just to let anyone in the u.k ordering from this company you will be charged Despite goods clearly advertised as VAT and duty paid for UK customers, items were retained by parcel force pending payment of VAT and duty!!Customer services contacted for advice and I was asked to pay since then louis has paid for my customs duty and updated there website I have changed Mt rate from one star 🌟 to 4 .. they refunded my difference and it should have been a 5 star 🌟
First visit was a disaster because they sold me a ladies jacket instead of a males jacket. Because I live like 60km away from the store I asked for a compensation because it was clearly their fault and so I had to go back to exchange it and do another 120km. The store manager, Tim I guess, was very kind and agreed to give me discount on what I purchased. So I went back to the store and Tim himself accompanied me the whole time searching another jacket . He really was very patient and gave me a lot of advice about what I should consider when buying a jacket. I surtenly saw his intentions to make it up with me so he would have, despite what happened, a satisfied and happy customer! He also gave me the discount as promised. Thx Tim you admitted you guys made a mistake and you wanted to make it up with me. I surtenly will come back to your store next time!
Ordered a Cardo and had to pay customs and vat BUT Louis were perfect to their word! Send a photo of the charges to them and received payment in 2 days! Made an order more than one month ago, when it arrived to Spain it was returned to Germany due to lack of customs document, they sent it again...and today it was returned back due to the same reason for the second time, so I´ve requested a refund

Ordered and paid for a pair of Alpinestars Supertech R boots. Took around 5 days to dispatch which was a bit long to wait imo, was kept updated with progress and from being handed over to DHL on the 3rd or March, the package arrived at my address on the 14th March. I paid import duties on the 12th and was refunded on the 24th March. Can't fault communication as every email was answered. Can thoroughly recommend shopping here and really like the good prices.Some reviewers who give low stars yet complicate the process with their order changes have to manage their expectations better in my opinion.
I ordered two pairs of shorts, same size but different colours. Shipping was really fast. When I unpacked them I noticed that there was a significant size difference between them. I contacted the sender, sent photos. Their answer was "we can seen see they are slightly different but there is nothing we can do and you can send them back to us for a refund". Althought the difference is around 2 inches (meaning one pair is one size up). I paid £8 for delivery and it doesn't make much sense to spend another £8 to send them back on my expenses. Usually when it's senders fault, customers are being given free return labels. Obviously those guys have a lot to learn. Very disappointed.
Second order, even better service than last time. First order was a helmet which arrived in the UK, halted by the bandits purporting to be HM customs, paid the ransom and was refunded by Louis within 3 days. Second order was for luggage, again intercepted by Dick Turpin on the border. Paid this ransom and contacted Louis this morning. Refunded this afternoon! Incredible. Will definitely be purchasing through Louis again - not only is it cheaper than the same exact product in the UK by quite some way, but their service is second to none.

Ordered Puig downforce spoilers for my zh2. When I ordered I was a little apprehensive that they would arrive. I was given a tracking number and that was updated daily. Customs did hold the package as they wanted an additional £41import tax. I paid the tax and they arrived the next day. I contacted Louis and they refunded the £41 within 2 days. Great company and highly recommended as the parts were cheaper to get than from the Uk.

Very low quality helmet, after a few wears helmet had started to fall aparts, I returned helmet but they didn't even refund the whole amount, they refund you without shipping costs. Also you need to pay for return shipping, so you lose quite a lot just for returning defective item. Don't buy from this site!

Contacted the company via the email address given to me in case this should occur at 4.30pm, received a reply that I would be refunded this at 6.30pm and received the refund the following morning. Hi just thought i should leave a good review as i was really worried after reading some of these reviews on here, about not getting customs charges refunded. I bought a shoei neotec 2 from louis moto for £463 no customs charges no hidden surprises thought great saved about £60, then a customs letter came asking me to pay over £120+.I sent copies of these once i'd paid back to louis moto and good to their word re-embursed me no problem . just be patient dont get angry just state the facts and if possible ask all the questions before you buy to get answers in emails you can refer to if needed . I am a very happy customer and will continue shopping with louis moto !
I stupidly purchases bike communication from Louis.dePaying quite a lot for a DHL Courier…..it transpires it was sent DHL / Snail service after 2 weeks I’m still waiting fir my parcel to arrive.Surely Louis.de want repeat customers so why not use a proper quick courier. So my advice until they can sort out quicker delivery is to avoid buying from Louis.de
Ordered a replacement helmet for one I had purchased from Louis Motorad a year ago. Took a while to arrive as UK customs held it for over 2 weeks. Was charged £97 extra by UK post office which was immediately reimbursed by Louis Motorad. Excellent service.
Ordered some luggage for KTM Super Adventure. Noted as 7-14 days delivery. No updates. After 10 days chased, advised 'Item delayed, due that week would be shipped the following day'. No further updates. After 28 days received an email cancelling the order as item to large to ship. Utter shambles. Touring trip severely hampered with no time to get a replacement.
