Is kernowcraft.com Legit?

Really annoyed as I’ve just driven up from lands end to visit the store and buy a load of things to get me started as well as looking for some advice on jewellery I bought with me which needs adjusting. To find out that it’s not actually a store and is only for click and collect customers. Couldn’t find this info out anywhere online, huge waste of time

Every time I use Kernowcraft I am a little bit disappointed. Their stones are always slightly different sizes to those advertised but the latest order was just terrible. I ordered stones with mixed green/white colours but every stone sent was solid green & virtually unidentifiable meaning my customers are now requesting remakes as the stones don't resemble the stones they ordered.Also they get their employees to write reviews... Kim Thompson, who has left a 5 star review below, works for Kernowcraft. Just google her name with Kernowcraft & you will see she is all over their website writing their blogs, etc.

Have used for years, while often a little more expensive, shipping is lightning fast and product range is fairly wide, often wiry unique stones too.I ordered a disc cutter which didn't perform as expected, which was met with a pleasant response asking I return so they could check. Sadly it transpired their supplier had changed source and current stock will now only cut upto 0.3mm fair enough but I spent over £12 to send it back which hasn't been refunded or compensated for, I understand for returns because a customer has changed their mind, but for faulty goods I'd expect this to be covered, even if with a discount code for a future order.As this isn't the case, this will be my last order.

I bought silver ear studs from this company before, which were absolutely fine. This time I bought a silver craft kit including a silver ring with a gemstone holder. The ring has a 925 stamp inside. After just a few days of wearing the ring developed little black marks that do not come off with a silver polish cloth. I therefore do not believe it is normal silver tarnish but a poor quality silver plating. 2 months after daily wear the ring broke at the joints. Very disappointing quality. Customer service refuses to replace or refund.

A woman from Kernowcraft customer services rang me up, with a tray of stones in front of her and spent several minutes going through the stock to find a perfect stone for me ! Great :)

I had been out of using silver for some time so was unaware of current prices. As I was ordering some other items I added small pieces of silver sheet to my order without checking prices elsewhere. As it is a small company I did expect to pay a little more but it was more than double the cost from another supplier, and obviously as it was cut to order I was unable to return.

I have been using Kernowcraft since 1997 and still regularly recommend them to all my students. As another reviewer has mentioned, they are a small, independent company and as such, they have their main focus (gemstones and findings) along side other things that they stock small quantities of for peoples convenience, such as silver and gold bullion. They are not a specialist bullion dealer and as such, their sheet and wire can at times be more expensive. But what they specialise in, they do very well and are very competitively priced with.If you're looking for gemstones, beads, findings and an easy to navigate selection of tools, I highly recommend them.

I ordered a gemstone and paid extra for a large one, and it measured just under the the minimum measurement for the size range given. Quite disappointed.

Ordered some parts, including gemstone, to make a necklace. Has come in a timely manner, and all what I expected.
