Flagged.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 38.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to lauritz.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Controversial. Flagged. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning lauritz.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between lauritz.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of lauritz.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of lauritz.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. lauritz.com is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether lauritz.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether lauritz.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, lauritz.com.

I was charged one dollar 3 times and then charged 29.99 a few minutes later. All this happened in less than 5 minutes. Now I'm trying to get my money back. If I could rate these people a 0 I would.
Sold items in October 2022 - get apology in april 2023 that payment is delayed ...... and still not get the payment for items sold !!!OPDATERING - Lauritz answer just covered over the fact that they used the sellers money and they are now in bancrupcy proceedings ! Seller get emails referring to debt register maintained by the appointed reconstruction attorney, Teis Gullitz-Wormslev of Kromann Reumert. This would mean that management for months have used seller funds to pay own expenses - now they ask you to trust them gain .......
After two months of waiting for a refund, because I gave up on the object that was damaged, I received an answer that the payment of money to customers was "temporarily frozen",... whatever that means. Such an attitude towards customers will only create additional mistrust and slow down or completely stop auction sales. Either someone advises them very badly, or they have calculated the amortization of their fall. Whatever, it's sad. One star for this occasion.
Our beautiful Colonial chair was sold at auction on March 6. We have still not received our money, 67 banking days later. We are beyond disappointed and angry for the financial distress this company has caused us and can only wonder if Lauritz is heading to bankruptcy! Forcing their customers to be their bank. This will be the last time that I ever use Lauritz.
The 23rd of Feburary, I sold a charm for a necklace, and i am dissapointet to say that today, June 9th, still have not received my money. Even more dissapointet to say that my neighbor that sold an item, of hers later than mine, just recived her money but also over the 60 day limit. And its not even a little amount of money that Lauritzen owe me.. Its almost 20.000 DKR…I really dont recomment Lauritzen to anyone! So dissapointetUpdateCostumer number 1907184
I bought 3 lots from Lauritz Nivå. Cannot book one lot transportation from website. When I asked Lauritz Nivå office what was wrong with the booking, they didn’t answer. Instead, they ask for double price for another two little single things even though they promised they can be sent in one pakage before I paid the post mail.
I purchased an item from Lauritz which was defective. They accepted my return at the end of April. Here we are going into July and I have still not received the 4300 DKK from my return. They claim that they have extended their payments to people who have SOLD items - not returns. So I can't begin to understand why they haven't refunded me yet. I have emailed them many times, and was met with a response as vague and short as "We hope to send you your money." Do not sell or purchase from this company as it wouldn't be surprising if they went bankrupt soon. An absolute scam.
EDIT following Lauritz response to this review: I have evidence of the company declaring themselves bankrupt in a Paypal conversation.Apparently 2 days after I made a purchase (and subsequently cancelled with Lauritz' agreement due to shipping 5 times price of the product ordered) they are BANKRUPT. They declared this to me when I had to resort to opening a Paypal case. However, they website is still trading, and taking payments. Fraudulent company, beware.
The second time I sold thru Lauritz. The first time it was a real hassle to receive my money for items sold, the second time it is even worse. I am still waiting many months later. They stopped responding. NEVER again!I will have to make the ombudsman aware of these almost fraudulent practices. Or maybe they are close the bankruptcy??? However, very unethical business practices.
Item sold in march still havent received my payment. Received an email after selling that the payment terms were changed from 40- 60 days. An agreement I never approved. Reported them to the medias and consumers organisation. Regardless of contacting Lauritz several times and they promised to get back they never did and probably end up getting their way with 60 days anyways. I will NEVER sell anything with them again. Lack of respect for the customers and not trustworthy.I have contacted then on email several times and am being told they would look at it asap and give me my money. Fact is that nothing happens. I get the same standard answer as here. In the end they will take their 60 days refund in the end anyways. Not a trustworthy business at all. Next time it will be Bruun-Rasmussen.
