karmagroup.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives karmagroup.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 34.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Medium Risk. Standard. Warning.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 34.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to karmagroup.com's industry. The algorithm detected fairly high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Medium Risk. Standard. Warning. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning karmagroup.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between karmagroup.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of karmagroup.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of karmagroup.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. karmagroup.com is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether karmagroup.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether karmagroup.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, karmagroup.com.

Hi! I wanted to alert tourists visiting Goa about the Karma Group. They have people stationed on the streets near beaches and Aguada fort with scratch cards promising free prizes. Once you "win," they tell you that you need to visit one of their properties to claim your prize. They say it’s part of promoting their new hotel. **SCAM ALERT:** They take you to their property, where they run a high-pressure sales pitch for hotel memberships. They try to sell you a membership costing **₹6.54 lakh per year for 25 years**, with a **₹48 k maintenance fee additional** hidden in the fine print. The process takes over three hours, during which they aggressively push you to sign up. If you decline, they become dismissive and even hostile. I’ve never experienced such aggressive tactics in my life—it was shocking to see a hotel company operate like this! While you might eventually get the "prize" they promise, is it really worth ruining your holiday and enduring this ordeal? Don’t fall for their tricks. Shame on you, Karma Group, for preying on tourists and ruining vacations with these scams!
We experience the Karma Karnak 7 day cruise while visiting Egypt for the first time. We had a great time on the cruise. The cruise team members looked after us very well. The only challenge was the size of the room for double which was very small and enough space to move luggage around. Also, the boat was a bit old and hence leakage issues in the bathroom were a problem. I would recommend Karma to get a newer boat since these issues should not create a shadow over the overall great experience that we have had on the cruise. The spread of food , especially for us vegetarians, was really good. The cooks, waiters etc. were very friendly and took up suggestions. The reception desk was prompt. The KArma team of Aditya, Mahendra & Vaishali were approachable for any issues. The sight seeing tours were optional. They were a bit expensive compared to the others but the handling of each of these was excellent - both the guides - Mohammed and Mohsin were very good with the history details of each place. The overall program w.r.t to ge-togethers was very well done which made the entire group gel together very well. The Christmas party, Nubian dance, Belly dancing etc. was fun i definitely recommend the Karma Cruise to all the members
One week in karma boat lagoon phuket... Other than the convincing sales pitches to invest more and become a partner.. every other thing was awesome. Be it the villa with kitchen , prompt buggie services and the property.. everything was good. We enjoyed our stay.. helpful and friendly staffs helped us every way. Would have been more happy if I could have enjoy my birthday a little more rather than the meetings which stretched till aprox 11at night. Although they arranged cakes and some room decorations, both the parties where tired and exhausted. Hope we face no more sales pitches in future.. if so we would have to think over our decision of being a karma member.
a great vacation at boat lagoon had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the Thai food along the waterfront it was a unique experience to see all those huge boats in the lagoon
it was great property, good food, swimming pool and main in rush dayes of crismas and new year got good service
We visited Karrma Konark Nile cruise from December 19 to 26 2024. We were a group of 5 and had booked 2 rooms a double and a Suite. The Suite room was good but the double was quite small. Hence I suggest traveling lite. The Karma staff made sure we got to know other members on the cruise by organising interactive games and soon we were a great family of 45. Every day there were tours to Historical sites as we stopped at different places. We took all recommended tours including all optional tours as there are so many historical sites worth visiting, hence it became quite hectic. Suggest that if you are not a historical buff, choose the main sites only and enjoy staying on the cruise ship more. The guides Mohsin and Mohammed are very knowledgeable and make the entire experience unforgettable. The food spread is very good and both veg and non-veg items are available in plenty, hence no need to worry about food. Just watch your weight. On Christmas night there was a gala dinner with cocktails. Every evening the DJ kept us on our feet with some great music. We also enjoyed the Nubian dancers and a belly dancer show. The Karma team headed by Mark with Aadi, Mahendra and Vaishali looked after us well. I would recommend the Karma Konark Nile cruise as it is quite an enjoyable experience. I recommend you stay 2 nights in cairo on your own before the cruise and see the Musem and the pyramids.
A week Nile Cruise... I've called the number provided before purchasing to ask for a specific date as it was my partners birthday and wanted to do a lovely surprise.I was told , that requested date is available, wanted to book straight away but someone with very poor english said straight: write email, and disconnected the line.I wrote an email with questions, as I wanted to make sure that all is in place, especially requested dates and then "party" started with misleading informations, or luck of response, the date is not available, then it is , no it isn't but week before & after is, then ok week before... no sorry not available.. we have live system ... choose other dates... It was truly stressful experience. Not reliable at all. I asked for contact to management to write a complaint about misinformation and very poor communication that led to the information from Priti that "requested dates are no longer available" and I can always ask for refund. 4 days emails flying here there unsuccessfully for us. Not recommend at all to anybody. Truly disappointed.
