Is kinektdesign.com Legit?

I pre paid for two rings and they never delivered. Then the master “Glen” sent me a nasty email about how I attacked him when I asked him how I could be reimbursed for the rings he never delivered after a year of waiting. That’s over $400 I paid and got 0 product. If I could rate this company less than 1 star I would. Childish, loser runs this so called “company” invest your hard earned money elsewhere. I’m sure they’ll probably just get this review removed. But word of mouth is the most powerful tool.

I purchased my original Kinekt gear ring in 2016 and it still is as beautiful as the day I purchased the ring. I get tons of compliments and requests for information on the ring daily. My ring came beautifully packaged and the customer service was excellent. Reading other reviews I am floored as this is far from the quality and service I have recieved from Kinekt. I am willing to pay more original designs and for much higher quality products that last a lifetime, so I just purchased my second gear ring and necklace. Excited for new original designs. I love my Kinekt

Ordered a Stakt ring and it cannot be worn. The ring is bulky and thin metal that will cut you if worn. Reached out and never got a response for a return.

I paid 50 € for a gear ring and 20 € to be shipped in Greece. Well not only I haven't received the ring but the seller tried to convince me to pay another extra 50 € for the shipping because 20 isn't enough despite our mutual agreement. I didn't pay the extra 50 of course and I haven't received the ring neither my money."Thieves" I lost 70 €. Stay away.

Overpriced and poorly designed garbage masquerading as “high-end” jewelry. All perfectly bookended with relentless “newsletters” from the owner crying about liberals, trans people, and capitalism. Dude has been running a 90% off “deal” on his gear ring for the last year and a half and he swears up and down it’s “almost out” this time, every time. Don’t buy this trash.

I bought a Kinekt Tag and they sent the wrong size. When I contacted them, they quickly sent out the correct one and "kindly" asked me to return the wrong one, saying they would reimburse me. I did so ... and now they're ignoring my emails, so I'm out of pocket because I was nice enough to help them. The stuff they sell is OK, but don't trust the spin about the company - they might be a "family business", but they're not nice people, do not trust them.

Down to 1 star now. I have waited 7 months for my purchase and I get more of the same. I am told I need to wait, while he keeps developing and selling more items, that likely also do not yet exist. Beware - he sells items that are actually presales without telling you, with no clear date for shipping.I have reported this fraud to the FTC

I am adding my own one star review to all the other ones wishing we could give zero stars. I bought several products from them over the years and been quite satisfied. Including them following through on their original replacement guarantee. I contacted them yesterday and Glen has been nothing but an a$$hole. Coupled with his increasingly frequent unhinged conspiracy emails, it certainly seems like he has developed some mental health issues. Bottom line? Stay far far away from this company.

This is what happens when a good company turns into a wierd propaganda machine. I used to get emails rarely about rings, but now it's constant irrelevant emails about sham products that don't even exist. Eg. Kinekt saying I should buy their low grade silver because money isn't real. Or Kinekt selling a fictitious gear ring controller, but click the link and you get 404 not found. Or Kinekt having the audacity to ask for $50 so that you can remote control something through a maze for 2 minutes and maybe win a prize, you've got to be kidding right? Or their latest instalment which says your freedom is gone and it's time to box the government out. It'd be great if this place just stuck to selling actual nice products, but now there's so many red flags with this company, I'd avoid this place at all costs, and I'm deliberately submitting this from a temp email.

I would absolutely give -5 stars if possible.Quality is awful, customer service is disgusting, and they DO NOT honor their life time warrantee. After an ugly email chain, this scumbag is now harrassing me. I had to threaten calling the police.I would suggest not wasting your money on such a garbage company. Walmart has better products and customer service...and that is saying a ton!NO LOVE FOR THIS ASSHAT AT ALL!