This can't be a serious luxury auction house. It's the second time, I use it, but I can't believe their lack of profesionalism. Is this run by first year interns?Transport: When you put the bid, they offer that they can transport the goods to a closer warehouse for easier convenience, or to get it delivered straight to your home (at an outrageous price). Winning the bid... well turns out you need to contact the transport company yourself, and you get nothing else than here's a phone number those are the lads we work with. If you go to the warehouse to pick up your good, don't expect your good to be even in a carton box. Nah... its done like a lost and found in a public train station: ''Ah here's your hand-blown glass, that we took an hammer fee of 100kr, and added 25% purchaser fee, but you must be stupid to thing we'll at least have a carton box for it''Can DBA buy that dumpster on fire, and make it at least more user friendly than a public bathroom?
I purchased a lot of Glassware.. I have set up my account in English.. I come to pick up the lot and I can see there is damage... I tell them that and is told, it is written in Danish and they do not garantee anything that is not written in danish.. as they do not manual translate anymore.. it is done by Google... So all foreign buyers beware... and all Danes that have their account set up to show the description in English... I will follow up, as it can not be legal...
I visited the Nivå branch today, in order to get an item valued. She starts, sensibly enough, by looking up the retail price for the item, as it is still being sold. She tells me “it sells for kr300 new”. That sounds wrong, so I leave. In the car I Google the item myself, and it sell new for kr3.000, 10x the figure she mentioned. I re-entered the office, in order to request that she check again. She wanted me to look at her screen, which seemed pointless. Then, one of her colleagues says she agrees with me. The price-as-new is kr3.000 online. I was astonished at the unprofessionalism and left promising never to buy or sell anything there again. People, be very careful if you rely on their valuations. It seemed amateurish, as I was able do a better job myself. Sad.
My item (a goldring) was never send to me. I called and wrote several times since the costumerservice gave me wrong informations about the parcel. They mixed up the parcels and gave me wrong numbers and informed me wrong that it was send and waiting for me. It was never send and i have to do all the contact with GLS to get back to Lauritz.! Then LAURITZ would “look for the ring, because they were sure they send it”..! Its now 3 days for looking and no reply on my mails about my money back or my phonecalls. I was nr 1 in que, for 4-5 min it rings and then its another person saying the receptionist is “at lunch” ( at 13.20??). Im so annoyed and just like to have feed back about my item or my money returned. How difficult is it??😕And no i didnt recieve the parcel! It was another item i bought and recieved. The costumerservice said it has disappered before it was even send: Now im promised my money back tomorrow “ when his boss is back”. I have been waiting 8 days now.
LAURITZ.COM IS FINALLY DEAD! LOT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE GOING TO DANCE ON IT'S GRAVE... I'M ONE OF THEM! KARMA IS A ****, RIGHT?
1 star for the arrogance. That's for the condescending response template.
I've read a lot of negative reviews after I won my bid but have to say it doesn't echo my experience. I bought a good quality bike for relatively cheap. The only downside would be it was difficult to see an option to allow me to pick I up at the auction house but I'm sure there's an option somewhere. Also maybe the hammer price was a little on the expensive side, but overall a very happy pleasant experience. Thanks Lauritz
I am an regular buyer of Lauritz. Most of my experiences are positive. I would like to give my compliments to the Vejle, Herlev and Aarhus branch. These are my favorite branches as they always provide excellent service. The shipping departments there are really putting lots of effort into the packaging. Buying from them has always been a pleasant experience.I had a few negitive shipping experence with other branches. But the staff were willing to help. There has been no case that I were left alone dealing with problems.Much appreciated.
I only had a very good experience with Lauritz for the past 10 years and i am very very sad to see its going . Also i want to thanks all teams who were helping me buying wonderful unique pieces. Hope to deal with you in near future.
Submitted an item for valuation, got a rude email back telling me to sell it on qxl. I asked them why, and why they wouldn't even evaluate the item (as stated that they would on their website). I got a rude and unprofessional email back stating a price that I can only assume they plucked out of thin air. Im not even mad or complaining about the price, it's the tone and unprofessional way they conduct themselves.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