The location of the resort, the resort itself is 5 stars, people are courteous, services are good but can be better for many amenities. However the overall holiday was wonderful.
What a fantastic place for our stay.We stayed in the main house and it was like being in a mansion. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
A Beach Day Detour: Psychological Warfare in Paradise Yesterday, after a blissful day at the beach in Jimbaran Bay in Bali, Shay, the boys, and I stumbled into an unexpected "adventure"—a three-hour high-pressure sales pitch that turned out to be as much an education in psychological tactics as it was an exercise in patience. As a psychologist, I couldn’t help but dissect the whole experience, and honestly, it was fascinating to reflect on the subtle (and not-so-subtle) manipulation techniques they employed. Here’s a breakdown of what happened and a little analysis for anyone who might find themselves lured into the same scenario. The Bait: It all began innocently enough: a friendly Balinese man handed us “scratchie” tickets on the street, promising that we could win one of five incredible prizes: an iPhone, iPad, $5000, an iWatch, or a week's stay in their villas anywhere in the world. The catch? We’d have to sit through a “short, one-hour” presentation. Psychological Insight: The Scarcity Effect This setup leverages scarcity—the idea that you're one of the “lucky few” who could win something extraordinary. By dangling desirable, limited prizes, they create a sense of urgency and exclusivity. The Setting: Luxury and Familiarity Once at the posh villas, they immediately handed the boys company-branded t-shirts (how thoughtful, considering we were all in wet swimmers). Enter Corina, our “consultant,” an effervescent middle-aged woman who “just so happens” to live on the Gold Coast and be Danish—just like me! What are the odds? She ushered us into a sleek room with massive screens flashing idyllic holiday destinations. Psychological Insight: The Reciprocity Principle & Relatability The free shirts? Reciprocity at work—they give a little, you feel indebted. Corina’s shared “background” is a classic mirroring tactic to build trust and rapport. The Dance of Agreement: We’re oohing and ahhing over their impossibly perfect resorts. Corina repeatedly asks, “Isn’t this amazing?”—a question designed to elicit agreement. By the time the manager, Cameron (a charming Kiwi), arrives to “approve” us, we’ve nodded more times than bobbleheads. Psychological Insight: The Foot-in-the-Door Technique This is all about incremental commitments. Every time we say “yes,” we’re subtly reinforcing a psychological investment in their product. The “Manager” Parade: After Cameron, another enthusiastic manager swoops in with a laptop to show us “special deals.” There’s a story about a guy in Mexico who needed eight villas for a wedding, and more incredible discounts trotted out like parade floats. We are now at least 2 hours in!! Shay is now yawning, the kids are restless, and my phone is dead—perfect timing for their pièce de résistance: the big pitch. Psychological Insight: Overload and Fatigue High-pressure sales tactics often hinge on decision fatigue. The longer they keep you engaged, the more mentally exhausted you become, making it harder to think critically. The Offer Finally, the deal: a 25-year contract for $27,695, payable upfront or over six months. This was of course much cheaper than the typical fee of 38,000. We balk, politely stall, and get ushered to a new table to “talk it over.” When we clarify that we’re not interested, their sunny demeanour dims. Apparently, the “deal” is off if we walk away! Psychological Insight: The Anchoring Effect and Guilt-Tripping By starting with an exorbitant offer, any smaller amount seems reasonable in comparison. The guilt tactics are meant to trigger compliance—after all, they’ve spent three hours on us. The “Prize” After all that, we leave with...drumroll...a one-week stay in one of their villas (outside of Bali, of course). Oh, the irony—the company is called “Karma Group.” Let’s just say I’m channelling my inner karma by writing this post as a public service announcement. The experience was an almost textbook demonstration of psychological principles: scarcity, reciprocity, decision fatigue, anchoring, and more. It was compelling in the moment, exhausting in retrospect, and deeply manipulative throughout. For anyone who hasn’t been through one of these pitches before—consider this your warning: keep your wits about you, and maybe, just maybe, keep walking when the “scratchie” guy comes your way. (Also, still no new iPhone.)
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Karma Bayon, Siem Reap, Combodia. ! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth. The room was thoughtfully allocated and beautifully decorated with belated birthday wishes for my friend Nambirajan, a valued member of Karma Hotels. It was a delightful surprise for my friend and left a lasting impression on me as well. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I could need—plush bedding, a TV, complimentary coffee, and a luxurious bathroom with a rainfall shower, electric water kettle, Fridge with loaded drinks and snacks. I more main thing want to point out is elegant water Jacuzzi. The daily housekeeping service was thorough yet unobtrusive. The resort's facilities were top-notch, including a beautiful 3 water pools and 1 with temperate control, Sauna, and a relaxing spa. I also appreciated the small touches, like poolside drink service, serving food during breakfast in decorative plate and a cycle, is a perfect blend of style and functionality—it’s simply beautiful ( We together roam round the riverside and happening place of Siem Reap )The location was perfect—a steps away from the happening place of Siem Ream, Kampuchia (Cambodia).Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend KARMA BAYON, Siem Reap to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.
