Is lansforsakringar.se Legit?

Länsförsäkringar's website is functional but feels outdated in terms of usability. I struggled to find clear instructions for making an international transfer, which should be straightforward but isn't. The process is confusing, and essential details are hard to locate, leaving me with no choice but to contact customer service. The site could benefit from better user guidance and more intuitive navigation. It’s clear the site needs a modern update to improve user experience.

Very happy with the service. The administrative part is somewhat restrictive and rigid though.

LF was there when I needed a bank account, now I also have my home insurance and car insurance with LF. Great people, great service - Tack!

I telephoned Lansforsakringar today to purchase 5,000,000 SEK of Life Insurance for me, and 5,000,000 SEK of Life Insurance for my partner. These amounts were too high to buy using the online form. Having spoken to an advisor on the telephone, apparently everyone at the company who deals with the sales of life insurance is on holiday, so they can't help me until they're back. This is somewhat surprising (i) that a company the size of Lansforsakringar doesn't have cover for this and (ii) they're not interested in me purchasing a product from them. I guess I will go elsewhere!

I got compensation for car insurance. They are fast and reliable. I got 150SEK compensation for each day the car was fixing.

Much of the internet baking and messaging system is not fit for purpose. The support staff like to tell you it's your cookies, history files or cache but when you send them a complete copy of everything their system has written to the computer and ask them to explain what it is they have incorrectly written they go silent. I suspect the staff training is simply looking up the customer support menus and passing predefined excuses from a menu driven response facility. Nobody knows what to do when you demonstrate the lack of knowledge so they just ignore the real issue and carry on offering mind-numbing innuendo.

First, we paid for the 1-year insurance in full. Then, just 3 months later, they sent me a new insurance policy with a different number and asked me to pay again. Now some guy named Erik is trying to convince me to pay and claims that I don't have insurance, even though when I check my insurance on their website, it shows that my car is covered. OMG, people! Just stop being scammers and ripping off customers!

During last week, I made a basic house insurance search online for my new house which I'll get access in end of August. Then I received a phone call from LF's sales person who gave me some offers. I friendly told him that I'll make decision later, if I decide to choose your service I'll call back to sign contract.But one week later, I receive full papers showing that I have signed contract for house insurance and individual accident insurance. I call back immediately to terminate the contract and tell them I didn't agree to sign any contract. The service staff told me that he can see in their system that I got quotation on 29/6 and then I called back next day on 30th to sign contract, which is completely fake info that salesperson made up.This is really disgusting that you need to spent time and effort to terminate some contract which is completely out of your mind. So be careful with their offer, or just ignore their contact if don't have any idea on which service you want to buy exactly.

I'm a Danish citizen ( used to work in Sweden) & therfore have my pension in this company.THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COMMUNICATED WITH..!They won't provide mail adresses to communicate, their phone lines are busy for hours and hours. Enen their "ombudsmand" dosn't reply mails..... Unfuc....believable!!

Big NO for this bank.We have been loyal clients for years but recently very junior staff , unprofessional and incompetent approach caused us a lot of time and energy to explain. Save yourself and find another bank to trust.

Despite this being included in my policy, the insurance declined to cover the cost of changing the locks of my house when I lost the keys because according to them they cannot be traced back to my house. It does not matter that I most likely lost them in my neighboorhood, there is key chain with our names and nationality (which are the only two of our city, easily found on hitta.se), the number of the apartment on the key and the company of the building on the tag. No, there should be something explicitly mentioning the address attached to make it reasonable. As if that is a safe thing that anyone does.

Their sales people are straight up lying to sell their services.I was told the personal deductible in case of damage is X amount. They forced me to pay Y.Next year, I tried to cancel my subscription and they tricked me by saying that the policy changes and now you'll never have to pay more than X amount.Another problem appeared and they asked Y amount again...Trick me once, shame on you. Trick me twice, shame on me.

Straight up Scumbags. Our child was born with a heart condition and they told us our insurance doesn’t cover it as it’s not a serious enough condition. Now when we come to insure her as a child they say they can’t cover her cause she has a condition. Which one is it… is it not bad enough or too bad!

the customer service is non-existend anymore.That was different some years ago when I had all my banking and insurance services with Lansförsäkringar But now there is absolutely nothing left that can be called customer service (Just algorithms and impersonal responses) I have even a subtle feeling that they scare people away on purpose. If you have a problem it's definitely not theirs. Too bad for a bank that I trusted for so many years. Now I will move everything that I have with them to another well-known bank in Sweden. I guess they are at least happy with Lansforsäkringars service ;)

Is this company racist ? Or they rude to everyone!!!If you're looking for good bank or insurance company this not it They rude, and thief , 20k out of my account I didn't authorize it, send them emails no response, call no response either Scammers on suits

The worst insurance company ever.... PLEASE I request to all of you from all over the world, just choose any other insurance in Sweden 🙏 but not Länsförsäkringar.....They have the world's dumbest and worst customer service and plus they cheat you.

Be careful with this company, scammers! they do not fulfill their insurance contracts. I'm starting a court battle with them .

It's a great bank and insurance company. The customer support seems to be superior to all other banks in Sweden but it can vary a lot depending on the offices (I love the one in Sandviken whereas I hate the staff in Gävle).
