This site is useless. It's upsell after upsell. Customer service is not helpful. No response to email. You can cancel your subscription but have to jump through hoops to get your money back. “Very dissatisfied”

I purchased this app in the morning, tried using it and got very frustrated. Its app development is terrible. The meal plans and recipes don't easily adjust for number of servings and it's impossible to delete meals you want to skip; you can only change them. I contacted customer service to get a refund a few hours later. They said they do not give refunds, even though I'm very disappointed. TERRIBLE policy! “Expensive meals with too many ingredients and ingredients I don't like”

I signed up for this program and within less than 12 hours, I knew it wouldn't work for me. It has way too many ingredients per meal and added main ingredients to each meal plan that I don't like. It gives the option to change the meal, but I still got ingredients that I didn't like and would be difficult to find. I asked for a refund and was denied. Unless you really like to cook with several ingredients and want to spend alot of money on meals, recommend not purchasing this plan/app. They say they have a 14 day refund if you don't like it,but they won't refund your money. I didn't like the recipes at all and It charges extra for every little thing. I asked for a refund because I had to pay for 4 months up front and was denied a refund because there's nothing wrong with their app. Wow! If a company can't guarantee a product its a red flag. “Beware of the auto billing”

Careful with the auto billing as they will give a low cost offer and then charge you for a year a couple months later without warning. Then refuse to fully refund as their policies are all sales are final. Feels like the only reason you do this is bc I a good amount of profits are customers 'accidentally ' purchasing based off some low cost marketing offer. I signed up 2 years ago and ended up not using the app at all. I missed last years automatic renewal for $60, but saw this years one. They were unwilling to refund the recent charge even though I contacted them immediately. Don't sign up. I did not find the app to be user friendly at all. Site auto renews after 1 year. Within the 2nd day of $198 annual renewal hit my bank, I cancelled subscription and requested a refund, which has been a painful process. To date, have received refund and sadly suspect I never will. Buyer be ware

“I should have read the reviews! BEWARE!”

As noted in many reviews here the app is worthless. Their business practices are a scam. You'll receive a renewal charge after a year but you won't receive any advance notice that the charge will be made. It just shows up on your credit card. I noticed the charge right away and contacted them immediately to cancel the subscription that I didn't know I had, and asked them to refund the charge. 2 days later they responded that my so-called subscription would be cancelled but there would be no refund, even though I told them on the same day the charge was made. That's what is commonly called a SCAM! A reputable business would let you know that the renewal charge was coming and give you an opportunity to cancel. Or at the very least, they would offer a refund after sneaking this charge onto your card. But not Keto Cycle! They have a good thing going here by snagging your money and not giving it back. Don't make the mistake I made! It's a worthless app and a company whose business model relies on people not realizing they are subscribing to something and not refunding once they realize it.

“Absolute waste of money”

Very complicated and time consuming, plus the menus they provide require loads of ingredients at very small quantities, not at all suitable for someone living alone. Shopping lists are ridiculous, where can you buy 30 grams of bacon and 80 grams of mince? Buy a pack and have to weigh it out yourself, and the remainder goes bad because you cant eat it 2 or 3 days in a row. Useless site. My schedule often had 3 egg based meals in a day. One time supper was "bowl of hazel nuts". The recipe ingredients list doesn't necessarily include items used in the instructions. While this program might be fine for some it's just not for me. I purchased 6 months which was dumb on my end and after 5 weeks contacted and asked for a partial refund. Nope. If your program is that great you should stand behind it.

I wish I had read the reviews on this site prior to purchasing. The negative reviews are right on. You cannot try the app until you purchase it. Meal logging is tedious. You can only log food by weight, which is not convenient. You cannot substitute ingredients on the recipes. Customer service maliciously misunderstands your concerns when you write to them. They will not refund your money. They run you in circles. I am out $100 for a year subscription to an app that is absolutely useless to me. Not too long ago I was overweight and found about Keto Cycle. With their full support with customized meal plan I was able to lose considerable amount of weight and I'm still going through. Don't know about other's but I feel just great seeing results.

I enjoy the different meals, even how the shopping list can be made for you. The articles are good as well. The how are you feeling section doesn't cover much, you are limited. And you cannot add your own. Example: cramps. Adding foods is also hard to do not easy. Finding different meals to swap search is not real easy. Removing ingredients is non existing. Adding comments in app is hard to find or non existant. And step tracker cannot be updated to reflect steps. Phone has to be on person to calculate. “Unfair Rip Off Conditions With Automated Subscription Setup & Awful Experience”

First of all, I did not have a good experience over all with their system. Second, their subscription for the app renews automatically without giving you a reminder or checking in if you still want to use it or not. Instead they just charge your the $66 and then when you cancel on the day and ask for a refund, they refuse it, justifying it with their unfair conditions. And third, their products that they sell, to help along with your Keto Diet, like their Keto Bars, taste awful. Would not recommend it to anyone, I will now never ever again use them and escalated the case on paypal, to get my $66 back. After I got paypal involved and wrote a complain letter to the Support, all over sudden I got the full refund, not just 50% as they first told me. This is what should of happend in the first place, when a customer contacts support within the first 7 days, when an automated payment goes through and things have changed for them. Then a full refund should be given without arguing about it and trying to force unfair payment conditions on the customer. Since they made after the complain letter an effort to rectify their mistake, I have adjusted my review from 1 to 3 stars. However for me, I am done with this Company. Tip for consumers:Don't buy it.
