lgtv.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives lgtv.com a medium trust score on the platform: 50. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 50 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to lgtv.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning lgtv.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between lgtv.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of lgtv.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of lgtv.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. lgtv.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether lgtv.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether lgtv.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, lgtv.com.

WiFi Network on the OLED65G4 is very poor, it loses WiFi connectivity almost every day and does not retry to connect, therefore you have to turn the tv off then on at the power supply, to regain connection. This is a major floor, especially if you regularly use any of the apps eg for Netflix or Prime. This never happened on my previous Tv which was Samsung.
Bought 55inch TV at end of July, and it developed an intermittent fault where it kept losing signal in November and we had to keep retuning the set. Contacted customer service which is in the Philippines and they remotely reset the TV. The problem continued so eventually said they would repair it. Booked for repair 3 times and cancelled as part not available (new tuner). It is now just before Christmas and still not fixed and will not be done till next year now. We are absolutely disgusted with the whole experience and would not recommend anyone buys an LG product.
Was very happy at first with the lg 4k smart t.v. but then keep loosing sound and connection. boke after a year and half. Very disappointed at my previous lg lasted a substantially longer time.
LG oled65cx5 tv May 2021.These tvs have a known design fault requiring repair after 3 years use. Company refuses to acknowledge .It is well known amongst the tv repair services and online forums . LG contacted -quoted REPAIR COST OF £1999.00 for a tv that cost £1500 !!! Terrible tv and even worse customer service . NEVER BUY A LG TV .
Great OLED TVs unless it has issues! After what I just went through I'll never buy a LG Product Again! .I purchased a 65" LG OLED from a Member only store the big "C" they included a great warranty if it wasn't for that warranty LG would never have made it right! I had to Call the store I purchased it from customer service to get anywhere with LG! They got involved by contacting LG at a Very high Corporate level. In the end I received a New TV shipped from LG via Truck and got stuck with disposable of the old set at my cost. I sold the replacement because as I said im Done with LG they do not care about the customer unless you have a large corporate store willing to help.
I regret my purchase of LG OLED55C44LA (2024) OLED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 55 inch. It was delivered on 30th September 24 but developed a fault 9th November. There is a vertical red line top to bottom of the screen. I bought it from John Lewis and I'm waiting for it to be repaired
Te least intuitive tv i have experienced. Determined to show its own channels at any cost. Would never advise anybody to purchase an LG tv.Attempts to find regular UK channels are impossible until you find them buried away.DO NOT BUY AN LG TV...
Bought LG Oled 65 inch TV on 30th Dec 2021 and delivered on 1st Jan 2022.on 22 Oct 2024 broke the board not working and the TV not taking power.Called the LG they said only one wear warranty and now will have to pay £509 to get this repaired.I have in my 64 yrs never experienced or heard a TV getting bad in just two year.Bought a LG machine a year back and had to call twice to repair and the problem still persist.Looking at this people should now think twice before buying any LG product.in my understanding the are scamming people
I bought a LG TV about 2 months ago. I really don't like it. The picture and sound quality are fine. What I hate is the cluttered home screen. It is FULL of boxes I don't understand and don't want. Basically I use the BBC, Ch 4, my 5 and itv apps for catch up and Freeview for live TV. Although I have edited the apps, that row is still full of white boxes with odd symbols in. I don't want trubi, home dashboard, air play (?), optical out etc and I don't want a huge ad for a programme I have no interest in taking up half the screen. I have a smaller, older TV in my conservatory which has a single row of the boxes I use in a black screen. Perfect.I also don't like the flimsy feet that too readily drop out of their holes.
LG 32LM577BZUA:Just a HUGE stinkin' piece of sh!t through and through... Less than 18 months of ownership, and the main power board has already gone BAD so now the goddamn thing just keeps shutting itself off like every 2 minutes!I own two smaller 23" Vizio Razor LEDs from way back, both used HEAVILY for gaming/movies/PC on a daily basis, and they are STILL WORKING 100% FLAWLESSLY even after 15+ years later.ANY decent TV from a reputable manufacturer, should last at least a minimum of 3 to 5 years... NOT the case here with this overrated brand of GARBAGE!!!LGs are simply NOT worth it at ANY price! 👎
Bought our tv and delivered on the 8th November 2024 a week later we had our handy man in to unpack and put up on the wall. Whilst unpacking the tv we found it had a huge dent at the top and the screen smashed. The frame of the tv bent as well. Lg will not do anything for us. They say they only exchange up to 5 days and then that’s it. What the hell. What happened to having 30 days to return or exchange???? Well we have reported them to PayPal as we paid through pay pal thank goodness. We have taken pics of the damage and sent this to them. Avoid lg at all costs. We won’t be buying any lg products anymore.
Bought 2017 and pictures freeze and stutter and then catches up, streaming Netflix, Disney but also normal terrestrial tv. Remote also sluggish and unresponsive at times. TV also reboots itself at times. Also the WiFi connection cannot find any network. LG won’t repair as over 6 years now - probably don’t have the parts and fob you off to a third party, who probably also can’t get the parts. These things just don’t last much beyond 5 years.Got a Panasonic plasma going 15 years strong and it just works. Never by an LG again.
Easy to set up , programe guide very very slow ,when changing channels sometimes you get the picture but no sound for 1/2 minutes good picture would i buy another LG tv NO i will stick to samsung in the future . When turning the tv on could do with the picture coming straight on not the apps could go to the apps when i wanted to. The tv is a LG 5out 81006 LA 2024 model.Overall its rubish
Ordered a 50inch LG UHD tv it lasted 2hours before black screen of death. Was sent a replacement, that lasted 3weeks before it had a white line down the right side and across the middle of the screen, it then died completely a day later! Will never buy LG again.
Bought the latest ‘award winning’ OLED 42 C4 4L model. Now spent two days without success in resolving the non downloading user agreements error. Tried all the YouTube fixes. Finally spoke to product support and was told it needs up-to 48hrs to reset itself, then call back if it doesn’t….Not the user experience I was expecting from LG
I bought an LG 43 inch TV and it is a wonderful TV. Then I downloaded an instruction manual, which explained nothing! Manufacturers such as LG produce a great product, but why cannot they make available a manual which properly explains all it's functions? You cannot assume that people (especially the elderly) know this stuff. This has spoilt the pleasure of the purchase. I write as a disappointed and frustrated buyer.
It freezes, loses chosen channels, and has no updates. I hate how complicated it is to connect it to wifi. I hate the silly pointer remote that's never in the right place.I hate the silly design of the physical remote control that you can't put down without it wobbling over. The picture is good. And the stand it sits on is good because it will fit on a smaller tv unit/surfaceOtherwise it's too annoying.I won't ever buy another lg
Do not buy an LG TV. Mine is terrible. It's supposed to be wireless wifi but it kicks itself off the wifi every few minutes. Cannot use prime Netflix or catch-up because of it, yet none of our other devices disconnect when the TV does. The remote control... well I have no Idea why I press the settings button and get Netflix. Only had this TV a couple of months. Will be taking it back to Curry's. Absolutely terrible. Everytime the little go "life is good" comes up I just want to punch the TV. It is not good.
100% would NOT recommend. You need to download an app exclusive to LG to download other apps in order to play from a device (if they play. can only reliably cast YouTube and Netflix from a device)Loaded with stock LG apps that you mostly can't remove.Always the option to play an advertisement, generally on top of the list of all apps. So you'll accidentally click on this consistently.Currently going through an issue where it's losing its connection to the internet, so I'm watching Netflix on a phone, tablet or Laptop cause my LG TV fails to do it's one job, where these other devices work.Depending on how you play a video, a commercial break could just stop the video and start playing a different video entirely. The quality of the TV and image is fine. But when you have options for AI, Market Places and Game Optimization when you can't even get the basic usability satisfactory, you messed up.
Just bought an LG TV and if I could take it back tomorrow I would. Terrible terrible operating system which tries to force LG channels on you constantly, no matter how many times you try to reject it. Menu systems are massive, complex and there appears to be some type of data harvesting going on when you read the privacy agreements and terms which you are forced into consenting to, in order to use the TV. If you had chance to read the terms before buying the TV, I'd imagine most would be put off by that alone. Please do not buy one of these TVS.

