The Scam Detector website Validator gives latitudefinancial.com.au one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 10.5. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 10.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to latitudefinancial.com.au's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning latitudefinancial.com.au, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between latitudefinancial.com.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of latitudefinancial.com.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of latitudefinancial.com.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. latitudefinancial.com.au is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether latitudefinancial.com.au has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

“SCAM Credit service”

Latitude is a complete scam,so many fees and charges. Even after paying all the credits still charged me. I called and wait time is 1 hour plus only to find out one Indian customer service hang up. I will never ever recommend latitude to others. Service Value Quality

“Latitude Financial is a scam”

I firmly alert against drawing in with Latitude Financial, as my experience proposes they work as a trick organization. Be careful about any contribution, as it might bring about monetary misfortune and negative outcomes. I've gotten my cash back and that was just way I could go about it. I found support from. (I Involved THEIR Site URL AS MY Showcase NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS Audit INCASE YOU Want Assistance AND Believe Should Connect with THEM). Note: I did this on account of the severe arrangement here and truly I simply need to help whatever number individuals as would be prudent to get their cash back.

“Avoid Avoid Avoid”

I recommend avoid Lattitude at all cost!I wanted to give 0. Unbelievably incompetent, disorganised and clueless. No communication between departments. Most ignorant customer service. David Jones merged with them after dropping Amex. The poorest merge ever. Same as go mastercard. I can not link them on "lattitude service centre" and every time I call, they are either super busy or asks the customers to call back after handing out different departments number. I asked for a lost go mastercard received a David Jones one instead right after receiving my new David jones "premier" mastercard. I was told multiple different reasons why I cant link and told to do multiple different things. Never found a resolution. I am still in the loop and still nothing is sorted. Only few months in, they are already the most incompetent financial institutions. I don't know why DJ or Go MC choose Lattitude to handle their business. They were ok when they were doing layby, BNPL, however they couldn't pull that one off properly either. Now they are dealing with this and messing it up for the customers. Once I am done paying off these cards, I'm done with this. Absolutely frustrating! 0 recommended! Products used:Credit card service Service Value Quality

“Latitude / Creditline is little more than a scam”

If I could give negative stars I would, but unfortunately I had to give one star. Terrible customer service. Impossible to talk to someone. Extremely poor app, website navigation. Hidden fees. Impossible to close the account. Whoever is in charge of this 'business' should be incarcerated. It is a thinly veiled scam. Apple would do well to have no association with Latitude / Creditline. Tip for consumers:Do NOT use Latitude / Credline Products used:I bought a new computer financed through this company. Service Value Quality

“Dont waste your time”

As a valued customer, latitude lacks all the service, the wait times on the phone, customer satisfaction, communication barrier breakdown of non english staff and a cant do attitude or ( basically no idea, leading back to staff training/active listening).Latitude you are losing more and more people while the ceo lines his/her pockets of a nice salary increase.I choose to take my business elsewhere, too bad so sad.

“Absolute disgrace customer service”

I've never been so disappointed with a financial institution as with I have with latitude right through the cyber crisis to needing information documents once leaving them. The are dishonest & lies about helping with emails & sending them' wasted my time on hold & constantly calling to request the same thing over & over again. But receiving nothing it's discussing after be a long term customer. Their complaint centre is no better they follow up nothing. Would stay away & go through a more reputable company with a better rating. Wouldn't recommend latitude ever..

“Rude”

Unnecessary time wasting verifications & rude customer service. The Indian operator was bitter & tired, could barely speak English & was clearly not suited to providing friendly customer service. Try ANZ Low Rate instead. Tip for consumers:It's becoming standard that companies using Indian operator service because it is cheap, have little concern for customers. Indians have a different understanding to what being friendly means. This was just my first impression, I hate to think what nightmares awaited me once I signed. Products used:ANZ Low Rate Service Value Quality

“Loans from USA”

Have been getting mail from Latitude asking if i want to take out a loan, you might have seen their adverts, and pushing to get into Australian Markets, their pitch is only 4 banks and 1 pay TV network, trying to make us a little backward in this country, would you really take out a loan from overseas, is our banking system that bad, and the way Media and Pay TV is, well not a lot of value their either, and most of the content is USA owned, are we getting that way we need to take loans from overseas Tip for consumers:check out the the rate of interest and the small print

“Identity Theft - Slow and Reluctant to Admit Failures”

Latitude's vetting process to verify customer identity is rubbish. Crooks with only your driver's licence details can open a Buy Now Pay Later account and you end up with the debt. Latitude will drag their feet to admit they screwed up when you front up to tell them it wasn't you. They set debt collectors onto me for a debt that was not mine. It took me over a month and many emails to get them to concede that they would not pursue me, no admission of fraud by a third party, just they would not hold me liable. So no admission to their failures. And the advice was via text message. How bad is that, not a formal letter or email. Debt collector by contrast (PRA Group) has been very helpful and communicative. Top marks to them. So even if you don't do business with them you can still get screwed over by them. But wait there is more, your personal details stolen by crooks to open a Latitude account then get hacked by other crooks due to their poor cyber security. Screwed twice. Well done Latitude. They have no business to be in the finance industry.

“Worst customer service, very terrible experience! Stay alert with them!”

I paid out all the amount, even though they file a report as missed payment, I got a bad credit history because of negligence of the staffs. I am 200% sure, I will take legal action against them.

“Mega FAIL”

Never have I had such bad address as a customer. I would never recommend L Financeto anyone...in fact I would tell them to RUN the other direction. Disgraceful company.

“Incompetent dispute resolution and customer service teams”

Absolute worthless customer service and dispute resolution team. For months now I have been trying to get a dispute resolved relating to 2 transactions worth $3600 (for 4 samsung phones). I told them months ago, I never made those transactions and I never got any phones delivered to me. The Dispute resolution team declined my dispute saying that Samsung Australia has confirmed that these phones were delivered to me. I reached out to Samsung Australia and they refused to give me any details of these transactions due to privacy laws because the name on the transactions is not mine and the address these 4 phone delivered to does not match my address. I went back to Lattitude financial customer service numerous time and told them what Samsung Australia told me. To my surprise they just keep repeating that they have done whatever they could and I am free to take any LEGAL ACTIONS. I have called dispute resolution team 6 times and everytime I got voicemail and everytime I requested for a call back and till date nobody had the courtesy to call me back. I feel extremely stressed and worn out due to all this back and worth and still not getting anywhere. I am being forced to pay for something I never ordered, even though they have no concrete proof. Anybody reading this, please advise how can I take legal actions against such incompetent people. Service Value Quality

“HORROR COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE”

THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK CONSTANTLY ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD AND RUDE NO WONDER YOU HAVE SUCH BAD FEEDBACK Service Value Quality