I purchased this ring since it's different when watching videos on YouTube, so far the experience has been horrible, firt I made purchased pay in full and 10 days later nothing so I contacted hello@kinektdesign. and the 1st and only answer was Sorry I'm slammed. That's it then another 5 days go by and still nothing so I asked again when do I get what I paid for so still no answer ans then they decide to cancel my order and I have not seen a refund or any response from this "business " I wouldn't recommend it since they obviously can't keep up and can't comunicate.

I ordered a ring. Color was not as I expected, so I paid to return it and swap for plain stainless steel, no big.The second delivery was to an entirely different (non-existent) address, not even remotely close to mine although the street number and city were the same (???). I VERY politely tried to resolve this, but he said it was impossible for him to have made a mistake, and I'd have to pay for another round of shipping. I provided *photographs* of receipts showing I had entered my correct address, and he just said "nope" and forced me to either pay for additional shipping, or go through the hassle of suing someone across state lines.Don't do business with this guy. He's an aggressive, petulant, petty person who will punish you for his own mistakes.

This company is the worst. Glen treats customers like the Gestapo, you can’t speak out against his unethical business practices or he will act like a petulant child throwing a tantrum because I do not accept paying for a product and then not receiving it nor getting any updates on the production of said product. Lodged complaints with the BBB and the FTC for unethical practices, I can only hope more people do the same to draw some attention to this thief. Judging from all the poor reviews I see here, I’m not the only one falling victim to this scheister who took my money over a year ago and never sent the product and now refuses to email back.

I got a gear necklace in 2014. I had the chain replaced previously with no issues but recently their customer service has become horrible. I leave messages to get information on trying to buy a new chain with no reply. I have attempted to get a reply at least 5 times so far with no luck even though their chat box says “Thanks for your message. We’ll be with you as soon as we can. If you prefer not to wait, we’ll follow up via the contact information you provided.” No response either way.

Sent Glen an email asking a simple question. Are you going out if business?I asked him as I read a few posts he was. Before I placed an order I thought it was relevant as to how customer service would be. I planned to buy several rings for my team. Glen was the furthest thing from professional. After multiple condescending email responses from him I asked 1 more time. Again he never answered it just an a$$hole comment. If you want to buy from a jerk that has zero care about you here is the guy. If not several people offer the same rings he does and they care about customers.

Absolute rip off buyers stay away from this sham company! They sent me a £93 gear ring , totally wrong size so I paid the additional £18 postage to have it returned by royal mail ..who confirmed the y had returned ring to kinekt but then kindly ect went silent and ignored my emails and attempts to contact then. I wish I hadn't been so patient and trusting as now PayPal have said they cannot help with the refund as it is now outside they're time limit ! Stay away at all costs , I would be giving zero stars if that was an option . Thieves .

Ok first of all years back I purchased the gear ring and loved it but I just recently lost it after having it for YEARS. Then I just purchased another one for the same price of $175 and the quality has went down you can pull out on ring and there is looseness and before new one came in the reduced them to $50 and wouldn’t give adjust my price. I was told now refund and to bad. I will never buy from this company again. Kinektdesign go back to when you started and figure your crap out.

My partner has had the ring I got him for 4 years now...it still works and looks lovely.

I advised Glen of his failure to abide by FCC regulations that impose a 16k per u solicited email. While he will pay the price of the FCC complaint as well, I feel it important to inform the public at risk of doing business with this man of his blatant disregard for common courtesy and his customer service. He refuses to stop emailing me, and he is a severe chore to deal with when it comes to service on his products. I’d recommend you seriously consider an alternative - there are plenty of other designs similar to his to be found around the web. Enjoy the reap of your sow, Glen. As you arrogantly like to sign your ignoring of my requests to be removed from your fraudulent email program, "With love and Respect".

SCAMMERS- being run by a boy child with no manners. Purchased a gear ring for my husband many years ago, it fell apart. At that time they replaced it - however has again fallen apart. Emailed Glen who said to “buy a new one”. When we questioned the “lifetime warranty” it was sold with received a childish “don’t get a ring then” response. Absolute moron. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS D*CKHEAD
