Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 50.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to kapersky.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning kapersky.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between kapersky.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of kapersky.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of kapersky.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. kapersky.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether kapersky.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether kapersky.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, kapersky.com.

Decided that one of my daily programs was a virus, deleting half the program mid use. Causing me to lose a weeks worth of work. Add this on top off them preventing VPN usage and deciding that websites such as Facebook and Youtube are Malware. No doubt a Russian phishing program. I wouldn't trust these people as far as I could throw them.
Saw a deal and bought the product (1x Year 3x PC).Installed it 3 months later - only to realise that THEY start the 'clock' when you buy it. Completely unreasonable and - if you ask me - illegal in the UK.Also, careful about the say they do subscriptions - they will make it (close to) impossible to cancel. They are NOT working within UK law - is my belief.Protection is good - their company approach to customers is wrong on so many levels.
Auto renew. I was helping my 80 year old mother cancel this from her system as she had struggled . I assumed it would be straight forward. Quite the opposite - we had the order number and after a merry dance with passwords we accessed digital river which showed us the payment method but no ability to cancel . To log into mykaperski was impossible because it refused to accept the email address - despite this being my mothers only email address. This felt like a scam . We have disabled the payment method , I hope this works. Is kapersky a scam company ?
Review from an electronics engineerJust spent 1.5 hours attempting to cancel the 'auto-renew'. Purchasing order email or order number not recognised message received. Checked numerous times to ensure it was correct - which it was. Changed the password and logged on to 'My Laspersky which informed me that my licence had expired - which it hasn't. Will NEVER use Kaspersky ever again and still don't know how to stop the further payments being deducted from my bank account. I don't believe any of this can be accidental.
Have had mixed opinions regarding their internet security suites over the years, but in the last year or so the program has become more and more intrusive, but not in a way that is obviously protecting my system. The current unacceptable situation has finally prompted me to remove Kaspersky from my computers...its ability to control my entire system is a risk I'm not prepared to take, and I advise anyone else to do the same...but it's your own choice of course! I now have Avast, and for FREE!
Worst internet security ever! Purchased a license for 3 devices for one year on December 1st 2020 and now 4 months later all of a sudden they cancelled it and instructed me to purchase a new one. Maybe in Russia a year is only 4 months. Stay away and use something else. Looks like they into scamming their customers lately!
Received loads of emails and pop up windows offering a 30% discount for renewal. Said discount would automatically be applied at checkout. Tried loads of times but discount was never applied. Eventually and reluctantly I renewed at full price and now I'm getting pop ups telling me that my licence has expired and protection has been disabled. What an absolute joke. I'm definitely going back to AVG.
This is the best antivirus software in the fast growing worldthe database updates daily with new information of the harmful productsafter installing it we can surf the web and pc without any tension this will block all malware and harmful websites. It protected me from many website's and malware apps
If you buy it, they make it almost impossible to disable auto renewal! Almost scam level. Also, their VPN doesn't let you change countries and their documentation is useless! Horrible product in so many ways!
KASPERSKY RENEWAL,Kaspersky in GB become expensive liar. After Kaspersky offered 30% pop-up discount on the renewal page - TO BE APPLIED AT THE CHECKOUT, I tried to renew my License, BUT BEFORE I PAY, HERE WAS NO DISCOUNT APPLIED AND THEY ASKED TO PAY FULL £49.99 price.Rubbish. Moving to Bitdefender or Norton.UPDATE:I still using Kaspersky Total Security.Just before Renewing for new License, I always searching online for the chipper License offers and its it.By the way, Firstly I started using Kaspersky by recommendation fro NatWest bank. Now NatWest using Malwarebytes Security software, so I tried it and...!RUBBISH !!!On my first try Malwarebytes did not asked to uninstall Kaspersky, and after half an hour my desktop computer crashed with a dead Blue screen and I had to reinstall system and delete Malwarebytes. After a week I tried again, but first I uninstalled incompatible Kaspersky and again installed Malwarebytes.NO LUCK! No matter what I did, computer was very sluggish and after 1 day it crashed again! Its it! NO MORE Malwarebytes NEWER EVER AGAIN!After searching online I found KIS 2021 License for 5 computers for £20 plus per year, and all my computers running very happily again.I feel sorry for NatWest messing around!I will do separate Review for Malwarebytes Security Software.
