kmart.co.nz Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives kmart.co.nz one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to kmart.co.nz's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning kmart.co.nz, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between kmart.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of kmart.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of kmart.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. kmart.co.nz is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether kmart.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether kmart.co.nz boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, kmart.co.nz.

Impressed with the free delivery and cheap prices. Very happy with my microwave, frying pan and grater and my girlfriend was happy with the earrings I got her (removed the packaging and she thought they were a lot flasher than they cost. I wish was a Kmart closer to mebut very happy with buying online deal. Arrived quicker than I expected.
Everything I have ever bought from Kmart (everything for Uni, flatting, and first house) has carked it within a year. Air fryers, frying pans, pots, tongs, utensils, tea towels, under garments, phone accessories, you name it, I've probably bought it for my house twice. Sure, that $4 grater seems like a steal now, but when the handle breaks off after a month and you pay for another, you may as well have bought an $8 grater from somewhere better originally. The only props I can give, they have decent shelves/storage boxes for sale. Kind of.
Not sure why the low review, have always had good experience with kmart online. Cant get much cheaper. IF anything makes me wonder about factory conditions
Went to the Petone store on the 24 April and what an absolute shambles. Some aisles we couldn't get the trolley through as there was so much stuff on the floor or carts piled high just parked up. So many shelves just empty and a lot of the shelves didn't even have price labels displayed. However Linda at checkout was lovely. No we won't be going back.
For such a big business, you would expect their website to be up to date and work well. Their system for online orders is ineffective at best, and very frustrating for customers. If you add things to your cart that are marked as available, they will suddenly become unavailable. And it can take weeks for them to let you know a product you ordered is no longer available and refund your money.
Toaster needed replacing so went into KMart Whangarei, found the toasters but not the one listed online as in stock. Checked my ph in-store to show the staff member who then told me they couldn’t bring them out because the shelf was too full of the plastic toasters. I then went to another staff member, an older lady, who promptly went and got a trolley load of them. 4 stars for the service and lack of staff training. I would like to give 0 for being called Karen for showing the website to the first staff member. Toaster was exactly as described.

Regular online purchases very impressive fast delivery & likewise great value for money on their product range and would rate them 5 stars all day & more if I could!Missing 2 stars relates to excellent Anco stick vac purchase where k Mart won't stock spare replaceable batteries which are unavailable in NZ & Australian distributors can't/won't supply batteries to NZ because of Aus postal laws. - So when battery degrades & weakens the Vac becomes a throwaway vac destined for landfill! - K Mart should offer an option to purchase a spare battery with every unit sold & with each charge on full boost lasting only 12 minutes with a 5 hour recharge period, - then would expect most would purchase. Other suppliers offer spare batteries for around $50Also unable to Post my review on K Mart website which begs the question "Why are all own website reviews so good in contrast to the bad reviews on this site?"
Placed an order for an item marked as "Just landed". 15 minutes later I receive an email telling me it was cancelled because it was unavailable. The website still shows the item as available. The email explains they'll give me money back in 5 days. I lodge a query with their automated chat. No response from the chat whatsoever. It was clearly unattended.I emailed them with my concerns. They send a cut and paste reply suggesting that the item sold out in the 15 minutes between my order being placed and the order being processed, but was restocked in the 5 minutes after that.Basically, they are, in my opinion, operating a corporate fraud here. They accepted money for goods/services they never intended to supply, provided misleading/false information about the availability of the product and refuse to refund the money in a prompt manner.I strongly suggest anyone wanting to purchase products from them do so in-store. Their online operation is untrustworthy.
I am very impressed with the speed of delivery and quality of items for my recent order with Kmart NZ.The online shopping platform is simple and user-friendly. My only gripe is that the website allowed me to add items to my cart, only when I opened the cart a message appeared stating products were "sold out online".If products are sold out online, these should not be able to be added to a shopping cart. There were many products unavailable online, which I had to remove from my cart and seek alternatives for - a tedious process. It seems that stock-outs are an ongoing issue. I hope that they work on this.Overall, I am happy with my experience and the products received, and would purchase online again.
Every single time my wife and I order from Kmart online, some of the items are cancelled and refunded. This particular time was about a month after making the initial order. Every other online retailer seems to be able to have accurate stock on their eCommerce platforms - why don't you?Even when building a cart. Adding items to the cart sometimes makes other items out of stock, only to appear back in stock when that item is removed again. This is a repeatable problem. Sometimes selecting 2 of the item instead of one makes it come back in stock. Your website is potentially irreperably broken.I was looking forward to teaching my wife how to longboard this summer, but those items were cancelled this time. I can see that they are in stock at two stores, and the listing says "back in stock online soon".I personally will never order from Kmart again, it's simply too unreliable, and you never actually know what you'll end up receiving.
Areas in need of improvement by Kmart NZ online.. less stars as let down by poor packaging .. or total lack of any packaging around breakables in the past .. china loose in box banging on other items arriving damaged and awful customer service on line. Hopeless. So why any stars .. they have Some cool stuff at cheap prices .. and what is good and not broken on arrival is what I gave stars for. But think carefully before buying loose china or glassware. it comes in a box with items unwrapped at bottom of box and bubble air bag on top ..so no protection at the bottom and nothing to stop things moving around breaking each other .. this has happened.
I brought a lego set, which I would have liked have kept for collection. It arrived wrapped in a very thin cling layer of plastic only. I made a complaint only to be told, basically "too bad how sad", they don't consider it damaged, I can return to a store (Yeah right - can't guarantee the product will be stocked). One side of the box is completely crushed in. It would be nice if this could be retuned via courier and a better packed one sent out. I would not mind but a week later my other order of sheets, duvet, blanket arrived in big box, with air bags ...... What the heck. Lesson learnt - I will never buy Lego from here again - The Warehouse, ensure all items are well packed - and arrived perfect - unlike Kmart ..... As Rain man said ...... Kmart sucks!
Took 3 items in for a refund on 20/07/21, they only refunded me for 1 of the items. Have been trying to get my refund since! They don't seem to be phased that it's been a month. Worst customer service experience I've ever had.
The customer service is really good
In-store afterpay would make things so much easier, if everywhere else can do it I’m sure they can
Would be 5 stars if the store ever ever ever once in there life picked up the phone on any of there 5 lines because they dont 2 stars.
Nothing special to mention about but then nothing adverse to say either.
Useless online chat service, doesn't work
Great products. Very affordable.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
