Is koorsen.com Legit?

I called Koorsen because I had a low battery and I had questions about my key fob. Derrick Moore arrived when he said he'd be there and replaced the battery. He was very polite, professional, and answered any questions I had. The customer service was great!

5-year(!) contract was not disclosed at time of sale. Sensor fault prevented arming while I was out of town for an extended period - called for service, never replied, leaving home unprotected. Koorsen basically sold my account to some other out-of-state company with no local reps. Now I'm stuck with a dead system for 3-1/2 years. They may be OK for commercial accounts, but homeowners should stay far away.

EVEY SENSE kOORSEN TOOK OVER MY FIRE EXSTINGUISHER HAVENT BEEN DONE ON TIME! BILLING IS GOING TO WRONG PLACE IT SEEMS SO UN ORGANIZED DOES YOUR MAIN OFFICE EVERY COMMUNICTE WITH YOUR LOCAL OFFICE IT DOSENT SEEM LIKE IT NORTHEN WAS SO MUCH MORE ORGINZED NOT BEEN HAPPY REAL CLOSE TO SWITCHING.

You need to set up the payment page to autofill the customer info and the invoice data on the page.I've complained about this before!This is 2024, not 1924!

Great company to do business with and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a full service provider when it comes to Fire, Life Safety and Security. I've had the pleasure working with Eric Gray out of their Louisville branch. He's very knowledgeable, dependable and quick to respond. He's definitely an asset to the Koorsen family.

We have been utiziling services from Koorsen Fire for several years now and have never been let down. They are always courteous and provide excellent care and attentiveness. We have been impressed by them so much, we switched from Tyco Security to Koorsen Security for our alarm system.

Koorsen, We are really pleased to have Koorsen Fire & Security on board with our school facility. Bringing our facility up to date is going to be a challenge. We are confident that Koorsen can make this happen. We were hoping for a quick transition but, as to be expected with an old system, there have been some hiccups. Brian Brown helped us tremendously today. We have been trying since ourinspection to get everything updated. We have made several phone calls to the office and spoke with several different people. They told us that they would have someone get back with us and never did. You are getting the five star because of Brian Brown. You should have more employees like him.

Very friendly and helpful. He let us know that we can get replacement fire extinguishers from Kidda due to a recall. We did purchase new and are going to be calling Kidda regarding our other ones.

Very professional inspector. Any question's we had he answered. Great experience with this company. They were prompt about getting us scheduled when we called. Actually they scheduled us the same day we called for inspections.

When you deal with a company long enough a problem will arise . Koorsen has over the years surprised me with the way they have solved an occasional problem or a service hiccup. What separates Koorsen from others is how they fix the issue. Great job!

I have a new business, and needed to have several fire extinguishers placed in my building. I called Koorsen to get a quote. I am certainly glad I did. I got my extinguishers and the BEST customer service. I would recommend Koorsen to anyone who needs Fire and Security needs. Bravo for the customer service.Mindy Bittner

I think Koorsen has provided fire protection services at nearly every location I've ever worked. They're always very professional and take the time to explain things. I would recommend them to any business for their fire protection services.

I've never had any issues with the Richmond, Indiana location before Koorsen services were handled from a central location. I called the number posted on the website at the Richmond location, was transferred to Pennsylvania, then was transferred to another a person who had to "write a ticket". I had to stay on hold while this person "wrote a ticket." Then I was told that someone from New York would contact me within 48 hours to confirm my order. Total transfers...three; on hold total of 10 minutes. Not looking forward to the next step. I just want a key fob to replace the one that stopped working! Updating your website with the correct contact information and streamline your services will serve them well for the future.

Service call was for a series of false alarms. The serviceman was polite and explained that he could not diagnose or fix our problem because Koorsen had installed one brand panel, and a second brand receiver to "communicate" with even more brands of sensors. He suggested that the options were to replace all parts which were not compatible with our present panel, or to "upgrade" to a new technology sytem. He said he would have a salesman call us. We were charged $100 (plus tax) for this service. Nearly three weeks later (after we made another call) a salesman finally called. He quoted a $1000 price for replacing the incompatible parts in our present system or $850 (AND increasing the monthly monitoring fee by more than 2/3) for installing a new system. The quoted price of the new system did NOT INCLUDE monitored smoke alarms or window sensors on six windows----items included in our present system.

Koorsen is usually on the spot quickly when I call. I understand the busy schedules from each customer they have and also know every job don't happen as quick as everyone wants it done which is now or yesterday. They are always ready to answer any questions I have and ready to solve most issues. Good people to deal with.

I had no idea what kind of system I needed and have never used a system before. They were able to help me select the best components for my needs at a reasonable price. The DIY installation was straightforward and the system works great! I would highly recommend Koorsen to anyone who needs a security system!

First of all, I did not like the idea of signing the technicians phone after the initial contact without seeing what I was signing for. Second, the technician was not totally clear on the procedure of taking my extinguishers to be tested etc. and then returning them later. I had gotten the impression, he was leaving old extinguishers for my newer ones. After repeated calls, the technician at last brought them back after more than two weeks. The technician was polite in his dealings with me. The office personnel were also polite. One person even offered to deliver the extinguishers herself. Your company took over the local company that I had some experience with in which this activity never occurred before. Hope this was helpful.

new man, unfamiliar with our facility. missed some extinguishers that he will have to get next time. it would be nice if we could get our invoice that day so I can finish up our purchase order.
