luckymobile.ca Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives luckymobile.ca one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 86.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 86.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to luckymobile.ca's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning luckymobile.ca, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between luckymobile.ca and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of luckymobile.ca. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of luckymobile.ca, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. luckymobile.ca is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether luckymobile.ca has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether luckymobile.ca boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, luckymobile.ca.

difficult web site is not friendly usera customer told me ,when i am login into my account that is not your name,in order not give me an answer to my questiondo not recomended based in my experience
Ben one years since im with lucky mobile its the third time they overtake money in my account even costumer service dont want to help .. my ex had the same problem and you have to go 50road just to take out all you private info... lucky mobile never again
My experience with Lucky Mobile was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. They charged me without providing any clear information about the hidden connection fees. I was left in the dark, unaware that they would use my money for an entire month without actually providing the service. They don’t hook you up unless you have an eCard or purchase another card from them, making the whole process feel like a scam.To make matters worse, I had to pay an additional $50 just to activate their card. I spent an hour on the phone, only to be treated like I was the one at fault. The customer service was atrocious, making me feel like complete crap. The guy who helped me on the line chat service was really rude and basically laughed at me about the outcome. They even wanted me to pay an additional fee, which I refused because it was just ridiculous. This was the worst service I have ever had, and I will never use it again. It was $50 wasted, and I sincerely hope they go out of business in this competitive market. Lucky Mobile’s service is useless, useless, useless, useless.
Absolutely horrendous service. I bought this SIM card because it was supposed to come with a $20 gift card from dollarama. I put it on auto pay for the past year and still have not received my dollarama Gift card. It all of a sudden stopped taking money out of my account and you cannot get ahold of a customer service representative to fix it. I tried to use the number to call in and update my credit card. However, it says, due to a system error they can't update my credit card. So I basically paid for a SIM card so that my son could have service for a year. I knew I should've just put him on my plan with my company! Please don't bother going with this company. You will only waste a bunch of your own time. They have no customer service representatives, and all they do is give you a number for escalation team and the number does not work. Now, after spending 5 hours trying to figure this out, I have to just go to a different provider, to do this whole process all over again. Very unsatisfied.
Terrible data now for 3 months. When I became a customer for the very first time it was great. Now it's like they have me now as a customer and donot care about my patronage. Just awful, considering going elsewhere.
There lies there site is just like slot monster a conn you can't play the games in the UK there site is garbage it's all a conn stay clear of this place stick to proper bookmaker casino s which pay out and your bonuses you don't have to win 100 grand before it turns to.cash just robbing people out there money
Worst customer service worse application program just awful and as a former wireless associate, NEVER recommend. They ignore their customers and they refuse to fix their bad service. If you get lucky you will lose all your I for in seconds and will be forced to pay them more money for services that don’t work.
Lucky have made it impossible to cancel my subscription. Absolute scammers. Avoid lucky because they will take your money and offer terrible service in return. I have filled in their form requesting to be contacted and haven't heard a word back from them. Clearly they are ignoring me to legally justify taking more money from my account even though I simply wish to cut ties.
The worst experience a one person can have from the whole team of there's which a person can came across. Every agent gives you inappropriate information and every agent denies the sayings of their colleagues. Spoke to 7 different agents and all have the different answers and at last failed to help out and the final results by their team was sorry the time passed away. Could have rated 0 star as well but didn’t had any option to do.
I'm not a customer of LUCKY MOBILE, never have been. But they were able to get hold of my credit card number fraudulently. I called them and they were of no help at all, since I'm not a customer. I then called my bank and they credited the amount (33.90$) after telling me that LUCKY MOBILE tried to pass the same amount a 2nd time. My bank blocked that 2nd transaction because it didn't seem normal. So I had to cancel my card and wait for a new one. LUCKY MOBILE should be shut down by the CRTC.
Lucky Mobile is owned by Bell. I honestly believe that Bell has created Lucky merely to lure costumers over to their more expensive packages at Bell. I’d say it’s not too far of a stretch to suggest that they deliberately provide poor customer service, terrible connections (I’ve never had more than 1 bar; if I’m lucky, 2 bars at best is all I’ve ever had) in order to get you to migrate over to Bell. It’s like they’ve created Lucky to grab a monopoly on the low cost market share to steal customers from other providers or to lure in new ones from out of country as a marketing ploy, with the ultimate aim of having people on long term Bell contracts. Your service gets progressively worse and then suddenly you get multiple calls, a month/month and a half in, from Bell (!) offering you discounted rates for their mobile packages! I’m so tired of these huge conglomerates operating with zero moral culpability or consideration, taking advantage of people, deliberately cheating them out of their money, just to save their bottom line. Disgusting.
Very expensive and hidden feesIt is less than 2 months I am with Lucky mobile and not happy. There are hidden fees that nowhere shown and declared like sending video messages. They withdraw more than monthly payment and call it balance (non-refundable).No invoice and payment history is completely different from withdraw. For me they are finished but I write this review for others. Shahriar Baniamam
I gave lucky a star, actually I wish I could give them ZERO. Horrible service, intermittent disconnection, callers can't reach me, bad customer service. When complained, the line dropped while on the call. Changed the phone, moved to a new city, changed location and still having same disconnection problem.
I have been with lucky mobile for 3 years now and I have to say, I am extremely satisfied. The company provides bonuses to loyal customers, and I've never had any issues at all! Incredible prices!
Vince at Lucky mobile who does customer care went above and beyond to solve my issue last night. Every interaction I have had with Lucky’s customer care team has always been exceptional. The plans are affordable and a good value for your money but honestly I’d stick with Lucky just because the employees are so patient and go to great lengths to help with whatever problem you may have. THANK YOU VINCE 👍😃And thank you to all the other amazing Lucky mobile employees too 😊
Lucky is a pathetic service. One point not made abundantly clear is that they do not allow receiving any SMS text outside of Canada. This is a disaster. All Canadian credit cards send a code to cell phones, for ID verification. Not receiving SMS messages means that your credit cards are useless. Purchasing airline tickets, booking hotels, renting cars, all impossible because of this ID verification. I am now stuck in Turkey, both my credit cards non functional This means that any users of Lucky cannot use their credit cards anywhere outside Canada, including the US !!!!!!!!When I contacted Lucky customer service, they suggest I get another phone number !!!Thank you Lucky!!!!
This company is a (budget reseller) owned by Bell (Not Virgin Mobile) both Lucky and Virgin are subsidiaries of Bell Canada.. Lucky Mobile needs to be shut down permanently.. There should be a class action lawsuit that forces the courts and the CRTC to revoke and terminate Bell's license to continue to operate this company...
I've complained to Lucky Mobile about 4 times now to change their voicemail system so that it's not erasing a customers message for them. The PAYING customer should be able to decide whether to erase their messages and which ones they'd like to keep for more than 4/5 days! They obviously don't listen, bc I just had an important message erased b/c I had it for more than 4-days!It's bad customer service, and for that they're only getting a 2-star rating from me.
Scammers!!! I have no business or any contract with Lucky Mobile, but they’ve taken money from my account without my consent or permission. I am not a customer to their services. I have no messages or emails or any products from them, how they got my account details, only they would know. I want all my money back!!!!!
Over the years, I used the service of TRIO, Chatr/Public/Lucky. I had no problem with online activation, or payment. These guys promise 3G speed on LTE network. But, they cannot deliver those speed all the time and everywhere. Results; frustration, buffering, disconnection, ...Lately, I was with Lucky, even some calls did not pass through, incoming, or outgoing. My advice, pay $10 more and get full network speed. If you are in Quebec, you could go with Fizz, for same fee, you get full LTE speed.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
