lowrance.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives lowrance.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to lowrance.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning lowrance.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between lowrance.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of lowrance.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of lowrance.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. lowrance.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether lowrance.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether lowrance.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, lowrance.com.

Much rather Garmin! The servicing on these are horrible. No where seems to know how to fix them. I've had a Lowrance elite fs 9 for about 3 years now and 5 months after the warranty voided the software has pood itself and is completely unusable! All navico have offered to do is replace the unit for 50%-60% of the cost. Which I will not be doing because the problem may just occur again. Garmin/Simard is a much better option!
Lowrance sounders aren’t designed to last. Like many others I started out with what seemed like a decent product but eventually fell victim to their dreaded and now well known “sonar version 0.0.0” issue. Which their only solution is that you buy another unit. Not a sustainable solution to be replacing these every 2.5 to 3 years. While the customer service was adequate a product designed to fail after a software update is tough to overlook. There are better options on the market for sounders so save yourself the headache and avoid them.
I bought a new boat with a new Lowrance hook reveal 9ts. The sounder has never worked at anything over 5 knots , so I replaced the transducer which made no difference. I’ve moved the transducer up, and down to try get a better reading but still nothing. My last trip out the plotter screen started glitching on one side. I would send it in but after reading all of these reviews it might be time to go get a simrad. How do lowrance get away with a 12 month warranty? Obviously don’t have a lot of faith in their product!
I've always liked Lowrance, so I'm probably a little partial. We'll see how things turn out in the big picture. If I continue to have problems with the GPS "seeing the sky," I am going to be extremely disappointed. I find it hard to believe that the GPS on my Elite can't "see" through my canvas T-top.
Lowrance makes so many different versions of the same item it's very difficult to determine which version you need. My local sporting goods store dropped Lowrance for roughly the same reason. They'd stock a given item that was touted as the newest of some item and 6 months later Lowrance was pushing a newer version of that item. Hard for retailers and even harder for customers
I ordered an additional power cord for my Lowrance so I could practice with the unit at home during the winter months. First off, Lowrance was incredibly fair on the price of the cable. I did not expect a price under $20 for anything marine electronic related. Credit definitely goes to Lowrance for not trying to gouge a customer on cost. Secondly, there was no shipping charge and the cable arrived within a week! Who does this? Thank you Lowrance!
Customer service is incredible. They worked with me to troubleshoot my issue with my Hook 7 over a few weeks. After several unsuccessful attempts to fix my problem, they had me send it in to be looked at. In the end, they ended up replacing the unit free of charge.
When going to the website a chat box appeared and I chatted about my issue. I gave them the unit info(lowrence Hook reveal 7 transducer bracket) they suggested part number needed. Wrong part. For skimmer application. Bracket doesn't allow transducer to be low enough in the water.
Customer service is terrible. I sat on the phone over thirty minutes just to get a rude individual with no answers to a simple question. That was when will I receive my part ordered. It stated 3-5 business days but I hadn’t received any shipping information so I was just asking. After asking why so short with customers he hung up on me. Seems to be the norm from the tevie s I e read which is sad seeing y’all have such an amazing product.
Had a power issue with a new unit Excellent company & customer service they stand behind their product and replaced the unit quickly for me .I Have been a customer for over 30 years purchased many units along the way
The product is typically good, however I have an ongoing issue for over 12 months now and it is not being resolved. The person I am dealing with in NSW Australia, is polite seems helpful but he's not getting any answers from higher up. For anyone from Navico who is interested in resolving this issue, the case number is Navico Case #:CA10935156.
Just to know that you value your customers and make sure that they're able to purchase replacement parts! I wanted additional power and transducer cables so I could use my Hook 2 triple shot on either of my two boat. I had no problem getting hold of the cables from you guys! Also the price was reasonable! Thanks!!!
I received the wrong item. I requested item 000-12244-001 but received item 000-14583-001. Now I have to go through the trouble of sending an e-mail after spending time on two calls trying to correct the mistake. All other items were the correct items and the shipping time was quick. Please slow down and insure items requested match items being sent out. Thanks
The one thing that would really be helpful are better installation instructions and what you will need with each component. Example, what is needed for the water speed wheel to install. Cable, T, Short cable, where it hooks up, and how to set it.
Running a Lowrance Ghost at 24 volts on an Allison XB21, plenty of all day power. Also running a Lowrance 9” Live at the drivers console networked to a Lowrance 16” Live on the bow, with 3 in 1 imaging at the transom and on the Ghost, all three run in unison very well. Thank you very much Lowrance for building great products.
I ordered my first side scan unit. Of course as soon as you click the button to purchase you start waiting. I thought I might have to wait several weeks for the unit but it got here within days (not sure how many but less than a week). Hod the unit out for the first time today, there will definitely be a learning curve but so far crazy happy. I know what to expect from the unit and from Lowrance so I feel safe with my purchase, fast shipping was just a bonus.
Have not used my Active Target yet. But it was easy to install. Directions were easy to understand. Looking forward to seeing how good it works when fishing
I love the trolling motor and graphs, but getting the maps had been a problem. I ordered the maps, they took my money, then canceled my rider saying they no longer sell the map I purchased. Still waiting for credit and to find out what maps I can purchase to go on my graphs for lakes near me.
Had some issues with my HDS Live GPS. The tech was very Professional and Helpful. The tech was able to get the issues resolved with no problem. I am very Satisfied. In the future when I have problems and unable for me to solve the problem, I will be contacting the tech.
I had to replace my downscan skimmer transducer that was lost a couple of weeks ago. I was able to find it wit relative ease and had it within 2 to 3 days of placing my order.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