“WHY CAN'T GIVE NO STARS TO THE WORST OF THE WORST”

LG is the absolute worst of the worst. I would say that the Owner's Manuals for LG TVs and sound bars were written by a chimpanzee, but chimpanzees are much more intelligent than whoever wrote the Owner's Manuals. To make matters worse, LG technical assistance personnel do not have a clue vis-a-vis the operation on their TVs and sound bars. Among other problems, the subwoofer does not work and it is impossible to set the tone adjustments. In sum this is a piece of unadulterated garbage. While I do not consider myself to be a techie, I am not new to tech. My entire home is automated. All of my light bulbs, outlets, switches, door locks, HVAC functions, garage doors, etc., are wifi. And yet the LG TV and sound bar are completely elusive. In sum, I cannot even begin to find words that would convey my extreme disappointment with LG. Whatever you might do, don't buy a LG product. Tip for consumers:Don't buy any LG products. Products used:TV and Sound Bar Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Good too use”

We bought this LG 55 'OLED TV, so it's just a little over a year. It just LOUDLY exploded while watching it about 3 weeks ago, shot out white sparks about 12' from the bottom left part of the screen and died a swift death. A Year Guarantee? That should be the first hint one has to have. If LG can offer a 1 year warranty on a TV that costs US dollars THIS MUCH ($1749. 99) then BEWARE Folks. The guarantee has doubled since we purchased it from Costco, so we are still safe.

“Nothing to be impressed about”

There are some things that my LG TV lacks on, but it's better than the ones I've had before. The main issue I have with my LG TV is the bootup speed, another thing too is how it processes things as it takes a while for the TV to handle things. The internet connectivity on it too is pretty slow, even when connected directly to the router using Ethernet. The smart features on the TV is also pretty limited as I wished to have the Amazon Alexa integration capability in it too, but I didn't get that in with the TV -- so I was quite a bit disappointed with it. My entire house is equipped with Amazon Echo devices and it's also a nice touch where I'm able to control a lot of smart appliances and devices with it which makes everything for me much easier to manage since I tend to be pretty busy throughout the day, so it takes a while to get things going. Tip for consumers:shop around before you decide to commit to LG Products used:LG

“Worst”

Really I bought 4k TV in LG. I had an warranty BT really wat company given status completely froud..

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
