Is lemon.io Legit?

They're great at what they do: connecting you to the developer/client and stepping out of the way so the work gets done in the most efficient manner possible!Would strongly recommend.

I've been working with Lemon for about a year and a half now, and I'm happy to say I haven't had any bad experiences with them at all. They've provided me with dozens of clients without me having to lift so much as a finger 😁

Lemon is the best remote work company in place right now.So far, every single manager or person I talked to, every developer I partnered up in projects, every time I needed everyone, they were super friendly and super kind to me, and I never had a single issue with anything while working with them.Despite how the market is going through bad times, we still made good work together and that's how they do, they ever managed to get things working for both sides.

I only have good things to say about Lemon. They managed to find me a good full time project quick and specific for my tech stack, they explained to me at all times the process and next steps, and they did regular checks on me to ensure everything was going smooth.But perhaps the experience that made me write this review was a particular misunderstanding there was with my client at the time. It ended up being nothing as it was a miscommunication issue, but while it was happening: Lemon took my words and side of story to heart and never doubted me against the client's. Not only that helped solve the whole issue faster, but it also made me feel like they had my back no matter how it would end. That really made me believe they are truly "pro developer". 10/10

I have been working with two clients through lemon.io and my impression is highly positive. Their main business target are small teams that are just about to launch a product or just passed POC stage and need an engineer to create MVP. Clear communication and expectations right from the outset save lots of time for all parties. Highly recommend it.

I’ve been finding clients via Lemon for 3 years so far. All my engagements were long term ones. A great thing about Lemon is that you don’t compete with other freelancers directly. There is a dedicated recruiter for you that works on providing relevant projects for you. Based on the tech stack you might be given more or less opportunities. As a senior fullstack .NET(React/Angular) engineer, I’ve been having waiting periods of 3-4 months between my 3 engagements. From my experience, this waiting period and the vague technical interview process are the only things I’ve found kinda frustrating for me. The Lemon team consists of young fellas and is responsive and understanding in most situations.

We ran them through our own hiring and testing processes as well. Great folks that helped us make meaningful technical progress.

We started with lemon.io and they found us a dev. Not bad for the beginning. At some point, the dev stop answering, he was still charging us, and moving forward a bit with the project, but not a lot. Then disappear, leaving us with a half done project. Lemon.io is not taking its responsability and just tell you they can replace it with somebody else.

I really enjoy my journey with this company. In my opinion, they managed to have an outstanding balance between growth and quality.

The team at Lemon is fantastic. After trying many different developer services unsuccessfully, we came across Lemon and haven't looked back. This is 100% scam.Their website is claiming multiple people are working on rates like 70-80$ even 100$ per hour with 7 and even fewer years of experience. However, when I tried to apply for 68 euro a woman named Kateryna told me that the max rates are 50. I do have 20 years of experience 19 in Java Backend and 9 in React/JavaScript/Typescript so to me all options on their website are fake and scam ОR at least misleading.

I think Lemon it’s one of the best companies for devs to work for. Great vetting process with qualified interviewers and a good environment to help you find a project that matches your skills. They were always there for me when I needed

I was impressed with the onboarding process, which was easy and pretty fast. I was matched with a dev with vast experience and in our first meeting could understand the project and provide immediate guidance. Over the first week, we discussed the approach and then he just got going. Along the way, he provided good updates, we worked together on some challenges, and he offered great advice on the code, the product, and the architecture. Overall he was a great resource. Definitely recommend.

We hired an engineer through Lemon.io to augment our team to help alleviate our pre-launch crunch. We were so thrilled by the work our contractor did, both in terms of quality of the code, as well as being a positive member of our team. The Lemon.io team was flexible and understanding when we kept giving new "last day" notices and extending our contract as funding came in. In the end, we kept our FT contractor for a couple more months than we originally though and it was an incredible value add to our small team!

Being a part of the Lemon community has been great so far. I can tell that the recruiters paid close attention to my preferences as they found me a long-term project that checks all the right boxes.
