lazada.sg Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives lazada.sg a medium-high trust score on the platform: 77.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Standard. Fair.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this above-average score? We came up with the 77.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to lazada.sg's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Known. Standard. Fair. tags above. Long story short, we deem this website low risk, but you still need to pay attention to details and use common sense when engaging in online transactions of any kind. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning lazada.sg, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between lazada.sg and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of lazada.sg. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of lazada.sg, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. lazada.sg is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether lazada.sg has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether lazada.sg boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, lazada.sg.

Useless and incompetent customer service, unable to handle refunds and returns. They used to be so much better. Now it’s just bots and zero resolutions.
There is only 1 live chat CS agent left, Zoe for both Lazada and Redmart. She never create a case no.to follow up on cases. Just chat for fun and disappeared for good. What kind of people does lazada hire?Lazada, be prepared to close your business for good.Ditch them for good.
Horrible serviceI had to dispute a defective product, I presented video evidence that said product had been defective. I fought all the way to the manager, and in the end. No refund, nothing. Just telling me the seller proved that the product was defective.4 calls, all delay. no action taken.
Horrendous return experience!! I bought AirPods Pro 2 and returned them unopened. The return process does not move at all without me calling them multiple times and every time I have to wait in line for 20mins. This took over a month and still isn’t close to being resolved. Worst customer service experience I ever had!! Would have never made the purchase if I knew Lazada was this unreliable and didn’t stick to the contract of sale!
Account hacked, notified of fraudulent purchase by email, no clear way to report fraudulent activity and suspend account- telecom after on hold for 30+ mins. Promise that would be referred to supervisor and action taken. No response and 2 days later second fraudulent purchase .. account was not blocked. subsequently have deleted all payment details and changed password -- can not delete account because activity being investigated, did receive auto mail telling me my issue resolved -- a farce and asking for positive feedback -- no faith in customer service nor ability to limit material loss by taking prompt action. DO NOT TRUST WILL NEVER USE AGAIN
Lazada has the worst customer service on earth. The calls are not answered and the agents cannot resolve problems. My item for refund shows pending collection but 13 days has passed and no one from Lazada or Ninja Van has contacted mt to collect the item. Ninja van says the return request had to raised from Lazada. The chat bot is USELESS. Worst nightmare dealing with Lazada customer service- incompetent and inefficient with average waiting time of 30 mins
Too many bad companies in Singapore. For example:LazadaAIA HealthcareFitness FirstRip off restaurantsUnhelpful apartment lease agentsSo I am quitting Singapore. These companies are bad for Singapore. The Singapore government should do something about them - shut them down.
Despite numerous phone calls and emails it appears impossible to return faulty and in my case misleading merchandise. Will never use this platform again and warn others to avoid at all costs!!
Lazada qc suck big time. Cancel seller listing after selling for four years. Reaching out to them to resolve the issue, they don't care and useless. Anyhow ban sellers over small minor things and refuse to resolve it when u clarify with them. Absolutely useless and disgusting behavior.
Didn’t receive my order but it was marked “delivered”. Contacted lazada but no one bother to reply. After this extremely bad experience, will not buy from Lazada again except no choice. Lazada doesn’t deserve 1 star, will give zero star if possible. Customer service also extremely bad. Getting from bad to extremely worse. Just shut down the whole SG office or burn down the while office. F***, liar, cheat other people money & fake company. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lazada customer service has got so bad now everything has been made difficult to get a refund and I have lost money because of conflicting information. They are just not the same company anymore. It is time for me to say goodbye 👋 👋
Bad experience with lazada customer service. I purchase goods, but delivery delay again and again. I even select 7-11 as collection point, but thr remark given to me is traffic busy, what rubbish is this. It has been nearly a month. No solution, only answer is WAIT. Even asking for refund also cannot as they said good is on the way !!Very unreasonable customer officer's reply.
Oh please dont shop here. it was a nightmare experience for me and their refund policy is biased and in favor of lunatic seller. Don’t waste your time and money shopping in this unreliable platform

lazada has extremely bad customer service and they are defrauding customers indirectly. I have a very bad experience with them and lost more than 150bucks buying items from them and never received them. They dont bother responding and rectifying the issue and takes no ownership of the service they are providing.
As online consumer with Lazada for past 2 years, I never have any issue. But since the Lazada retrenched their staff in beginning of 2024. Their quality dropped. I started not receiving goods that stated delivered. Straightforward refund approval for cancellation order by seller a month ago still pending. The pleasure of online shopping become a hassle when I have to keep track the number of refunds they own me and their agents resorted to taking my personal bank account details to resolve the refund matters. It’s daunting to shop in Lazada now.
I joined as a Lazada seller last year, seeking to explore e-commerce as a newcomer. However, shortly after setting up my store and conducting trials, Lazada impounded it, alleging that I duplicated a listing from another store of mine. Despite numerous email exchanges and chats with their customer support, they consistently provided no further explanation, leaving me frustrated. If others share similar experiences, I encourage them to voice their concerns. Subsequently, I opened a seller account with Shopee, which offered a significantly more positive experience.
I ordered 2 no’s. Fitbit Versa Lite on 9 Sep. @$198 each. On 10th, received a package containing only one Fitbit in original packing. Sent Lazada photos with request for shipping second unit or refund of price of one. After some delay they asked to contact Fitbit. Fitbit responded saying they are not responsible and advised me to seek refund/replacement from Lazada. Frustrated with both organisations 😠
I wrote a poor review on them a few days ago abt their customer service on a return /refund item in this site as well as on Lazada feedback. To my surprise within 4 days I had the item collected back n a refund made though I was more interested in an exchange rather. A small discount was thrown into the refund as well. Don't know if they are doing something abt it based on so many negative comments posted here. Still a big thank you to them is warranted on their efficiency. However, still feel their poor customer support needs to be addressed if they ever want to make customers happy n return to them.
Apparently Lazada allows to sell counterfeit products on their platform and does not carry any responsibility if the item is not purchased through Lazmall. Apparently they only care about making profits from selling fake goods and nothing else. Also, they block any reviews indicating fake products.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