Impossible to cancel the subscriptionI have had to dispute it with my bank. Every time I tried to cancel it gave me an error message. I emailed kaspersky with a screenshot of the error message and they ignored it.I tried to cancel about 30 times and always got the error messages. This is fraud. I will ensure I let everyone know about this scam.
I've used Kaspersky for many years on Apple Mac and Windows 10 .....very polite and helpful staff .....till end November when I had to renew my Kaspersky.......( not going into it ) but guys if you have to phone Kaspersky double check phone number that you are talking to Kaspersky staff .......I have wiped Kaspersky from my PCs and blocked Kaspersky ever e mailing myself ......I would never trust Kaspersky again ......
As other reviews have stated, you have to watch the auto renewal because despite taking the necessary steps to ensure it is switched off, it will magically reset itself back to autorenew. I have taken to doing screenshots in preparing for the inevitable dispute I will have.Recently I logged onto my system to find there was an "issue with my subscription" which needed to be "manually validated". I had to spend 30 minutes messing around with customer service to get this done. Not sure why a system that calls itself "premium" results in you randomly having to mess around on a given Tuesday to ensure your PC is protected.Website is covered in capatcha checks which are pointless and time wasting.Customer service just fob you off if you complain, really poor complaints handling; they don't even bother to address you by name. Despite cancelling my auto renewal at purchase, my complaint handler just informed me as a way to make amends they cancelled my auto renewal. What a joke and a scam of a company.
Pretty good service. I searched everywhere and was really hoping google/android/chrome or microsoft would have better features but ultimately they all fall short. Kapersky has the best solution but don't lose your password!!!
Great product really really bad customer service.I have used Kaspersky for 4 yrs running as the product is excellent. However customer service is non-existent. The few times I actually received a response to questions they did not answer them in a helpful way, and then I annoyingly would get emails about unresolved questions, that would not be resolved. I have moved on and would never recommend them due to their customer service.
I always bought my products with them, but my license is going to expire, so I wanted to renew it, they never sent me my license code, they told me that they would give me my refund in a maximum of 5 days, a month has passed and they have not refunded me anything . It is a complete scam, do not buy anything here.
Given the extent of viruses, malicious emails as well as phishing on the Internet, knowing the issue well and being an IT auditor, I quickly understood the value of being wary of unknown contacts and protecting your computer and in fact any connected device. It starts with installing an antivirus on your computer which will eliminate 99% of the risk. I have been using Kaspersky antivirus for over 20 years. He gives me 100% satisfaction and recommends him above all.
Oh my gosh, Kaspersky's anti-virus is ok, but the account management experience is horrible. First the the design and graphics is from first generation 1990s/early 2000s websites. The management of your account, subscriptions, and orders is a myriad of interconnected sites from Kaspersky.com, DigitalRiver.com, and FindMyOrder.com.Your subscription isn't associated with you, it's associated with the OrderID and the password associated with the Order. Once you enter in a credit card, you can never remove it.Attempting to cancel an order results in an error"This page isn’t working www . findmyorder . com redirected you too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS"BUT... it's all very fixable. Happy to revise my review if some UX love can be applied. My strong recommendation to Kaspersky is put the time and effort into an integrated account management experience, don't make users have to navigate through the maze of third party platforms you've integrated with.
I am using the free version of security cloud. I do NOT use or want their password manager. But Pop Up messages keep poping up on my screen. They have not replied to my complains. So I'm uninstalling their product and go back to Avast. Lousy trying to force people to use a product they dont want.
I am trying and failing to cancel an auto renewal I do not want with Kaspersky. The Quote is 2.5 times higher than the cost to buy it. Nothing they suggest in emails or on their site works. It seems that you are barred from all sides by them to cancel. I can't even access where my payment details are ! (maybe in case I try to change them). DO NOT TRUST ANY COMPANY THAT HOLDS YOU TO RANSOM AT THE END OF THE TERM AND WON'T LET YOU LEAVE THEM.. they are making it impossible.

“Customer service”
This company renewed my subscription 10 days early and when I complained and demanded my money back they cut my account even though my year subscription wasn't up for another week. Customer service threatened me if I didn't uninstall their software. I tried to uninstall the software so I could install something new. I finally had to call tech support to uninstall. In the mean time a pop up window continuously showed up reading "You have been blacklisted"
“After three hours Kapersky (Guraid) solved my problem...”
After three hours Kapersky (Guraid) solved my problem with the License problem I had, and gave my computer a clean up, they were polite and gave me a lot of their time.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
