back.

Bought a Mackage raincoat at Harrods, fits well, looks great, all kinds of great pockets. However, the zipper was finicky from the get-go. I kept thinking I'd get the hang of it as it would finally zip after some delicate finessing and fussing, but after 3 weeks it completely gave up the ghost. The zipper now doesn't work at all and has to be replaced. I was expecting better quality at the price.

Ridiculous return policy--much better off ordering from one of their dealers like nordstrom, etc. They only have 14 day return policy which I missed and now stuck with $1200 jacket I don't want. Too bad because their products are beautiful-shame their customer service is so poor.

The warranty is ABSOLUTELY, UNEQUIVOCALLY ZERO true,The quality is not worth the priceI have been trying to reach out to customer service for two years for the poor quality but still I couldn't. I strongly recommend you to not spend even one penny on their products

This company has the absolute worst customer service possible. After changing their return policy to 2 weeks, which is ridiculous for a “luxury” company, they deny any exceptions for return requests that are even a few days past this short window. When you try to call a manager they are “away for days”, then on “break” and always with a promise for a response which you can guarantee you won’t get. Will never buy from this company again.

These guys the only thing they care about is money, making Jackets in China cheep quality. They should make their jackets here in Canada & stop lying to clients describing their Jackets high quality.

Mackage Edward Men's Down coat $1300 - the jacket is super warm but the material they use for the outer shell is extremely thin and the arm has split open in under one year of very limited use. Even worse, they refuse to honor their lifetime guarantee. If they did, the guarantee is still useless because they make the consumer pay for shipping and then wait for 6 weeks in the middle of winter. My $129 Lands End parka has been through rigorous athletic conditions and still in perfect shape after 5 years, next time I will buy 10 of them instead of 1 Makage.

I sent my jacket in for repairs and had amazing customer service with special agent Brittany who kept me updated through the process and made the process smooth. Great communication and was amazing!! Such a sweet and amazing girl extremely helpful. Anyone would be very lucky to make her a wife I honestly thought her and my wife were about to become best friends I’ll suggest her and this company to anyone I speak to.

Writing this with a heavy heart but I’m disappointed that such a great brand would not deliver on their promises.I own a down coat with fur-lined hood, worth approx. $ 1,190. The fur ripped so I sent it in for a repair, thinking that they’ll fix it properly. What I got is a patched up hood, with fur patches of different colours, different hair length etc stitched one beside another.It looks awful... photo in the profile doesn’t even show the extent of it..I wish I didn’t bother with shipping it to another continent to get it fixed, not to mention the expense.

This is my second purchase from Mackage I ordered a Kent Z which was in the colour Garnet which is web exclusive colour on the mackage website i ordered it online 17.11.2023 and it was delivered on 20.11.23 It came in correct size and description. The package was exceptional well packed and presented. I picked up this mackage coat because I purchase my first coat in store in canada last year. Mackage is very good quality and not overrated as other brands like Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles.I will definitely

NEVER BUY FROM MACKAGE - unless you want rude service, impossible customer service which you can never get through to anyone who can help you and poor quality jackets. Stay away coats look nice but dont last and you will never get any help.

Still waiting for produce told by FedEx that address is wrong I have tried calling and speaking to there on line chat …. They simply cannot get the fact that they have not put first line off address or the full post code there response for me to track and trace via FedEx . I tried to remind them I have paid and recieved nothing yet . Not there problem I agree with previous reviews there aftercare is not what you would expect from a company of this caliba

I am very disappointed with Mackage customer service and return policy. I got a a jacket over $600 on Christmas and it unfortunately it big for me. I passed 2 days after their 30 day return policy and they refused to take it back or at least to offer a store credit. For such us luxury brand it is unbelievably bad experience. Never buy from them again!!!

Absolutely awful. Not sure what happened with this company, but their customer service has really declined in the last few years. They have had my return for over a week at this point and are refusing to process it. Every inquiry is met with a rude response. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from them directly as you will be disappointed.

Recently purchased the Mackage Edward Fur, honestly the best winter coat I have ever owned, very cool looking and ridiculously warm. It really is Winter ready, be that wind, rain, or snow temperatures. I have tried another famous Canadian brand, it didnt come close to my Mackage or their customer service. They have just gained a customer for life.
