Is kast.gg Legit?

I purchased a basin from Kast 18 months ago. Within months of its arrival, it scuffed and stained easily, despite me sealing it with wax. It also has a massive chip in the middle of the sink which looks like dirt. I inquired about it with Kast customer services and they were of no help. They explained that the sink will naturally have 'bug holes' which occur and change over time. Whilst the sinks look aesthetically pleasing, that's all they are. Have paid in the thousands for a basin to look scuffed and dirty within months. And don't count on any help from their cusomer service. Never again! As I renovate a number of properties, I can recommend Lusso and the London Basin Co. Their basins are far superior, and so is their customer service.

So , i was trying to test the website with the 1 day free trial offer they had , instead of getting my 1 day free trial i got charged for a full year , contacted support and im still waiting for an answer after 5 days . Also their app sucks dont use it worst quality product ever, sound doesnt sync image doesnt show…

They discontinued a perfectly functional Rabbit with a buggy, unfinished software that doesn't work half the time, and when it does it still doesn't have any features that would make it worth using.You literally can't have a voice chat when you're watching something together, because it will end up having an endless feedback. And their page says "Well just use the chat?"Garbage software. Bring back rabbit.

They bought out Rabbit, an actually good site, just to kill it and attempt to absorb its userbase. Then they tell everyone to download Kast, a program that not only can't do things nearly as well as Rabbit could, but doesn't even work properly to begin with, and basically ruined shared video streaming for millions. Thanks a lot.

Absolutely horrid. It has nothing to do with rabbit whatsoever. It's pretty much an ugly UI and invasive version of skype or discord. You can share your screen and you can turn on your webcam. Welcome to Kast. That's all there is to it, and it's about as populated as a sleepover in Chernobyl.Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this god forsaken abomination. It is a living example that you don't ever need to fix what isn't broken, especially when that "fix" is practically shattering the vase.

Kast is an absolute piece of garbage, so far it's worked only 1 time out of 5 when I've used it. Audio doesn't work for viewers half the time, sometimes the start streaming button will just literally refuse to do anything. So many nights of frustration and ruined plans with my girlfriend caused by this one stupid app

buggy and almost unusable. requires making an account to even browse the site, and a download to host a kasting. barely works even after download; crashed my entire computer and filled it with notifications in one second intervals. doesn't kast audio correctly and can't figure out how to make it save the changes when it wont let me. it cant be too difficult to make a streaming site like rabbit, but it made things significantly more difficult. easiest thing was to uninstall it. waste of time, spent more of it trying to kast a movie than actually watching a movie

Just terrible.This company took away the only really great and FREE screen sharing for movies application (Rabbit) and utterly destroyed it. Rabbit brought so much joy into my long distance relationship with my girlfriend and Kast destroyed it. Their program is unusable. There is absolutely NO WAY for you to speak with other party members while hearing audio from Netflix, movies, etc...why did you do this, Kast?It's like if a company decided start a really crappy online shopping website...but then also decided it was necessary to shut down Amazon. Why?

This is absolutely abysmal in every way conceivable. You need to download a CLIENT for it to work which is half a gigabyte, the audio never functions and the video is about as high bitrate as your grandmothers portable TV with noticeable artefacting on any screen larger than an iPod. Save yourself some frustration and use caracal.club

Kast is OK for what it is, but is entirely blind to community feedback and criticism. They are afraid to implement systems that we are seeing successfully by competing products, and opt to alienate the former rabb.it userbase (as well as new users finding the old domain and being forwarded)It's funny to look some of the names of people who left reviews here up on Linkedin: pretty much all of the 5 star reviews here are from Evasyst / Kast employees or 1st degree connections. They are trying to pull the wool over your eyes by manipulating the ratings on Trustpilot to save face instead of taking the community criticism. Quite embarrassing.

Absolute garbage.It won't share sound, 90% of the time when trying to update the name/picture/banner/description of my groups, it'll give me an error message with no reason given.Video quality is stupidly low.Clearly trying to rip off Discord's design and doing a terrible job.

I swear whenever I open Kast again a new problem arises. Whenever I get an issue and manage to fix it, next time I open Kast there is a different issue to be solved. I'm getting tired of this, Kast's entire layout and way about sharing video streaming sucks. It just makes me wish rabbit was back or that there was a completely different video streaming service because I would very much throw this one into the trash and scrap the application and start over.

i only gave this app a shot due to discord having some audio issues currently due to google chrome. kast is unnecessarily difficult to navigate, you cant fullscreen the video youre sharing unless you stay on the page rather than kast, and the video lags so badly that the service isnt even worth it. i dont see why they didnt just change the name of rabbit to 'kast' and kept all the functions we loved.

I’ve never been more disappointed at a streaming service. Not only is the connection poor but the ads are also very annoying. For anyone who wants a better streaming service I recommend using two seven. Kast is always freezing and won’t let me and my friends stream. It’s also very incompatible with other sites like Netflix. DO NOT USE KAST.

Kast is still pretty new so there is still room for a lot of growth. Sure there are some problems now but eventually there should be fixes to the problems that they've been currently having. Overall my experience has been positive to be able to hang out with friends and watch movies on our movie night despite the flaws.

literally the worst program ever. I used to use rabb.it alot to watch stuff with friends until this garbage company bought them out. Now we try to use kast and it literally never works. They fix one problem, guess what, another shows up. literally unusable and the company has literally no developers with even the slightest clue how to fix the smallest problems. Even today it still doesn't work, good job kast, you suck.

Absolute a$$$. Took a perfectly fine company and platform and drove it into the ground. Here is a list of things Kast does horribly:+ Downloading software to your computer to use, only to make you download MORE, EXTERNAL software to fix problems they can't fix themselves which brings me to my next issue..+ AUDIO. If you want to cast a movie forget about hearing it unless you're the one casting it! + Customer support. They refer you back to their helpless review pages then ask you if that helped solved your problem.+ Lags so bad my 90 year old grandmother could run a 5K marathon before it loads three frames of a movie.It's evident that the Kasting software engineers only have an 8th grad home economics class as their software background. Very sad.

Absolutely the worst experience ive ever had with streaming.The whole thing is frustrating and confusing to use, nothing is ergonomically laid out and it's all laggy and awful to use.It should not be that hard to create a room with 2-3 friends and watch a movie, yet somehow it took me and my fiance 40 minutes to figure out how to use this awful backwards system, and even then once they'd figured it out we decided it wasn't worth it and closed the software.Rabbit was far from perfect but at least the software worked!

Pathetic UI, echo if you're talking to anyone else online. Your settings button only helps you change account information. The fact that anyone would put this service on the internet and have the audacity to put ads on it astounds me. Please don't support them.

Kast does what it's supposed to. I can watch and share whatever content I like with friends and strangers, and the recent changes to the web experience have made it even better. I like being able to have the video full in the browser, where I don't have to have a participant list or chat window always active.