The overall experience was soo cool 😎 all the staff and the all the properties aree we maintained and have very family kinda of nature soo loved the experience 😊
This is now a revised review. After an initial issue with communication and booking the "free" holiday we won (by attending a presentation in Bali), Karma have now sorted this. We are now heading to Karma Salford Hall in the UK for a week in August this year and are very much looking forward to this experience. I will update this again following our stay which we have been assured will be amazing...can't wait... and thank you Karma for working hard to resolve the issues at play.
Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, Karma Sunshine Village is a hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate. The property boasts charming cottages and well-manicured gardens that offer a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure a delightful stay. Our stay was nothing short of remarkable, and much of the credit goes to the exceptional leadership of the Shreejith, General Manager and his outstanding team-Shantamma, Govind and Nagaraj. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and seamless check-in process set the tone for our entire experience. Shreejith's genuine care for guests was evident throughout our stay. He was always present, approachable, and ready to ensure that every aspect of our visit exceeded expectations. Whether it was personalized recommendations, prompt assistance, or just a friendly greeting, his dedication made us feel truly valued. The highlight of the stay is the tranquil ambiance, making it ideal for relaxation and introspection. Whether you're lounging by the pool, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, Karma Sunshine Village promises a stay that lingers in your memories long after you've left.Perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers, this retreat is a haven for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommended for a refreshing getaway!Kudos to Shreejith and the fantastic team for setting such a high standard of hospitality. This resort is a shining example of how great leadership can inspire an unforgettable guest experience. We can't wait to return!
**Review of Karma Bayon, Siem Reap, Cambodia** We had an absolutely delightful experience at Karma Bayon, Siem Reap. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. Our room allocation was perfect and thoughtfully adorned with belated birthday wishes for our friend Nambirajan, a valued member of Karma Hotels. This heartfelt gesture was a wonderful surprise for our friend and left a lasting impression on all of us. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with every comfort we could ask for. The plush bedding, wide-screen TV, complimentary coffee, electric kettle, and a well-stocked fridge with snacks and drinks made it feel like a home away from home. The luxurious bathroom, complete with a rainfall shower, was a true highlight. However, the standout feature for us was the elegant water Jacuzzi—it added a touch of indulgence to our stay. The daily housekeeping service was meticulous yet unobtrusive. The resort's facilities were exceptional. With three stunning pools (one temperature-controlled), a sauna, and a serene spa, every corner of the property was designed for relaxation and enjoyment. We particularly loved the thoughtful touches, like poolside drink service and the artistic presentation of breakfast served on decorative plates. The availability of bicycles was an added bonus, allowing us to explore the riverside and the vibrant streets of Siem Reap with ease and style. The location was ideal, just steps away from the bustling heart of Siem Reap, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. In summary, our stay at Karma Bayon far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating escape in Cambodia.
Hi I had very nice n smooth experience of stay in karma royal monterio, Goa…the stay was glimpse of happiness as their hospitality was awesome……The staff was also nice n co operative…I had short discussions abt karmas new products n upcoming properties…it was nicely put forth by Mis.Sarah n Mr.Kapil from sales …Overall it was good guester vth mouth watering b/f along vth dinner…I hve referred abt karma group to lot of fmly friends to enrole their names and enjoy abundant of nice experiences….ty karma group…
One visit to Karma Martam is a must. The resort is nice. Rooms are big.Staff is courteous.A little effort on room cleanliness is to be made, eg. the rugs in the room were not being vacuumed regularly and they had visible dust on them. A broom cannot clean them. The travel desk organises taxis to take you anywhere. The restaurant has a limited menu. But Sikkim is a great place to be and I would visit again in summer time.
I deeply regret accepting the free stay (but for a small fee?) offer from this company at Salford Hall, UK. The accommodation was far below standard—outdated, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. If you’re someone who enjoys luxury stays or quality accommodation, then this group is certainly not for you. There’s not a 5-star property in sight. To make matters worse, we weren’t informed until after booking that we would be required to attend a one-hour presentation. This turned out to be a high-pressure sales pitch for what is effectively a timeshare, delivered by pushy and misleading staff. We were so dissatisfied with the experience that we decided to leave after just one night, even though we had booked for three.I would strongly advise anyone against accepting a similar offer. The "free stay" is not worth the hassle, stress, or disappointment.
A big shout-out to Payas Pal and his team. They have truly achieved the heights of Customer delight. Right from accomodating my Mom (a senior citizen) to arranging a surprise birthday cake for me... everything was just perfect! Payas ensured that our stay was as relaxing as possible. Thank you team Royal Palms! Will definitely visit again...

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
