Is lead-academy.org Legit?

I recently did a Phlebotomy course in Pontyclun, Wales and it was a fabulous experience. Clear lecturing, inclusive and non judgemental and everyone was involved. The atmosphere was both fun and friendly but highly professional which made the day engaging and pass so quickly. Thanks so much for this learning experience - I'll be back for the advanced course for sure :)

I paid for a diploma course, but instead of receiving a diploma, I only got a certificate. Additionally, there is a list of options to pay extra fees to access items like transcripts and electronic copies etc. I was under the impression that I would receive all of these electronically at no extra cost, allowing me to print them myself if needed. While I understand there might be a cost for physical copies, charging for electronic versions seems unreasonable given the initial course payment. Despite this issue, I found the course itself to be of good quality.

I paid for some training courses with Lead Academy and after completing their courses they procrastinated for several months about sending the certificates which was not forthcoming. They constantly kept lying and making excuses. They never responded to my complaint in writing so ultimately I raised a case with the small claims court and received my money back. Lead Academy make no mention on their website the company who is behind Lead Academy and secondly they have no complaints procedure on their website. In the event of a dispute where you have paid money this all makes it very difficult to get your money back. Eventually I ascertained that the company behind Lead Academy is Global Education Explore Ltd. Dissapointed with the services from Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy.

I was a bit worried about the phelobotomy course since it involved veins, blood etc. The day went so well with a great instructor giving us all the tips and going through the course material. The plastic/dummy arms which had veins gave us some courage before we practiced on real people (us). Our dummy had clotted veins which discouraged me but I ended the day with a lot of confidence. I am looking forward to doing the advanced course soon.

I did my level 1 BSL course from Lead Academy online. There were 3 tests to take over zoom. I did my 2nd test which they recorded over zoom to be then sent to external examiners. They then said that there was a problem with that recording and I had to re take it. Which is ridiculous as it was an error on their part. The person doing my exam had given me feedback straight after finishing it and told me I had passed. I did worse the second time and this put me under a lot of stress. Lead academy also were bad at replying to emails and giving important information. It took 5 months for my certificate to arrive as well and they couldn’t provide me with any explanation. Never again.

Course was good although the sound quality on some of the videos wasn't the best. Only issue I had was having to chase to receive my certificate after I had paid for it. I do think that the certificates should be included within the course fee as with all other online courses by other providers however the course price was reasonable.

I learnt more about phlebotomy, it was a great experience and an eye opener for a career growth.

I learnt so much during this counselling and psychology course, The tutor was great and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Customer service staff at Lead-Academy were prompt with communication, great choice of courses too. Highly recommend.

Excellent Courses! My daughter has taken several of these courses, one in particular: Complete English Punctuation brought her Punctuation skills from a functional skills level 1.1 to 2.8 in just a few days. High quality and highly recommended. Will be buying more.

I absolutely loved this course. Lead Academy made it quite reliable to keep track of my study progress and the material was very simple and easy to understand. 10\10 would definitely recommend using Lead Academy and would for sure use again in the future!

This was a great and easy service to use initially and navigating around my course was easy to do. The course itself was well presented and really good on giving all the relevant information. it had very useful practice sessions throughout and was easy to go back over to use these several times.
