I cant believe this paper is still going its a joke spelling mistakes reprinting the same garbage stories from months years ago they do not know what to do they r just filling the column inches they really haven't got a clue what to do going forward it seems to be deteriorating year on year month on month have they not heard of spellcheck in the echo offices really sad state of affairs

lots of things to do. lovely ppl lots of live music pubs and clubs. only complaint I have is liverpool Council should hire more workers to clean streets really bad for litter and dog poo. so that's on the ppl running the city filling there own pockets instead of giving ppl jobs to make city a better place for everyone.

This paper is pathetic mainly its football content and rose tinted glasses reviews of Everton players their performances and club as a whole. It buries and hides the facts and its reporters write the most ridiculous reviews of the games - it also deletes any negative comments it doesn't like especially the truth and then blocks you if you go against the politically correct and rose tinted norm - Its a joke and to be honest with you Its only fit to wipe your backside with. George Orwell was right - the corrupt and controlled press -their thoughts the only acceptable ones, the death of democracy and free speech. DONT BUY THE ECHO -

The Echo is in my opinion a pale shadow of its former self. I used to love reading it. Local reporters who understood the area. Now, it's basically trash and a shell of a 'local' newspaper. Sensationalism, gutteral, crass ...spring to mind. I informed them of a story once related to Church, it was a big event. Not a word in the paper. Their excuse? You informed plus two months in advance, that's too early! As a local resident it pains me to say it but couldn't care less if it ceased existence.

Liverpool Echo is without a doubt the worst online newspaper, I never bother trying to read it anymore. Forever interrupted with adverts, the webpages stick, trivial clickbait headlines, webpages so sloooow to turn. Webpages do not appear, videos never appear either. This has been going on for years but they do nothing. All this since they moved to Manchester, it is definitely not a Liverpool newspaper anymore. Subscription to the online Echo is more expensive compared to other online newspapers.

Seriously how can this paper which sold out to other parts of the country, now wish to charge the patrons of this city for utter drivel and inconsistency Your depiction of Liverpool news is akin to the rotten Sun Hang your heads in shame ……. Money for nothing ……you’re a disgrace

Holy mother of Mary. The Liverpool echo is the worst experience on the web right now. Certainly on mobile anyways. The click bait headlines are embarrassing enough on their own but the adverts and sensational headlines along with the rehashed content is enough to make you never visit the site again. Couple all this with the near impossible navigation makes it complete and utter garbage. Oh and to top it all off, the new Apple privacy update tells me that the echo has set 75 trackers on me today all because I wanted to read an article on Virgil Van Dijk. Disgrace

Why can't they leave the comments alone? They have the worst website that they keep messing with because they don't seem to be satisfied with how awful it is. They are always itching to make it worse somehow.

This rag is finished .I used to work for the liverpool echo as journalists. Since the lefty Liberal brigade took over the paper has gone down hill .there is a certain mr l thorp who is in the pocket of local councillors who walks round with a chip on his shoulder thinking he knows it all when realy he's just a mouthpiece for those councillors and he hasn't realised it yet .no wonder there revenue's down and they are asking for online donations .this once great paper is in a rapid decline

small local rag newspaper, turns comments off as and when it suits them, biased left wing editor, not worth the paper it's written on ( could be handy for bog paper ) worst of the worst local rags, swerve it.

This news paper is run from Manchester calling it the Liverpool Echo, it should be called The Manchester Evening New 2. It publishes rubbish and is very negative toward Liverpool. I dislike the newspaper as it's mostly depressing and in cahoots with the police and the council and other government bodies such as the DWP. People should make a stand and stop buying this paper. People back in with the Sun newspaper. Liverpool people deserve better than trash news.

Om so fed up with this government changing every bloody benefits full of empty promises we the way they are treating everyone on benefits we should treat them the same.e Don't Vote I know they can fine us but it will be worth im sick to death the way they are treating disabled people elderly people most of all NHS staff not being rude saying this but come on 10.% rise for O.A.P.S when the NHS staff worked so hard thru the pandemic also lots lost their lives and im just saying they should have that rise not only that they work long hard hours and yes mistakes could be made be so tired the NHS needs a good shake up not from the staff from the government why not create more jobs with having matrons bk on wards things will done better patients get treatment on time appointments to different areas on time ie xray ct scans that's only the start we will lose the NHS soon then we will .on having to take out insurance to get medcal treatment im just fed up the way government treating us like we are sh.t

As others have said. I am unable to read the website on the echo’s own website (mobile) as the page doesn’t scroll properly, jumps around due to adverts. This basically forces a willing reader elsewhere. Adverts are the lifeblood, but don’t kill yourself by over selling space.

A paper only fit for the braindead.Norwegian Reds, Reds who don't go to the match and far left wing voting sheep. It's website is unusable without ad blockers, and it's reporting appears to be done by year 6 school children.

God this is an awful website...I'm astonished that some reviews talk about the standard of journalism as I can barely get past all the pop ups and ads and nonsense to even stand a chance of reading anything. The home page without fail always greets you with a tale some violent thug or other and so the only purpose the site serves is to terrify all inhabitants and potential visitors to Liverpool!

Very very poor journalism. The echo seems to take press releases from various interest groups and reproduce them word for word...not exactly what you would call investigative journalism.Recently saw an article about how Port Sunlight Village Trust were going to build new properties in a conservation area, (whilst at the same time expecting to start the process to try and get UNESCO world heritage status).The Echo printed almost word for word the Trust's press release and never bothered to investigate the rage felt by villagers.It also has a lot of articles about various cheap supermarkets having new products. With of course no mention whatsoever that these fat and sugar heavy products are very bad for healthAll in all the Echo is a shameless, lazy excuse for a newspaper. A cheap local version of the Sun

Extremely slow site. About 85% of every page is intrusive adverts. The only way to view this page is using an adblocker at which point it just becomes useable.Without an adblocker, you may as well go to another site as it's slow and becomes unresponsive constantly.

Lots of good stuff in the Echo, especially about Liverpool FC, but where the front pages are concerned there are too many people in influential positions who come from North Wales or the Wirral. That is not an issue in itself, I am sure they are nice people, but subconsciously they seem to be intent on perpetuating the myth of Liverpool being a hotbed of thieves and gangsters as that is practically always all you see on the front page. Would people stop buying the paper if its front pages had stories about all the positive stuff that goes on in the city? I doubt it. If anything is going to stop people reading the Echo it is the people who read online finally giving up on a website that has so much advertising on it that it becomes an ordeal just to read a story. I think a change is needed at the paper, but keep up the good work on sport.

Just a mouth piece for woke agenda. They have removed comments from most articles because the readers constantly disagree with their agenda. To be honest, the comments were the only appeal as the articles are poorly edited with more ads than words.

Absolutely garbage website. Constant ads pop up. half the time try to click on comments does not work. Same stories being repeated. Gives u a headline then repeats it over and over before u can get to the actual point of the article completely a joke
