Breathable fabric turned out to be polyester, which is not nice in summer. Advertised to make you think your purchase is coming from Byron Bay when in fact it came from China. Took ages to get it. Free delivery except you get charged an international transaction fee! Would not buy from them again.
delivery too long, the cotton/linen shirt had loose cotton ends out of buttons that should have been sewed securly. Inner components of the shirt had loose cotton ends unfortunately not secured or knotted, seams were loose. Another cotton shirt was 5% cotton and 95% cheap polyester. I purchased two shirts from a Koala Couture that gives the impression that their company is Australian based. "Fast and free shipping across Australia" The location on their website also gives the impression that the company is Australian based with a map pin and Australia written beside it. The company in fact is selling directly from China. The items I received were posted from China and took over one month to arrive. The items were faulty and did not look like the shirts that I purchased. I provided photos of the faulty items and requested a refund. At first they offered me an exchange. I advised that I wanted a full refund as the items were faulty. They then offered a refund on one shirt and a 30% refund of the other shirt. I insisted as the items were faulty that I receive a full refund. Eventually I received a refund of the purchase price. I also advised as the items were faulty that I wanted to have my return freight refunded. In an email on 2nd October I was advised by Sherihan "Regarding the return postage for faulty items, I assure you that we will cover this cost if the items are indeed faulty." They are now refusing to reimburse me for my return freight charges.Their email responses are outside of normal trading hours in Australia. Their responses are usually after midnight Australian time.I have kept all emails to and from Koala Couture and have reported them to the ACCC and the Federal Trade Commission via econsumer.govThe return address details were provided as the following. Excessive delays in the shoes arriving. I believe the company is a cover for Temu. Temu was the name on the postage information. Shoes arrived in terrible packaging- no invoice or clear branding. Shoes are hideous - not the same colour as picture and a disgusting plastic material. Terribly made.
Disgusting dishonest rubbish site, they need to be shut down. Do our consumer group have any influence as it pertains to be Australian but the cheap nasty item came from China
No stars - deceptive advertising, company ships from China not Byron Bay, “leather” shoes are vinyl and poorly made. Buyer has to post back to China to get a refund - company relies on this being difficult to offer “partial refund” and retain most of your money. Avoid at all costs.

Whatever you do, AVOID buying from koala-couture. They are not from Byron Bay. Mine came from Yanwen in China, four weeks after I ordered them. The fit was at least five sizes smaller than labelled. The material was immediately full of static and looked and felt awful. The visible and mismatched hand-stitching was dreadful. Ugh! What a waste of my hard-earned money. I wish I'd read the reviews first. I, too, would give zero stars if I could. So disappointed.
I would prefer to not give even 1 star! I received “orthopaedic sandals” which don’t fit and are very poorly made. Facebook page states a full refund for unsuitable products is available. This company does not reply to emails. Very unscrupulous traders.Buyer Beware…do not deal with this company

I ordered 4 shirts according to the sizes on their chart (I measured) and the beautiful patterns in the pictures. The sizes are way out and none of the patterns look quite the same. One is totally different. In addition, the fabric feels cheap. I am in the process of talking to them about this. My previous experience with this order (non arrival in spite of tracking number) was positive and they “resent” the articles after they were lost. Terrible Quality. Bought some ‘Maddy Orthopaedic Sandals’ which from the picture looked to be a similar quality to Birkenstocks. Sandals arrived in a plastic bag, no box or branding, straight from China. I reckon you could buy these on the streets of Bali for around $3 AUS. Hoping for refund but doubtful.
I ordered the Maddy orthopaedic sandals and paid $64.95 down from $130. What a totally rip off! They are only worth $3-$5 at best, absolute junk. Absolutely zero contouring or support for you feet. They say they are based in Byron bay and I live in brissy yet my order took 3 weeks to arrive. When I contacted them to return my sandals I was offered 80% refund or return for another item. Thee is nothing Australian about this company.
What a disappointing experience dealing with this company, firstly the delivery was so slow, I wanted these for a holiday ( they didn’t arrive on time). Secondly the sizing wasn’t correct, so when I returned from my holiday, I asked about swapping the size, strictly 14 days return, no customer service at all. Koala Couture is a complete scam. I purchased shoes from them. They gave me 3 different false tracking numbers. Of course, the shoes never arrived and they refuse a refund. They continue to \"assure\" me they are \"sorry for the inconvenience\" and the shoes are in transit.
